I was a replacement judge for Ben Rackett at short notice and I thank the exhibitors for accepting my decisions in a sportsman like manner and bringing their dogs.

P 1 Marris-Bray’s Plaiglen Biker Babe to Helenswood. 8 month old well grown quality black bitch with feminine head, well set ears square muzzle and dark eyes giving gentle expression. Well made all through giving a lovely shape. She has quality bone and moved well on tight feet. (BP); 2 Walker’s Andalasia Gunfire. 7 month old blue boy with handsome head intelligent expression and dark eyes. Everything is there but he is still a very raw baby at the moment.

J 1 Taylor-Kistner’s Merry Cocktails Spice of Life at Frieljoanipa (Imp Swe). Black bitch of 15 mths. With pleasing head and dark eye. Muscular neck she presents a typical outline and is well off for bone. Sound moving on nicely padded feet; 2 West’s Jamesfield Just a Star at Sheigra. Not in her party clothes today but with feminine head and kind expression. Balanced and well angled fore and aft just preferred the movement of 1; 3 McShane’s Meggiemac Scent From Above.

PG 1 Taylor-Kistner’s Merry Cocktails Spice of Life at Frieljoanipa (Imp Swe); 2 McShane’s Meggiemac My My My Delilah. 2 Year old black bitch with pretty head and good reach of neck. Pleasing angles fore and aft. Happy and sound moving I preferred the head of 1; 3 West’s Jamesfield Just a Star at Sheigra.

L 1 McShane’s Meggiemac Black Pearl. 2 year old black dog handsome head with good square muzzle and well set ears. Soundly put together with the correct topline and beautifully presented. Quality bone and moving correctly on well padded feet; 2 Merry Cocktails Spice of Life at F (Imp Swe); 3 Beckwith’s Sheigra Special Secret Balaambeck.

O 1 Marris-Bray, Wiggins & Wood’s Glowhill Gallivant JW. 2 yr old blue, masculine head with good square muzzle. Muscular neck into well laid shoulders, good depth of body which is well ribbed and short in the loin. Sound and typical ground covering movement. (BOB); 2 Beckwith’s Sheigra Simply a Star JW. 7 year old black bitch with pretty feminine head dark eye and gentle expression. Muscular neck into balanced body with strong loin and correct topline. Moved OK; 3 McShane’s Meggiemac Dolly Dexterity.
