Thank you for my invite to judge at this well run and friendly show. The sun shone down on us and I was blessed with a large flat ring and two fabulous stewards.
AVNSC Hound Puppy (4, 1)
1st Osbourne’s Beaujons Wayne Sleep with Braego
This young PBGV dog oozed showmanship and was shown in super condition. He moved out with purpose using excellent drive. Stacked he has a level topline, great tailset and excellent rear quarters. I liked his head which was framed by long low set ears. He carried his head well and I could not take my eyes off him in the Puppy Group, which he won with ease.Best NSC Hound Puppy & Hound Puppy Group Winner.
2nd Stratton’s Justartee This Is Me
A 6 month red and white Basenji bitch. This young girl is very balanced and presented a nice picture stacked. I liked her head which was feminine and well chiselled head, long neck and erect ears. On the move she has the most super forward reach and effortlessly flowed round the ring.
3rd Beasley’s Flaxside Druid

1st Hartley & Cannon’s Doucai’s Pixxispad
Just out of puppy this Pharoah bitch presented a graceful yet powerful image. She has a strong, long skull and long and lean neck which lead to well laid back shoulders. Overall she displays a lovely outline and was in super condition.

1st Wilenczyc’s Nibrass Celestial Lotus at Kashiba
Masculine 3 year old Borzoi. Loved his shape with arched neck and gracefully curved topline. He has a good fallaway and a nicely sprung, strong pasterns. I particularly liked his head with correct stop.
2nd Ashby’s Regina Alessandra
Pharoah Hound bitch of 2 years old. She has a super outline which accentuates her lithe body. Loved her femineity which particularly showed in her head which was lean and well chiselled. She stands on good feet and has the correct moderate bend of stifle.

1st Callow & Davis’ CH Whittimere Alright Bab JW
At 2 years old, this Norwegian Elkhound paints an impressive picture. She has a compact body with a square outline and was presented in perfect condition. Her head is wedge shaped and feminine with good ears. On the move she is simply effortless and strides out with ease. Her handler really got the best from her and she could not be denied Best NSC Hound then ultimately Hound Group 2.
2nd Ashby, Cappelaere & Samways Kurriera Krystal Amethyst
This lovely Pharoah was a little unsettled today. Stacked she looked impressive with the most beautiful, long and lean neck that leads to a clean outline. I liked her head, strong shoulders and neat elbows. Shown in super condition and well handled.

Basset Hound Junior (2, 1)
1st Allchorne’s Nelgus Cinnamon Spice
Standing alone today, I found so much to like about this young male. At 17 months of age he is masculine without being overdone. His outline is wonderful and demonstrates his long and well arched neck which leads to a firm, broad back. He has a super tailset and I would have loved to have seen him carry his tail. Sympathetically handled and presented perfectly. Would love to see how he develops.

1st Bufton’s Kenzduo Shore at Royalinne
Tricolour male of 2 years of age. This boy has a smashing outline, excellent tail set and a nice neck. His coat is dense and close fitting and he has good skin. He is well muscled, stands on good feet and was presented in super condition. His bone is strong and he carries his tail well. Well handled.
Basset Hound Open (4, 1)
1st Allchorne’s Nelgus Thyme Flies
4 year old red and white male who presents a balanced picture. I found so much to like about him. He has a lovely front assembly, well laid back shoulders and smashing forechest. I loved his head which was domed with a slight stop and the correct occiput. His eye’s a lozenge and his ears are set on low with a lovely inward curl. As wonderful as he was stacked, it was when he moved that I really felt his wow factor. Without a doubt this boy is fit for purpose, moving freely and effortlessly. BOB & Hound Group 1.
2nd Strudwick’s Armardio Ride Like the Wind Among Kumamatata JW
Another lovely red and white male, this one almost 2 years of age. Another masculine boy who is well wrinkled and in super condition. He has a good domed head, nice eyes and ears and a strong jaw. He looked lovely stacked and has a super fore chest. He has many virtues but today could not match the movement of 1 for me.

This red brindle youngster is well bodied, mature and balanced. He has a good head and a lovely length of neck. His shoulders are well placed and he is excellent condition. I loved his deep chest with neat elbows and deep, well sprung ribs. BOB

1st Bakewell & Scoles Nutts Corner
This sweet black bitch of 6 years really made me smile. She is so feminine and was shown in absolutely gleaming condition. She is pretty in head and totally balanced with wonderful curves. Her coat shone in the sunshine and I loved seeing her stride out.

1st Hicks’ Nuthouse Mastermind
A very promising liver nosed boy of just 13 months. He has a beautiful nature and really strode out well freely. I loved his outline and balance. His tail set is perfect and he carries his tail nicely. He has good bone, a strong neck and lovely quarters. RBOB to his lovely sister.

1st Hicks’ Nuthouse Going For Gold JW
I found this 13 month old girl to be really rather lovely. She is feminine yet powerful, in great condition and moved like a dream. I loved her size and shape and she was so sound, moving with an effortless clean action. Across the body she has a good depth of chest and wonderful sloping shoulders. I liked her length of loin and well bent stifles. Delighted to award her BOB & Hound Group 4.

1st Picton & Ince’s Priorpark Point and Click JW
This 3 year old male is masculine and strong and has a super temperament. He has excellent bone, a strong neck and a pleasing topline. I liked his quarters and he was well muscled. When free stood he stands fore square and is a nice type.

1st Herald’s Winterfield Lady In Red
A shaded red Min Smooth Dachs bitch of 11 months. What super outline and topline this feminine girl has. She has a sweet correct head with dark pigment and a lovely chest. She moves out well and is a promising prospect.
2nd Giles-Wyatt’s Clarismore Crown Prince
This young tricolour Beagle male was really flagging in the heat today. He is well boned for his size and has a handsome head with nice low set ears. His pigment is dark and he has a nice chest.

1st Thomas’ Bowdonia Sky Full of Stars
I loved everything about this 17 month old fawn and white brindle. She oozes quality and is the most stunning shape and size. I particularly liked her outline, balance and beautiful feminine head. One the move she is so true and looks effortless in profile. I am sure she will go on to have a very bright future.
2nd Holder & Boggia’ Boughton Back to the Future
This red brindle greyhound bitch was a striking exhibit who has huge ring presence. She has a super depth of chest, nice head and wonderful curves. She moved out well, being free with a nice stride.

1st Middleton & Gilhooly’s Stormida The Brave
Shown in wonderful condition this fawn Whippet of 3 years has a lot to like. He is a super shape and size with a beautiful coat and skin. I loved his elegance and felt he came in to his own on the move where he was light on his feet and shown a lovely free action in profile. Very well handled.
2nd Ward-Blower’s Whitewebbs Jonny Be Good at Willowmist
A red Mini wire dachs who was finding it difficult to cooperate with his handler today. He is a nice size and shape and has a good front, sufficient neck, firm topline and good ribs.

1st Martin’s Bowdonia Go the Distance for Stalwart
I really liked this masculine fawn brindle Whippet. He is a nicey shape with a stunning head. His front is beautifully clean on the move with straight forelegs. He has lovely fine ears, an oval eye and a super outline. A quality exhibit.

1st Bailey’s Glasvey Double Trouble for Loggeta JW
This lovely Long Haired Dachshund bitch of 7 years topped a super class of Veterans. She is a shaded red, with a soft and straight coat. She is moderately long, well muscled and has lovely sloping shoulders. On the move she is a picture with super outline and is so sound.. I loved her head and expression
2nd Allchorne’s Nelgus Cinnamon Spice (Basset)
A rather lovely type of Basset who at 8 years of age is in great condition. She is tricolour and is balanced, feminine and I’ve not doubt is fit for function. Moving out she has a rather lovely reach and in profile she looked super holding her topline well. I found her head to be lovely with low set ears and correct shaped eyes.

At just 6 months of age this Miniature Wire Haired Dachshund is a nice shape and size with a andsome head. He has good coat and held his topline on the move.

I was really taken by this Golden Retriever male of 10 months. He has a handsome head with a melting expression, good neck and a super topline. He has good bone for his size and a wonderful front assembly. On the move he was so eye catching, holding his tail nicely and enjoying his day. He is beautifully presented and was handled so well.
2nd Howsam’s Melleonars Keep it Cool Branston at Jandoes (IMP) (OES)
This rather impressive OES of 11 months old presents a super picture. He is balanced, strong and stands square. He displays an impressive symmetry and was shown in perfect condition. On the move he has an excellent reach and a strong drive from behind.
3rd Sampson’s Dalstorm Just So Salsa
