Judge- Miss M Anderson (Fireglove)

I would like to say a huge thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge a stellar entry of dogs! Among my entries I found some quality dogs including some promising youngsters across all my breeds who I’m excited to see mature. All my exhibitors were lovely and took their placings with a smile and good sportsmanship. A big thank you to my two stewards who helped to keep my ring running smoothly.

11 month old tan male, a bit of a nervous boy but didn’t take away from his overall look, a good long head which was well balanced, good length of neck, well laid shoulders and good length of upper arm, good amount of bone, level top line, well angulated in rear, in good condition, nice coat, lovely mover.

2, Mrs A M, Mr M & Miss C Lancashire & O’Donnell DRISHAUN A GIFT OF A THISTLE (AI)

7 month old tan female, a raw youngster who still needs some time to mature, good head with feminine features, enough neck, well laid shoulders, chest still needs to deepen, level top line, well angulated, a happy girl who liked to show herself off on the move

11 month old black and tan male, standing alone but that did not stop him gaining top honours today, lovely masculine head of good length, nice dark pigment, long neck into well set shoulders, good length of upper arm, good bone and substance, good depth of chest, level top line, good angulation behind which helped with his elegant movement, nice coat, delighted to hear he also received HG4 and HPG2, BOB BPIB

6 month old brindle female, a very promising youngster, lovely flat head, soft expression, strong pigmentation, of a perky nature, slightly curved neck leading into well placed shoulders, straight front, good topline, well angulated, moved with confidence, happy to see her get HPG4, BPIB

6 month old fawn and white female, another promising youngster of good size and shape, good head and expression, good length of neck, well laid shoulders, chest well developed, good topline, lovely rear angulation, coat in good condition, moved well for her handler.

13 month old brindle female, feminine head and features, good pigmentation, gentle expression, enough neck leading into well laid shoulders, straight front, could have better depth of chest, moderate tuck up, good topline, well angulated, moved okay.

1, Miss N Searle QUICK SILVER HE’S THE ONE FOR WHIPSEARLE VW

10 year old fawn and white male, a veteran who deserve more praise than he gets, lovely masculine head, dark pigment, soft expression, good length of neck, well set shoulders, straight front, good topline, could have slightly deeper chest, moderate tuck up, well angulated, in superb condition and coat, moved with power, BOB.

2, J Wilkinson SILKRIDGE SAFFRON OF FLETCHGATE

3 year old brindle and white female, feminine head of good proportions, good expression, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, chest could be deeper, straight front, good topline which she held at all times, rear angulation could be better, lovely coat, moved okay.

6 year old fawn female, so much to like about this bitch, lovely head, gentle expression, good length of neck, well set shoulders, straight front, lovely topline, good depth of chest, enough rear angulation, lovely coat, in good condition, pushed hard for BOB but unfortunately didn’t show herself to full potential in the challenge.

2, Miss N & Ms M Searle & Rawlinson REFFTON TIBALT AT WHIPSEARLE JW (IMP ESP)

21 month old fawn male, another lovely masculine male of good size, nice flat head, good pigment, good length of neck into well placed shoulders, enough chest, good topline, lovely coat of good texture, good rear angulation, well conditioned, strong mover.

6 month old female, a very promising puppy, lovely feminine head, strong pigment, good length of neck, well placed shoulders, straight front, good topline with breed typical ridge, good depth of chest for her age, good bend of stifle, a touch loose on the move which is expected, good coat, lovely to see her be awarded PG3, BPIB.

1 year old female, what a lovely youngster! Good size and shape, lovely head of good proportions, keen expression, good length of neck, lovely lay of shoulders, good straight front, chest needs to deepen but will come with age, good topline with typical ridge, good coat, lovely rear angulation, moved like a pro, a very happy girl who I think has a bright future ahead of her, BOB.

2, Mrs E Johnston UNGOWA ON THE ROAD AGAIN

15 month old male, strong head with good pigmentation, masculine expression, good length of neck, well laid shoulders, good bone, straight front, good depth of chest, lovely topline which he held well, good angulation, well conditioned, moved well.

15 month old female, feminine head of good proportions, good length of neck, well placed shoulders, straight front, chest still needs to develop, in good coat with typical ridge, enough bone, well angulated, in good condition, moved well but unfortunately did drop her topline.

6 year old female, I’ve seen this girl before and was happy to get my hands on her, nice feminine head, good length of neck into good lay of shoulders, straight front, good bone, good depth of chest, strong topline, well angulated and conditioned, moved well, pushed hard for BOB.
