Border Collie

Puppy - Angier & Stacey’s Bilyara Isn’t She Lovely (AI) Best Puppy. She certainly is lovely. Balanced body and a picture when stood. Her outline is spot on with the correct neck and topline. She covers the ground with ease and is mature, well-muscled and in super solid condition for her 12mths. 2nd Wettern-Bloomfield’s Alpana Summer Storm – another feminine girl who moved nicely around the ring. She was presented well and handled to get the best from her. Her dark pigment and eyes gave her a beautiful expression.

Junior 1st as puppy, 2nd Mead & Geering’s Quintopia Moth Into Flame (A) – unfortunately he wasn’t settled on the move, that said I could still see he had the required reach and drive. He had good bone and covered in a nice coat. Masculine throughout. 3rd Castle’s Jupavia Heavens Dream

Post Grad 1st and RBOB Carley’s Jupavia Silver Flame - she was presented and handled beautifully. This girl is so feminine and a lovely smooth outline with a good neck into well laid shoulders. Good topline, croup and muscled rear. She was a joy to watch on the move. 2nd Castle’s Jupavia Divine Dream, Lovely head proportions with good ears and correct bite. Nice topline. Not quite the rear movement of 1st. Presented and handled well.

Open – 1st Angier, Stacey & Seghezzi AUS Ch Wynnlake A Drop In The Ocean (AI) (IMP AUS) an immaculately presented male who stood out. Masculine and balanced throughout. Good head with broad skull. Ears of nice size and shape. Strong back, correct croup. Moved well around the ring with his easy reach and drive - BOB. 2nd Hawker Moshanta Magic Penny For Taytinja JW Feminine girl with much to like. Such a pretty expression, with good stop and nice ears. Broad rear and well-muscled thighs. She stood on tight feet and moved steadily but well around the ring.


Finnish Lapphund

Puppy – 1st Reynolds, Elbereth Van Yksi Lisaa – what a cracking youngster who appeared to really enjoy her time in the ring! Such a beautiful head, well proportion with a lovely expression and good pigment. Her ears were well set and she liked to use them. Her overall outline was balanced and this showed on the move as once settled she effortlessly covered the ground. BP

Junior – 1st Birks Pavoskas Galena – Nice outline when stood. Her chest needs to develop and she is in between coats at the moment. She moved well around the ring.

Post Grad – 1st Lock’s Pikkuihme Tahtipoly a sound girl in a smaller frame who could move around the ring with ease. Feminine head with good ear set. Nice front assembly and good depth of chest.

Open – a smashing class to judge. 1st Lee’s Ch Kaijartuu Hopea Noita JW – balanced bitch who was feminine with good bone and the required angulation. She was pleasing both stood and on the move. She had a strong short loin, slight slope to her croup and correct tail set. She was presented and handled well - BOB.  2nd Moore’s Ch Morval Salainen Haave JW another fabulous girl who certainly covered the ground with ease. Balanced body, good bone and correct angulation. She was feminine with a lovely expression. Another who’s attractive coat was presented immaculately RBOB.

Lancashire Heeler

Junior – 1st Felstead’s Foveaux Queens Gambit JW once this youngster lifted her nose from the ground she was a delight to watch move around the ring. A lovely outline both stood and on the move. She was feminine yet sturdy with correct body proportions and angulation. A smart girl who will sure to win at a higher level. BOB

Post Grad – 1st Webb’s Hoscar Isabella RBOB. A pretty girl with a good head and expression. Nice front and rear assembly which showed in her movement. Just a fraction longer cast. 2nd Cole’s Parabar Amazing Allspice, well-handled bitch who was settled on the move. Lovely in profile but just not quite the front of 1st.

Shelties

Puppy - 1st Fillery-Hammond Wavesong Born To Be Wild, a sable girl with much to like. She was graceful on the move and covered the ground with ease. She is lacking depth of chest however hopefully this will develop with her maturity. She was handled and presented beautifully BP. 2nd Fillery’s Wavesong Born to Be Noisy litter brother to 1st and larger all round. Like his sister he was lovely to watch on the move. He was masculine throughout and had a nice expression.

Junior - 1st Weller’s Evad Halloween Spice bitch RBOB, she had the sweetest of expressions and beautiful eyes. For a youngster she had it all together and moved so well around the ring. She has a lovely outline and looked the picture on the move and when stood. Coat needs to come but a minor point at her age. 2nd Fagg’s Valdosta Lionking At Lynscot another free moving dog who covered the ground well. Nice shape both stood and on the move, would just prefer a fraction more chest however he is young and this should develop, he’ll be one to watch once he’s matured.

Post Grad - 1st Clough’s Evad Lite Breeze dog BOB. This boy had much to offer. I loved his expression, with good eyes and ear placement. Pleasing outline, if being critical I would prefer a touch more neck however when challenging for BOB just thought he was the more mature dog. He moved really well around the ring at quite a good pace but showcasing that effortless movement. 2nd Fillery-Hammond’s Wavesong’s Chasing Rainbows a chap with a nice head and expression, he had a good neck into well placed shoulders, he was fit and had that rear driving action.

Open - 1st Straw’s Dukeson Laced With Magic Balanced dog with a good topline and angulation, really nice on the move just could be a moved a tad faster to really showcase that drive. Another with good head proportions. He was covered in a nice well presented coat of good quality. 2nd Riding’s Achor’s Surprise Blackberry Way For Torinska (imp che). Another with correct angulation and nice to watch on the move. Her tri coat was beautifully presented and in good condition, she really showed herself off in this class and pushed 1st hard.
