Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge at their show.
After a long drive North, the day started rather drizzly but soon picked up enough and made for a pleasant day. My steward Dick Morrison was superb, thank you.
Av sp. Veteran
1st Blacks Zaandam Russian Apprentice
Orange Pom so foxy in expression and feminine, keen dark eye and neat well set ears, her muzzle was good and slightly tapered to give a typical expression, short neck and well laid shoulders, her straight front was good with neat feet, she has a level topline and good ribs, her pigment is dark as required and she is dressed in a very well presented coat of harsh texture, she is so sound on the move using her well angulated rear to give some drive and she keeps her shape as she goes moving lightly and freely with that typical buoyant side action. Really impressed and later was best veteran in show.
2nd Nixon’s Pakov’s Silver Lady
7 yr cream, nice head but I’d like just a shade more muzzle, it was simply this that separated the first two here, she is good all through with good angles and level topline, short neck and neat ears.

Long coat chi, very pretty and in great condition for 10, beautiful head and expression, well placed ears , good neck and shoulders with a good front, lovely proportions being a shade longer than tall and holds a good topline, her tail is well set and carried. She moves out well and is a credit to her owner.

2nd Davidson's Ch/Am Ch Elmaraine Chasing Rainbows
Tri boy of 4 years, who I have admired many times ringside. Gorgeous in outline and clearly kept in tip top condition. He makes a nice shape although a tad more neck would complete the picture, he has a lovely head, everything correct but I would like a darker eye. He is dainty, well bodied and his bone is fine. He has the correct hare feet. His topline is good and firm, moves out well and is attentive. A real showman and a worthy Champion.
