Toys and Group

Many thanks to the Committee and my Steward for a successful and well run day, and to the exhibitors for attending.

PAPILLON

PG (3:1) 1st Olof’s Tarnock Wiggle Giggle: Balanced pup with good ears, well fringed, which he used to advantage. Nice head, good stop and well placed eyes. Bite good. Nice length of neck. Good shoulder, deep chest and body for age. Good rear end, tail set and carriage. Slender bone, straight legs front and rear, giving good parallel movement coming and going. Moved well in profile. BPIB, RBOB and PG3

2nd Stanbury’s Elendil Knights Templar at Inixia: Another dog with a lovely head and expression, nicely made but not as mature as 1st, nor as positive on the move.

Limit (5:1) 1st Orchard’s Panspayon Penny Royale JW: Mature Bitch in good coat, well put together with good rounded skull, nice dark eyes, well placed ears with good fringing which were used well. Good body but not overdone, good shoulder and stifles, correct tail set. Moved well in profile and up and back. BOB and G3

2nd Olof’s Tarnock Pop The Bubbles: Smaller in size but very smart. Lovely sweet expression, good head, used ears well. Liked her attitude on the move.

Open (4:1) 1st Olof’s Tarnock All Eyes On Me: Nice size dog with a good head, well placed eye, good fringing on well set ears. Good neck, shoulder and rear, strong bone, good stifles moved well.

2nd Stanbury’s Inixia Sowton Sensation: 10 month bitch pup. Nicely bodied and balanced for her age, coat coming on well. Liked her head and expression, used ears well, good tail set. loved her exuberant attitude and movement.

HAVANESE

PG (2:0) 1st Fitzgerald’s Adorele put A Spell On You At Beaugem: Nice pup with good head proportions. Nice eye, good ear set, mouth correct, nice expression. Good neck, well bodied for age. Medium bone. Coat coming in nicely. Lovely temperament. Moved out well. BPIB BOS and RBOB

2nd Day’s Immeleon Peppermint Latte in Cubadias: Lovely head and expression, good mouth. Well sprung ribs, slight rise over loin, good tail set just not as positive on the move as 1st.

Open (1:0) Woolcock’s Kenquince Big Guns Alphapups: Mature dog with good head proportions and a nice eye and expression. Well bodied with good bone, tight feet. Very good coat for his age. Steady on the move, maintaining topline. BOB

CHINESE CRESTED

PG (1:0) 1st Lock’s Chestnutcres Beam Me Up: 8 month old dog. Hairless, finer type with lovely profile and balance. Good head, slight stop, clean cheeks. Dark almond shaped eye giving a good expression. Ear set and carriage good. Nice neck and shoulder, good angulation both ends giving his easy profile movement. Tail set and carriage good. Needs to tighten up coming and going, but he is still very young. BOB PG4

Cavalier KCS

Puppy (4:0) 1st Hawkins’ Lexody’s Incantation Blenheim Bitch with good head and ears, lovely eye. More mature than 2nd nice neck, shoulder and body, moderately boned, good tail set and carriage, outgoing attitude and moved well.

2nd Player’s Anickily Black Orchid B/T dog, smaller than 1st, nice and compact, liked his head and expression and he moved ok when he tried, but a little overwhelmed today.

PG (2:1) 1st Hawkins’ Lexody’s Divination 11 month Blenheim bitch with rich chestnut markings inc lozenge. Lovely head and expression, well put together all round and moved well once she settled down RBOB BPIB

Limit (2:1) 1st Cox’ Amyrick Beatrice Fujairah Blenheim bitch, nice head and expression, with the lozenge mark. Good head and compact shape, another that was overwhelmed on the day, moved ok in profile

Open D 1st Hawkins’ Lexody Pandemonium JW Blenheim with a good skull, nice eye and ear set. Moderate neck, good shoulder, good spring of rib, nice hindquarters with good tail set and carriage. Moved out well with purpose. BOB

OB (1:1)

KING CHARLES SPANIEL

PG (2:1) 1st Jackson and Champion’s Amantra Kings Oak, 10 month Tri dog. Nice domed skull, good eye and ear set. Good turn up, nice expression. Cobby shape, nice profile but didn’t really give it his all today. ROB BPIB

Open (2:1) 1st Champion’s Rivermoor Stan Laurel at Lankombe. Mature tri dog with a good head, nice eye, good upturn and ear set. Compact with a short back, wagged his tail on the table, didn’t like the floor however showed enough to warrant BOB

PUG

PG (1:1)

Limit 1st Makepeace Hugapug Guy Fawkes at Sandigara. Up to size fawn dog with a lovely head. Open nostrils, good wrinkle and nice dark eyes. Thick neck, nice shoulder, straight legs. Cobby, well sprung body, strong hindquarters good tail set. Moved well. RBOB

Open 1st Makepeace Cedilla Cherry Jubilee at Sandigara. Lovely feminine bitch with a beautiful head and expression, good upturn, wrinkle, and open nostrils. Nice neck, good front assembly, broad chest, short body, good rear end and tail set with good curl. Good movement with required “roll”. BOB and G1

COTON DE TULEAR

PG (3:0) 1st Trickett’s Cotontricks Proper Diva. Lovely headed bitch, good proportions, lovely dark eye and good pigment all over. Nice front, well bodied, slight rise over loin, good tail set and carriage . lovely soft coat. Moved well. RBOB

2nd Voutsis’ Cotonkiss Flower Girl. Similar comments to 1st, but eye not as good and dropped her tail on the move. There seemed to be quite a few today that didn’t show themselves to advantage.

O (2:2) 1st Well headed dog, lovely round, dark eye. Good ear set. Tight neck, good front assembly, nice depth of body, correct rise over the loin. Moved well with good tail carriage. Soft coat and good pigment throughout. BOB

2nd Fry’s Blosscoton Kuhsandruh. Smaller cast bitch. Nice head and expression, well put together, good movement. Lots of dark pigment.

POMERANIAN

PG (3:1) 1st Phillips Norvanik Gold Charm Orange sable dog. Foxy expression with good pigment, ears used to advantage. Mouth good. Compact in body, good angulation front and back, moved well in profile and to and fro. Fine bone, thick double coat with full frill. BOB

2nd Lovell’s Pawsamy’s Sweet William JW. Wolf Sable dog. Another lovely head and expression, good pigment, wealth of thick, double coat, good furnishings. Not as good in shoulder as 1st.

Open (1:0) 1st Lovell’s Pawsamy’s Rose JW. Orange sable bitch with a pretty, feminine expression. Good pigment. Fine bone, short body, good tail carriage. Thick double coat. Not as positive behind. RBOB

ETT

PG (2:1) 1st Salisbury’s Wykewoks Tommy Twinkle. Compact dog with a nice wedge shaped head, good eye set and candle flame ears set on well. Moved ok, would prefer more drive from behind.

Open (5:0) 1st Snell’s Skin Deep’s Mint Condition (Imp Nor). Taller dog with a lovely wedge head, good ears, well placed eye and good bite. Clean neck, good shoulders, straight legs with fine bone, good feet. Deep chest, nice back end, good tail set and carriage. Nice extended action. BOB

2nd Dicker’s Neerodan Thyme Bomb. Smaller cast, very dainty bitch. Liked her head, used her ears well, nice depth of chest and good anglulation. Moved out well. RBOB

JAPANESE CHIN

PG (1:0) 1st Thompson’s Rossyn Assami. Compact, cobby bitch with a broad skull, good ear set and nice sized dark eye without being over done. Typical “astonished” look. Wealth of coat. Nice square outline, good hare feet, moved well. BOB

Open (1:0) 1st Thompson’s Rossyn Magical Fantasy for Culverwood. Good size dog with attractive head, well cushioned nose and dark eye. Cobby outline. Good coat. Good bone. Not at positive on the move as 1st. RBOB

AVIR Toy

PG (3:1) 1st Mcleod’s Piccolito Macciato at Dunline Russian Toy. 8 month dog with a good head for his age, good ears which he used well. Nice eye size and shape, clean face with a good bite. Nicely put together, slender bone, slight rise over the loin and corresponding tuck up below. Square profile. Good temperament, positive movement, maintaining topline. BOB BPIB

2nd Mcleod’s Russiandream Frodo Strudel. Russian Toy. Good head and expression, nice ear carriage with good fringing. Square in profile, well coated, fine bone. Just not as sound as 1st on the move

Open (2:0) 1st Thatcher’s Kobanyal Pelyhes Odin with Devonia (imp Hun) Bolognese dog. Good size with square shape. Head proportions good, nice size eye, black eye rims. Good mouth. Well laid shoulder, nice depth of brisket, elbows close, Good rear end and tail set. Feet oval, pigment good. Well flocked coat. Moved well in profile and up and back. BOB G2

2nd Thatcher’s Devonia’s Anzio. Bolognese dog. Appealing head and expression, excellent pigment throughout. Well put together but slightly longer cast than 1st, moved well. RBOB
