1. Cokell, Nicklin and Ainsleys - Carlyquinn Winter Storm JW – bitch of almost 12 months of age. Balanced in outline, good reach of neck, ample rib for age, strong topline both stacked and on the move. Excels in rear angulation and well off for bone and muscle throughout allowing an effortless movement. BOB and BP and later Puppy Group 3 well done.

1. Gardiners - Barecho Cover Girl of Svenjak (Imp Swe) – 2 year old bitch, balanced feminine head, ample reach of neck, a tad longer cast than I would like to see.

1. Simmons - Dexbenella Frivolity – 4 year old bitch, excels in spring of rib, strong short coupled loin, well developed in rear quarters with correct rear angulation allowing drive on the move. RBOB

1. Walshs - Kenzduo Juniper at Pippaway – Black and tan dog, what a stunning head with a dark tight eye this dog has. Excels in depth of chest and spring of rib and I think has the best muscled rear quarters ive judged on an American Cocker in quite some time. Moved with drive and presented in immaculate coat and condition. A pleasure to award him BOB

2. Luczynskis - Fabelsfee Nothing But Fun for Kanara (Imp Fin) – 4 year old bitch of a slighter type to my class winner. Such a sweet feminine head, strong topline held correctly both stacked and on the move.

1. Luczynskis - Baladeva Scarlet Letters for Kanara ShCm ShCex VW (Imp Fin) – black bitch of 8 and a half years of age, another with a sweet feminine head and correct dark eye. happy girl really enjoying her time in the ring, moved well once settled RBOB

1. Smiths - Nyliram Hold My Hand at Isfryn – bitch of just 6 months of age, what a happy outgoing full of fun puppy. Gave her handler quite a challenge but it was a delight to see a puppy loving her time in the ring so much. Balanced outline, good width and depth of chest, correct reach of neck flowing into correctly placed shoulders, well off for bone throughout. Sound mover when settled. BP

1. Whitfields - Glenbrows Thought to Amberdella – 22 month old bitch, feminine in head, well off for bone throughout, ample spring of rib, excels in rear angulation and well-muscled rear quarters.

1. Smiths - Isfryn Peeping Tom JW – 7 year old dog who stole my heart today, he was every I was looking for. Strong masculine head, correct reach of neck flowing into powerful shoulders, good spring of rib, strong in loin, fabulous rear angulation and so well muscled throughout. One the move he was faultless powering around the ring effortlessly using his tail on the move, in fact his tail was a blur both on the move and stacked. A pleasure to award him BOB and delighted to watch him win a huge AV Veteran class later in the day well done!

2. Tews - Pamicks Dream With Me – bitch of a different type to my class winner but with such a lot to like and was really unfortunate to meet my class winner. Feminine head, balanced outline, good reach of neck and powerful shoulders, ample bone, strong topline both stacked and on the move. RBOB

I just want to thank the pointer exhibitors for such a fabulous entry it was an absolute pleasure to judge.

Puppy (7 entries, 0 absentees)

1. Dunns - Meadowpoint Hocus Pocus – Liver and white bitch of 9 months of age, stood out from my first look at dogs in this class and she didn’t disappoint on close inspection. Feminine head with tight eye, correct pigmentation, good reach of neck flowing smoothly into correctly placed and powerful well- muscled shoulders, excels in depth of chest and spring of rib, strong topline both stacked and on the move and to complete the picture has fabulous rear angulation again with the muscle which allowed effortless driving action on the move. One who has a bright show career ahead. BP and Puppy Group 4 well done.

2. O’Neills - Tenshilling Shboom – Black and white dog, unlucky to meet my class winner as there is lots to like about this boy, masculine in head, loved his depth of chest and another with strong well-muscled shoulders. Another who’s correct angulation allowed for effortless drive around the ring.

3. Stilgoes - Teisgol Alohomora

1. Dunns - Meadowpoint Hocus Pocus – As per puppy class winner

2. Clintons - Hawkfield Happy Feet at Oramiss – orange bitch, well developed head and dark eye, good reach of neck, ample bone and lovely tight paws. Just preferred the depth of chest and spring of rib of my class winner.

1. Bells - Brent Deville’s Advocate at Owlspoint (A.I) – Black and white dog who I have judged previously and I have to give credit to this boys owner for her perseverance to build this boys confidence in the ring as he is a different dog to when I last judged him so keep up the good work. This dog has a well developed masculine head, balanced outline, good reach of neck, correctly placed shoulders, ample spring of rib and well developed rear quarters. As for movement my notes say “moved like a bullet” with precision and drive. RBOB

2. O’Neills - Tenshilling To Sire With Love JW – Orange bitch, loved the head of this girl, excels in depth and width of chest, lovely straight front legs on tight paws, well off for muscle and bone throughout.

3. Masons - Heartbury Tormenta Over Nosam JW

1. Dunns - Cathpoint Kora at Meadowpoint – Black and white bitch of 4 years of age. Took my eye on entering the ring her exquisite outline just couldn’t be ignored. The best of heads feminine with dark tight eye. Good reach of neck, strong correctly placed shoulders, excels in width and depth of chest, the best of toplines held both stacked and on the move, correct bone and well-muscled throughout, correct angulation both fore and after allows effortless movement with correct tail set and tail carriage on the move, moved with precision and drive. Delighted to award her BOB and later went onto be Gundog Group 2 well done.

2. Olivers - Teisgol Love Is In The Air – Orange dog who was unfortunate to meet my class winner as there is much to like about him. Masculine in head with dark tight eye, strong correctly placed shoulders, well off for rib, ample bone throughout, powerful well-muscled rear quarters just preferred the topline of my class winner.

3. Philos - Sunhouse Black is Back at Saimonmist JW (A.I)
