Westbury & District Canine Society

Westbury & District Canine Society I’d like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at their first show after several years, thank you to all the exhibitors that entered and a huge thank you to my two fab stewards that kept the ring moving at all times! Pointers Special Yearling (5,2) 1st, Harvestlade Fire And Ice Through Merynjen (BP, RBOB and Puppy Group 1) 10 month old Orange and White D. Have watched this lad ringside since he came out, I wasn’t disappointed when I got my hands on him. He is all male. Kind dark eye. Beautiful long muscular neck that fell into sloping shoulders. Moved well, although very excited, still needs time to mature but time is in his favour. Delighted to hear he won the Puppy Group later in the day. 2nd, Freebreeze Pixar at Prosperity 23 month old Orange and White B. Pretty bitch, she has a lovely head and a pleasing expression. Graceful curves flowing throughout. She just lost out to 1 as I felt she wasn’t as positive on the move today. 3rd, Evaluna For Your Eyes Only at Mistin Post Graduate (0,0) Open (4,2) 1st, Evaluna Chasing Rainbows with Hookwood JW (BOB, Group Shortlist) 3 year old Black and White B. Eye catching on the stack. Really coming into her own. Lovely head, long muscular neck, well let down brisket. On the move she has a good driving hind action covering plenty of ground. 2nd, Pipeaway Laura Louisa at Lappakia ShCM (Best Veteran, Veteran Group 4) 12 ½ year old Orange and White B. Pretty head with a noble expression. Ultra feminine with graceful curves. An old favourite of mine, still showing the young ones how to move. GWP Special Yearling (0,0) Post Graduate (0,0) Open (1,0) 1st, Matravers Cherokee (BOB) 2 ½ year old D. Gentle expression, kind eye. Strong neck into sloping muscular shoulders. Well sprung deep chest. Covered plenty of ground on the move. Could see him doing a days work. GSP Special Yearling (2,2) Post Graduate (4,1) 1st, Newtonbriar Prue Bliss (RBOB) 2 year old Liver B. Lovely balanced outline. Pleasing head with a well defined stop. Good muscular neck which lead into sloping shoulders. Smooth ground covering movement. 2nd, Fraulynzway Hayley’s Comet 2 ½ year old Liver and White Ticked B. Attractive head, well laid shoulders. Built on slightly heavier lines than 1 but still with femininity. Moved well, covered plenty of ground. 3rd, Kenzduo Lilac Spring Open (3,0) 1st, Pingarypoint Milk Shake (BOB, Group 2) 4 year old Liver B. Loved this girl, ultra feminine but workmanlike. Well presented. Very balanced throughout. Muscular, arched neck into sloping shoulders. Firm, short back. Smooth effortless movement. 2nd, Fraulynzway Lightning Bolt JW 2 year old Liver and White Ticked D. Presented a pleasing outline, masculine head with a kind, gentle eye. Good depth of chest, well sprung ribs. Good tail set. Not as settled on the move as 1 but still moved out with reach and drive. 3rd, Brooke Will Do It Through Milcook (Best Veteran)
