Irish Setter

Puppy (1/0)

1st Walkers’ Gwendariff Hanky Panky, M 8.5mth. Very promising, quality baby. Well modelled head with dark eye and lovely expression. Plenty of fore chest, strong neck and elbows well tucked in. Bodying up nicely, good depth throughout. Well angulated with good bend of stifle. Rich red coat. Good steady mover. BPIB.

Junior (3/0)

1st Jacob & Bernard's Forfarian Fancy Footwork, M 13mth. Beautiful, masculine head, elegant in neck. Good front, elbows tucked in, excellent topline. Good bone, depth and spring of rib. Nice feet. Has a very pleasing outline, balanced and has strength throughout. Moved well. Well presented.

2nd Sturrocks’ Forfarian Fancy Me, F 13mth. Litter sister to winner. Very pretty, maturing nicely. Well angulated throughout, quite eye catching. Has a super outline and topline. Moved well but just not as settled as her brother.

3rd Tupper's Alolfrana's Welsh Crusader

1st Sturrocks’ Forfarian Fancy Me. 2nd in Junior. Had settled better by this class and moved so well.

2nd Richardsons’ Bardonhill McIntosh Red at Montgreenan JW, M 20mth. Stylish boy of good type who is maturing nicely.. Excellent shoulders, good neck, masculine head with a lovely expression. Good feet and angulation throughout. Steady on the move but just lacked drive today.

Graduate (2/1)

1st MacFarlane’s Harelferg New Tricks For Umfrido, M 3yr. Racy boy with a good head. Lean neck, good depth and angulation. Unfortunately was proud of his tail on the move today. Good coat.

Limit (3/1)

1st Walkers’ Gwendariff Can’t Touch This JW, M 3yr. Very mature boy with a pleasing outline. Good neck into well laid shoulders. Excellent depth, very balanced. Super feet. Moved well with drive, just needs to stop being in such a hurry but once settled he comes into his own. Beautifully presented in lovely coat. Very well handled as he is not the easiest. BOB

2nd Hughes’ Gwendariff Plays The Flute, M 5yr. Another quality male. Good outline, strong sloping topline. Good head. Just not quite the coat and fore chest of 1. Another that just needs to be in less of a rush on the move.

1st Walkers’ Gwendariff Flags Are Flying, M 5yr. Well coated, mature male. Good head with a most kindly expression. Lovely neck, flowing into an excellent topline. Elbows well tucked in, good shoulders. Good depth of chest and spring of rib. Well balanced and angulated throughout. Lovely movement. Beautifully presented. Pushed hard in the challenge for BOB just missing out to his younger kennel mate.

1st Munros’ Xclusiv Pour Dulmaur Belfleur Du Roux-Miroir, F 6mth. Pretty baby with a lovely profile. Well chiselled head, with good dark eye. Excellent forequarters with well laid shoulders. Good hindquarters which she used well on the move. BPIB

2nd Cuthbertson's Lainnireach Star Gazer, M 8mths. Plainer in head and not quite the front of 1. A raw, immature boy but still plenty to like. Moved steadily.

Junior (2/0)

1st Millers’ Cafotaliena Heart Of A Hero, M 1yr. Good outline and head. Well set ears, nice dark eye. Excelled in front, good angulation throughout, immature but bodying up nicely. Good clean tan. Moved well.

2nd Cuthbertson’s Lainnireach Star Gazer, 2nd in Puppy.

Post Graduate (5/2)

1st MacFarlane’s Ardnadam Willow Coppice At Macdui, F 2yr. Nice head and expression, well set ears. Really good front, elbows tucked in, well sprung ribs, good depth. Very balanced and well angulated throughout. Best mover in class. Well presented and handled.

2nd Gray’s Kattandale Blac Hawke’s Bay At Birniehall. Less mature, really liked her head. Good front and rear. Moved ok but was unsettled.

3rd Pearce’s Ardnadam Hazelnut

1st Munros’ Panthera Bad Medicine Dulmaur, F 4yr. A very appealing bitch. Lovely head, ears and eye. So very balanced throughout. Excellent topline, which she kept on the move. Clean in throat, excellent neck, good rear. Well bodied, has such a lovely shape. Best mover in class BOB

2nd Millers’ Liric Just The Ticket, M 5yr. Beautiful expression, quality male. Lovely bone. Well balanced. Just lacked the overall finish of 1.

3rd Hoggs’ Gailiech Ngalyod,

1st Millar & Scobie’s Yennadon Calvay JW ShCEx OSW, M 6yr. Well presented, stylish, masculine dog. Moved very well, moves as one with his handler. Good front and shoulders, good rear, well balanced, nice depth and spring of rib.

1st Skene’s Rubethan Cake It Or Leave It SGWC, F 2yr. Lovely, feminine head. Good clean colour. Had a very nice outline, good neck and shoulders. Well muscled rear which she used to advantage on the move. BOB
