Guildford & District Canine Society, Open Show, 30th November 2024

Judge: Miss Lucinda Rhodes (Calonlan)

I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge and I was happy to step in when the original judge was no longer available. The ring was decently sized and I had a very helpful steward. As per usual, the show had a very nice atmosphere and it was a pleasure to be part of it.

Pomeranian

Puppy (2/0)

1st Yotova’s Goodpom Charming, a 7 month old orange bitch, who was very compact and short-coupled with a lively personality. Her head was correct with a foxy outline, black nose and medium bright, dark eyes. Her ears were a correct size and not set too wide apart, carried perfectly erect. Well laid back shoulders and well ribbed up for her age. Excellent coat texture and feathering. She moved with character and buoyancy and when settled was free moving throughout. Best Puppy.

2nd Clarke & Ladner’s Baromar Golden Boy, 6 month old male, very much a puppy and was full of energy throughout his time in the ring, exhibiting that lively personality that is typical of the breed. Eyes were dark and bright, ears carried erect. Medium angulation with parallel hocks.
