Thanks for the committee for this invitation to judge at this lovely Cornish agricultural show,

it’s a great venue but the weather was shocking – it rained all day! Thank you to the

exhibitors that braved this weather.

AV Working Veteran (6,3) 1 st John’s Cristakell April Showers at Cheardicea, Alaskan

Malumute bitch 9 years old, she was really in good form and showed her socks off in the

rain! All feminine with smart outline, at one with her handler. Attractive head and neat ears,

uses herself well on the move to take best veteran in the working group.

2 nd Burnett’s Sushe Too Cool To Fool, boxer male 7 year old brindle, tall upstanding chap in

good form today also. He excels in head, well balanced with correct proportions, and nice

kind expressive eyes and correct bite. He has a strong arched neck and well-muscled body.

Handled very well to get the best out of him. He was also my best reserve best of breed in

the working group.

3 rd Akehurst’s, Ch Kernow all my loving JW

Dobermann Open (1) 1 st Capell’s Llepac Against All the Odds, male 2 years old black and

tan, he stood alone, but he was in tip top condition. Square in outline with out any

exaggerations, He moved out very well with good reach and drive, he too was very well

handled considering the weather conditions. BOB WG4

Great Dane Graduate (1,1)

Open (2,1) 1 st Callan’s Tyak Big Bear, 2 year old dog, he’s an impressive fawn male,

presented in good condition. Good balanced outline with correct layback of shoulder and

correct rear angulation. His head piece is impressive too, the most appealing eyes giving a

gentle expression. He is well off for bone and has super feet. He moved out well too.

Bernese Mountain Dog Graduate (3) 1 st Bridge’s Kernow Florin, 2 year old bitch, very good

make and shape, correct size and substance. Level topline, good angles which helped her

move out soundly and effortlessly.

2 nd Bridge’s Oonelladream a Stolen Kiss at Kernow, 13 month old bitch, liked her too, but she

just lost out to 1 st place on maturity. Feminine head with nice expression, she is a good

make and shape too. Strong back and correct tail placement. Good bone and tidy feet.

Sound on the move also.

3 rd Alehuyrst’s, Velvet Van’t Pachthof (imp Bel)

Open (3) 1 st Bridge’s Krimm Bernenska Sfora at Kernow (imp Pol) 2 year old male, smart

dog of good size. Balanced head with dark kind eyes, tidy front and firm back, well made

quarters which he used well on the move BOB WG3

2 nd Akehurst’s Kernow Loving Pledge, 6-year-old male in great coat. He presented a good

outline and has a good topline, with correct tail carriage. He is well off for bone and has

good feet. Sound also on the move.

3 rd Luck’s Durrbachler Von Zambara Bella Donna,

Newfoundland (2,1) 1 st Carter’s Zentaur The Fizz Factor ShCEx, 2 year old male black,

impressive dog in tip top condition. He was in fine coat. He has good proportions and a

decent head with correct stop, and square deep muzzle. Very showy chap, he floated

around the ring with good reach and drive. BOB WG1

Alaskan Malamute (2,1) 1 st John’s Cristakell April Showers at Chardicea, my veteran

winner. BOB

Bullmastiff (2) Graduate, 1 st Cox’s Blue Thunder of Black Hunar at Rainwilds (imp NLD), 8

month old dog, well up on size for his age. Good bone and nice pigmentation, his head is

balanced with good width of muzzle. He was shown in tip top condition and handled well

considering the rain! He moved out very well for a youngster with good drive. BP WPG1

1 st Cox’s Ardhub Ar Ais Sa Dubh at Rainwilds, brindle male of 6 years old, he’s a good size

and all masculine. Good bone and moved out steadily.

Open (2) 1 st Cox’s Gerlush Nimueh For Rainwinds, red bitch of 2 years old, nice head and

expression, dark eyes and correct ear placement. Well arched neck and good layback of

shoulders, correct rear angulation which gave her good drive on the move. I liked her a lot.

2 nd Cox’s Alonsobar Wile Ecoyote at Rainwilds, male brindle 5 1/2 years old, strong

masculine head with dark eyes, good front assembly, did not move as well as the 1 st placed

dog.

AV Working NSC (1 1 st De Boos, Zhora Viper V D Vanenblikhoeve (imp Nld) Bouvier des

flandres, bitch 2 years old, square and compact in profile, in very good coat. Smart young

bitch. Good head and expression. At one with her handler and moved out very well. BOB

AV Working Champion (1) Akehurst’s Ch Kernow All My Loving JW, BMD, 10-year-old

bitch, she really doesn’t show her age, good make and shape and in very good coat. She

moved out well and was very well handled. Best Working Champion
