My thanks to the officers and committee for a well run show, my steward for keeping the ring flowing and to the exhibitors for showing their lovely dogs under me. All exhibits were of good temperament and presented in good condition.

1 Pedley-Biggins’ DODDRIDGE DAZZLE UM WITH VISCAR

Brindle & White female with feminine head of good proportions, good eyes shape and neat ears. Well made front with plenty of depth for age, good tuck up. Wide quarters which are well muscled. Moved sound both ways but a tad weighty which spoilt her side gait and detracted from the elegance and grace of outline.

Brindle & White female with appealing head, good eye shape and neat ears. In fine fettle with correct body and well muscled quarters. She moved sound holding a firm topline, well bent in stifle. Accurate footfall. RBOB

2 Sharp’s CHIPPWHIPP GEORGIE PORGY

Pretty girl and appealing to handle on the stack, she has better muscle tone than the winner but not quite the foreface. Sound moving away but not so good coming as 1.

1 Livsey’s BRYNTREIA SEA OF LOVE

A well made grey brindle & white male of good breed type and balance. He has a well proportioned head with good eye shape and colour, small ears. Well made in front with mature rib to short loin and good tuck up. Carrying correct weight he moves sound. Just lacked some enthusiasm and style today.

Feminine female with beautiful head with correct neat rose shaped ears. She has a strong front assembly, good depth, well angulated, thick hind quarters with hard muscle tone. She moved sound with drive and enthusiasm. BOB

2 Sharp’s I JUST CAN HELP BELIEVIN

Another female with beautiful head, good eye shape and colour. Mature in body, short loin and well let down hocks. Not the hind action of 1 today.

1 Wilkinson & Wakeman’s BRONIA DONATELLO FOR WAKYWILKS

Black & tan male pup that is quite mature in body for his age. His head is still developing; he has a good eye shape and colour. His front is well made with plenty of depth, correct in body with ribs extending well back to short loin. He has good width over the rear, moved sound holding a firm level top line.

2 Small’s GLYNLYTHE’S HEIRLOOM

This red female has a pretty head and kind eye that I preferred over 1. She has a strong front assembly, with plenty of depth and sternum. Thick thighs with nice width over the rump. She moves sound but needs to firm up in top line to complete the picture.

1 Landery’s SOUXLINE ELIZABETH AT DUCHYROYAL

Mature female that filled my eye for her beautiful breed type and balance. She has correct angles in front with rear to match. Her body is correct, loin is short with good width over the rear. She moved with accurate footfall holding a striking shape in profile. BOB & Grp 3

2 Wilkinson & Wakeman’s WAKYWILKS CELESTIAL

This 7 mths old female pup is showing so much promise and such a sweetie. She has a beautiful head with kind eye, strong front with plenty of depth for age. She moved sound holding a firm shape in profile with reach and drive. Will watch her progress with interest. RBOB, BPIB & PGrp 2

This shaded red young female has fabulous breed type, a beautiful head of correct proportions. She is strong in front with hind quarters to match, moved sound when settled. RBOB

This promising female pup has so much to like. She has a pretty head with good eye shape and colour. She presents a balanced outline when stacked with good depth through for age. Just a tad soft in top line which maturity should put right, moved sound. BPIB

Black & tan mature boy with masculine yet refined head. His body is mature with plenty of depth and strong sternum. He moved sound with great reach and drive holding a firm top line.

2 Ashby’s RAYOL DALLAS COWBORYS AT JAXINORYDAX

A young shaded red male with masculine head and good depth throughout. He is made well in front and rear with correct body that will improve further with maturity. He appeared agitated on the move today which made his movement a little erratic.

1 Kilroy’s ROZELLE ROSALIE AT JANACOP

This female puppy has super breed type and balance. She has a feminine head with a cheeky expression, strong in front assembly with plenty of depth for her age, correct in body. I liked her width over her rear, she moved sound holding a firm top line and has attitude in spades which adds to her appeal. BOB & BPIB

2 Kilroy’s DO SMARTIES AT JANACOP

Another female puppy from the same exhibitor, she has good breed type and balance and is well made throughout. Not the maturity or confidence of the winner but time is on her side.

This female of almost 3 yrs has a typical head of good proportions; she is mature in body, well ribbed back to short loin. She has plenty of depth throughout and strong well muscled quarters. Her top line is level and firm, her movement sound, however she couldn’t match the reach and drive of the youngster today. RBOB

This young male is appealing for his breed type; he has a masculine head with correct eye shape and colour. He has a well made front with lots of depth, strong in hind quarters with good width to thighs. He moved sound albeit a little soft in top line. RBOB

A female puppy with a pretty feminine head, well made front with adequate depth for her age. She moved sound fore & aft, however tended to roach in top line and drop off in croup. She has time on her side. BPIB

This male stood alone but filled my eye for breed type and balance with no exaggerations. He has a masculine head, strong well made front with depth in spades, his body is mature. He moved as he is made, sound with the required reach and drive. His top line could carry a cup of tea without spillage! BOB

This very pretty female puppy shows so much promise. Her head is so feminine, body is right for her age and her movement is quite outstanding for one so young. BPIB & PGrp 3

A red girl with the wow factor, she caught my eye on entering the ring and didn’t disappoint on handling. Her feminine head is of correct proportions, good eye shape and colour. She is so well made in front with plenty of depth, correct in body, thick well muscled quarters. She didn’t put a foot wrong on the move, sound with bags of attitude holding a firm level top line. Another quality exhibit of similar type to 1 and share many attributes. Moved sound but not quite the smooth action of 1.

This mature male has beautiful size, make and shape and held himself well. He flows on handling from his masculine head through to his correctly set and carried tail. He is well constructed in front with hindquarters to match, spot on for body and in full coat. Moved sound with good head carriage. BOB

2 Partridge’s PETTIGANS VIVA LA VIDA BY RIVEROYAL

At just over a year old this female is of good breed type and presents a balanced outline. She is well made with a pretty head and good eye, moves sound holding a level top line. She was out of coat today and a tad over weight. RBOB

A red and white female that stood alone, appealed for breed type and balance. She has a feminine head, well developed front and mature in body. She comes alive on the move, sound fore and aft, plenty of reach and drive holding a firm top line. BOB

This boy is all male without a hint of coarseness; his head is very appealing with alert expression. He is so well put together with good balance and in tip top condition. He moved sound with enthusiasm. BOB & Grp4

Another good exhibit albeit different type to winner. This female is pleasant to handle with nothing exaggerated. She moved sound but a little soft in top line today. RBOB

I like this lad very much. He presents a lovely shape in profile both stacked and on the move with desired reach and drive. He has a masculine head, strong front assembly, well ribbed back to short loin. He has a good bend to stifle and well let down hocks. He moves sound holding a firm level topline. BPIB & PGrp4

Another quality exhibit of good breed type, this girl has a pretty well proportioned head, well made front with adequate depth. She has correct body and moved sound fore and aft, just not the drive of 1

Two cracking boys headed this class and splitting hairs was the name of the game. Both ooze breed type and have beautiful heads, well made strong fronts, depth in spades. Both moved sound covering the ground with ease holding firm top lines. Would just like a tad more condition on 2 which tipped the balance.

This beautiful red girl captured my heart. She really filled my eye for her outstanding breed type and balance. She is so lovely to handle with one part seamlessly flowing into the next. She has a typical head, eyes like deep pools of silk, strong front with deep keel. She just came alive on the move, sound as a pound and a firm level top line to dream of. How is the one not a Champion? Best Veteran and delighted to see her go Best Veteran in Show.
