Thank you to all exhibitors for a decent entry given that the show was on a Wednesday.

More so, thank you for their support on a fairly warm day. Further thanks to my steward for her hard work on the day making everything such a nice and smooth experience. Last but not least, many thanks to the hard working committee for putting together a magnificent show and for their hospitality. I was very pleased with the quality of the dogs presented to me, their movement and breathing on a warm sunny day.

Puppy (1 : 0 absent)

1st. SMOOCHABULL THE SIEGE (A&M Commins-Nash)

10 months eye catching red&white brindle powerful looking but still with a puppy attitude male, well balanced. Nice clean head with a sour expression. A good turn of undertow.

Beautiful dark olive eyes, with nice ear placement and with a very nice layback. Very nice open nostrils which I am delighted to see. Good strong neck. Very nicely tucked on shoulders and brisket. Solid front with good bone! A good topline with a good roach and pleasing stifle angulation. Nice barrel of ribs which overall gives him the desired ‘pear shape’ back view from the above! Good tail, mobile and free. He moved and handled very well. Overall a very nice young male which caught my eye from the moment i have seen him in the ring. Happy to have rewarded him with Best Puppy. Very curious to follow him in the ring going forward.

Although a powerful dog, with a feminine expression. Good topline. Good free tail. Moved and showed very well. Very clean and nicely balanced. Strong candidate for the top honours hence I rewarded her BOB on the day. She had the full package and was presented very well.

2nd. BRITISHSTYLE MR HOBBS (Br. K Planson)

One year old red and white male. Nice looking from the outset, and a very nice standard size and well balanced looking bulldog. Good head with nice dark round eyes and roused ears placed correctly. Good appearance. Good bone.Strong neck and a nice topline. Nice tucked on shoulders. Good rib cage. Good tail set with a mobile free tail. Moved and showed well. Unlucky that he was competing against my chosen BOB. Considered him strongly for top honours and look forward to his development.
