Miss M Anderson (Fireglove)

I would like to start off my extending my gratitude to the committee for inviting me to judge. Although my entries were small there was good quality throughout both of my breeds. All my exhibitors were kind and showed good sportsmanship, including the junior handlers which was very nice to see. A big thank you to both my stewards for keeping my ring running smoothly.

Junior handling (4:0)

1, Myla Hanes, 9 years old, handling a Bedlington Terrier.

A very competent and capable handler, she had a very good connection with her dog and handled her very calmly and quietly, Myla was able to show the dogs teeth well and give me some information on what the dog was bred to do, she moved at the correct pace and never forgot the golden rule, a handler I’m sure will achieve much more in the years to come.

2, Kayliegh Evans, 11 years old, handling a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Kayliegh did an exceptionally good job handling this young staffie, being a breed that are known to take the mick out of their handlers especially in the puppy phase Kayliegh did not let that get to her, when the dog misbehaved she calmly corrected the behaviour, she was able to show me the teeth with ease and moved her at the correct pace, in future try not to forget the golden rule!
