Firstly, I would like to thank the committee for the kind invitation to judge these classes and secondly, a big thank you to all the exhibitors. It was was wonderful to see such a good entry. Special thanks to my fantastic stewards for keeping everything running well on the day.

1st UMBERTO DE LA RIVIERE OUAREAU (Trois Mme) – 19m old dog, well developed and masculine of excellent proportions and type, pleasing in head with a dark eye, correct angulation front and back, well muscled, moved with typical brisk gait, he was the only one representing his breed today, but absolutely worthy of his award, BOB

1st FRADAIKEE PRIVATE DANCER (Pryer Mrs T L) – 19m old bitch of a correct size and slightly longer cast, lighter in colour, coat just a fraction longer to my preference, level topline, thighs well developed, good set and length of the tail though carried little high on the move, front and rear angulation ok, pleasing head with kind expression, moved soundly

1st ZOLTAROUS WASABI FOR DHALASCAR (Swann Mrs K) – eye catching lean but robust dog with a great muscle tone, correct proportions and rich colour, typical elegant yet masculine head with intelligent, lively expression and darker eye, ears well set and of good length, well laid shoulder, chest of good depth and width, firm in topline when stacked, would have preferred fraction more angulation at the back and tighter feet, positive moving dog with confident and attentive temperament, BOB

2nd HAYWIRE TEXANA VADASZ (Campbell Mrs M) - 21 months old dog, another good example of the breed, stands on well boned legs with tidy feet, he has correct head proportions, good eye and kind expression, muscular neck, moved out well, nice depth to the chest, excellent harsh close fitting coat, wouldn’t mind bit more angulation at the back, preferred topline on the 1st, ResBOB

1st PITSWARREN TEMPUS VIATOR (Harper Mr J P & Mrs E J) – really liked this boy, 7m well balanced dog who presents a striking outline stacked, excellent head proportions and expression, eye still need to darken a little, well laid-back shoulder, good length of the neck leading to a level topline, nicely filled forechest, super angulation front and back, tail set and carried correctly, moved really well but as expected from a puppy needs to tighten up, BP

2nd VIZSLANYA VALOR (Challis Mr S & Mrs K M) – another really appealing 7m old boy standing a little taller than the 1st but very well proportioned and full of type, masculine yet elegant with just the right amount of tuck up, good turn of the stifle and very nice cat like feet, rich colour and dark eye, moved out effortlessly but when stacked tends to deep very slightly behind the shoulders

1st URSA MAJOR OF SKYROCKET (IMP HUN) (Percival Miss N) – this lovely bitch caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring, elegant and feminine with solid topline, powerful hindquarters, good rear angulation, she looked fit for purpose with a good muscle tone, slightly arched neck of a moderate length with tight fitting skin, head lean and noble, darker eye with intelligent expression, ears well set, correct depth of chest and tuck up, tail set and carried well, she could perhaps have slightly more angulation to her shoulder but that didn’t bother me as she was balanced as a whole and true to type, moved freely covering the ground very well, expertly presented, BOB

2nd LISTERLO GOOD AS GOLD (Ball & Fry Miss G & Miss M) – another quality bitch, everything neatly fitting together, built on slightly finer lines than 1st, graceful and elegant both stacked and on the move, classic feminine head with good proportions, pleasing angles and good colour, would prefer little more spring to the rib, good infill to the forechest, sound topline with tail set slightly low, forelegs straight and onto tight feet, moved out really well

1st HOOKSIDE TIANA (Land Mrs L A) – 2 year old smaller frame bitch with pleasing outline, balanced and harmonious in her proportions, attractive head, clean neck leading to good front assembly, elbows close to body, good ribcage, well let down hocks and good width of upper and lower thigh, darker in colour, moved well

2nd DARWIN GARDAU (IMP CZE) (Kubikova, Miss M) – 6 year old honest dog who falls on the taller side, plenty of substance but nothing overdone, head noble with soft expression to eyes, ears of good size and shape not fleshy, muscular neck of a good length, firm short back, slightly upright in forearm and needs more fill to forechest, presented in great condition

3rd SHEEPCOTHILL LILO (Anstee Miss C M)

1st PITSWARREN JIKO JW (Harper Mr J P & Mrs E J) – really liked this 17m old exceptionally well put together bitch, she has plenty of substance and bone but on a sound frame with good proportions, super head with correct length and depth to muzzle, moderate stop and gentle expression, forelegs straight and clean, well laid shoulder, excellent forechest and rib, firm level topline with great muscle tone and strong hindquarters, loin slightly longer, moved out very well, in the final breed line up it was a very close call but preferred lighter construction of the winner, ResBOB

2nd SH CH, INT, MULTI CH NICAEL BLUE DIAMOND AMONG OHANAVA VW (Wallington Miss S) – one month short of 8 years old bitch of a lovely quality, correct size and body ratio, feminine and elegant yet enough substance, level topline and deep chest, great angles on both ends, beautiful expression and darker eye, muzzle slightly long, she could perhaps be little stronger in front pasterns and have tighter feet, moved out well with reach and drive
