Judge - Michael Blay (longbarrow)
What a lovely day judging Southern Pointer, and my thanks must go to the hard working
committee for putting on the show under difficult circumstances, and to the exhibitors for
bringing their dogs under me.
Minor Puppy Dog 3,1
1.Stilgoe & Fox: Teisgol Sweet William. Lovely start to my day, just 6 mth old and very mature for
age, o/w super shape to him, good head proportions with well defined stop and good muzzle
shape, clean shoulders, long, sloping and well laid back, good rib for age and straight forelegs,
correct through topline and muscling up nicely in rear for age, good angles behind with well
turned stifles, very steady on the move and showed a lot of promise. Pleased to award him BPD
and BPIS 2.Green: Hookwood Hawker. Still a very raw youngster, head still developing,
presented a good shape in profile when settled and stacked, but very narrow through front
which reflected in his movement, tended to throw his front on the return, time is on his side, will
mature up.

good head, would prefer a bit more neck as just seemed a little stuffy on the day, good lay to
shoulder and correct through topline and short coupled, well angled behind and found him to
be the best mover in the class, straight to and fro and showing good drive 2.Isherwood:
Wilchrimane Let’s Be Frank. O/W liked this boy’s head and kind eye, good length to neck, well
sprung rib, but on the day I preferred the topline and balance of 1, moved ok, but just not the
drive and reach of 1 3.Allen & Betts: Hawksfield Kings Ransom.

and shape, clean neck set on sloping well laid back shoulders, deep in chest (for age) and good
length to coupling, liked her angles behind with a correct bend of stifle, so mature and steady on
the move hard to believe she’s only 6 mths.

their qualities, this o/w bitch just caught my eye when she first went around the ring, beautiful
feminine head, best of fronts and good through rib and short coupled, well developed rear and
shone on the move with both her accurate footfall and her gracefulness. Was my pleasure to
