1st Place 212 - Lux Ch Catuma Xuta Tabangwa (Imp Cze) (Mrs I Cvirkiene) Almost 2 years tricolour female who is feminine and presents a nice profile standing and is lofty and gazelle like on the move. Good body proportions, pleasing head with alert expression and strong muzzle. Nice fine bone, ideal for her size, good shape to ribbing and short backed. Moderately angled both ends, good tail set and shape and adequate width of thigh. Moved with a swift gait, true coming. BOB

1st Place 233 - Clanwillow Fire and Ice (Mrs S B & Mr K R Jones) Plenty of substance on this 11mth old male tricolour hound. Won this class on his balance and front assembly which is well laid and filled. Good head of nice proportions and the right amount of wrinkle, long ears and a kind eye, strong muzzle. Strong bone, good feet. Good body proportions, strong neck, well ribbed, good top and underlines, good tailset and carriage, well angled rear with low strong hocks. Moved well with drive. BPIB & pleased to see Hound Puppy Group 4 – well done!
2nd Place 236 - Harvidene Cuckoo in The Nest (Miss H Unett) Female of 12 months, a different type to 1 but with plenty to like about her. She is feminine and balanced, more moderately angled in front than ideal. Lovely head with kind expression, long ears and strong muzzle. Good bone, filled chest. Good body length, nice tailset, good turn of stifle. Standing a bit higher in the rear today. She moved well, holding her outline.

1st Place 232 - Houndsbay Vito Andolini (Mrs S Cooper) 2yo male who won this class on his movement and being fit for purpose. Substantially built, good bone and proportions. He has a lovely long ribcage giving good top and underlines. Bit too much skin/wrinkle on his head and skull a bit flat but he has a good strong muzzle and kind eye, long ears. Strong neck, well laid shoulder and filled chest. Good tailset, well angled rear with low hock which he used to drive on the move. RBOB.
2nd Place 235 - Switherland Gabriella at Stookewood (Mrs P A Mclean) 3yo female of nice type, and with the prettiest of heads made of good length, shape and proportions, with good long ears framing her sweet face. Well constructed shoulders, ample forechest and elbows close to body. Good length of ribbing to strong loin. Standing a bit high in the rear and I’d like to see her carrying less weight for her frame. Strong hocks, she moved true.
3rd Place 230 - Nelgus Lucky Charm (Mrs C Allchorne) – lovely type and shape with lots to like on this young female, just too timid to assess fully – I hope her confidence grows.

1st Place 234 - Clanwillow The Emerald King Jww'22 (Mrs S B & Mr K R Jones) – bicolour 3yo male of good make and shape. He scores well in front assembly and balanced angulation. Head a bit broader than ideal, but he has good ears and a strong muzzle. Lovely bone and feet, legs well under him he is a substantial boy without being cumbersome. Good length of body, well ribbed back with good top and underlines, deep well filled chest. Good Tail, strong rear with low hocks. He moved with drive, covering the ground with ease. Pleased to award him Best of Breed.
2nd Place 231 - Nelgus Thyme Flies (Mrs C Allchorne) – upstanding 4yo male of a different type to 1. Lovely head with correct domed skull, dark eye with kind expression, good nose and powerful jaws, long ears. Strong crested neck, sloping shoulders more moderate in angulation than 1, strong topline and loins. Good tailset, strong well angled rear with strong hocks. Bit over wrinkled over the forelegs and skin looking a bit red in areas today, but well-muscled and fit which is great to see. He excels on the move with a ground covering, enthusiastic stride.

Class 130. Junior, Entries: 3 Absentees: 1 – this class consisted of two lovely siblings who were hard to split. The male just had the edge today as he was more confident.
1st Place 242 - Nagshall Love for Ronnie (Mrs C Mccarthy) – 7mths old male, lovely type and full of quality. So well balanced, shown in lovely coat and condition. Handsome head, almond shaped eyes, powerful jaws and conical shaped head with excellent ears. Strong neck into well set shoulders, oval thorax which is well filled and deep, well ribbed back. Good bone and feet. Strong, well angled rear with good tailset and strong hocks. Won this class on his movement and confidence. Best Puppy In Breed.
2nd Place 241 - Nagshall Love at Risk (Mrs C Mccarthy) 7mo female, she is very pretty and a lot of the same qualities of her brother apply to her too. Well balanced, well put together, beautiful coat – she’s just learning her job and a little more unsure than her sibling. Lovely mover when she settled.

1st Place 243 - Nagshall The Odd Excuse JW (Mrs C Mccarthy) – almost 2 yo female of a lovely type and well presented. Excellent head, dark eye, powerful muzzle, good ears with excellent coat and furnishings. Strong neck, well laid shoulders, deep chest with long keel and long ribcage giving good top and underlines. Good bone and knuckled feet. Well angled rear to balance the front, strong hocks which she put to good use on the move – moving with a powerful and true easy stride. RBOB.

1st Place 239 - Nagshall Dyce The Ice JW (Mrs C Mccarthy) 2yo male who is well balanced and full of quality. He is powerful, yet elegant and shown in beautiful condition. Onical shaped head, dark almond eye, powerful jaws, good ears. Excellent bone and knuckled feet. Lovely proportions all through, good angulation front and rear, strong topline and loins, plump rear with low, strong hocks and good tail set. He moved with a proud head carriage, holding his outline and covering the ground. Pleased to award him Best Of Breed.

1st Place 247 - Normpug Roman Holiday JW (Mrs I Forge) this 17mths old b/tan male stood out to take this nice class. Loved his profile outline, he is full of balance and quality. Conical shaped head, dark almond shaped eye, powerful jaws, good ears framing his face. Strong, arched neck into a well-constructed front with excellent lay of shoulder and equal return of upper arm, well placed elbows close to body and well underneath him. Deep oval thorax, long keel and excellent shape of ribcage extending well back into a short strong loin. Excellent bone and well knuckled feet. Good tailset, plump well-muscled and well-angled rear, strong hocks. He moved true, holding his topline and covering the ground with ease. Pleased to award him Best Of Breed.
2nd Place 252 - Delandmar Miss Daisy (Mr D J & Mr M Pearmain & Sherwood) – 11 months old b/tan female, very shapely with good angulation front and rear. Pretty head, strong neck, oval well-filled thorax, deep chest, long keel, well-shaped body with strong level topline which she held on the move. Strong hocks, she moved true. Best Puppy In Breed.

1st Place 251 - Delandmar Herbert Wood (Mr D J & Mr M Pearmain & Sherwood) - 19 mths old red male who won this class on his front angulation and balance. Handsome head, with good strong jaws. Deep chest, full forechest, forelegs well under him and elbows close in to his body. Strong neck into well laid shoulders, excellent bone and feet. Strong topline, well angled rear. He moved well, with drive. RBOB.
2nd Place 253 - Veederhall Lullaby (Mrs J Revell) – 2yo b/tan female with a clean outline and nice proportions. More moderate in front than 1 and longer in the loin but she holds her topline well. Pretty head, dark eye and good ears, nice bone. Well constructed rear, with strong hocks.
3rd Place 248 - Normpug Tiger Eyes (Mrs I Forge)

1st Place 246 - Normpug Apricot Beauty (Mrs I Forge) – 2yo red female who won this class on overall shape and profile balance. Good head proportions, strong jaw and good ears. Strong neck, well-constructed front, deep well-filled oval thorax, lovely forearm bone and placement, good ribbing, strong topline and loin. Well balanced rear, strong hocks. Holding her topline standing and on the move, she covers the ground well.
2nd Place 250 - Delandmar Ella Fitzgerald (Mr D J & Mr M Pearmain & Sherwood) – 2yo red female who is also shapely and well angled. Not as settled as 1, she had a tendency to stand a little hunched at times today. Conical shaped head, strong neck, nicely laid shoulders with balanced rear angulation. Moved true.

1st Place 263 - Zoltarous Mini Kora (Mr S & Prof A Perry & Handyside) – 15 months old top size chocolate wild boar female, presenting a nice profile outline. Pretty head, dark alert eyes, strong muzzle with good dentition and nice ears framing her face. Strong crested neck, sloping shoulders with a return of upper arm and legs under her. Nice bone and good feet. Would prefer more depth of chest. Good length of body, strong topline, plump rear with is angled in balance with her front, good width of thigh and strong hocks. She moved well, with drive.

1st Place 265 - Griffindax Gin Fizz (Mrs G Stewart-Brown) - almost 2yo female who won this class on her breed type. Pretty head, dark eye, good ears. Strong neck into sloping shoulders with return of upper arm, filled forechest, good bone for size. Long body, of good depth and level topline. Well balanced rear angles, good tailset. Moved true. RBOB, daughter of BOB I see.
2nd Place 267 - Ashlawn Love Me Do (Mr R & Mrs E Talor & Taylor) – just 3 years old, this male was shown in good coat and condition with excellent furnishings. Handsome head, kind dark eye and impressive beard. Strong neck, sloping shoulders and strong bone. Strong topline, I’d prefer a more gradual underline and more angles front and rear. Moved true.

1st Place 266 - Pennywave Pink Gin (Mrs G Stewart-Brown) - 5 yrs female of good shape and balance, shown in good coat and condition. Pretty head, dark eye, strong neck, sloping shoulders, return of upper arm and filled forechest. Deep chest, legs under her. Strong topline, good tailset, balanced rear angles. Moved well. Best Of Breed.

1st Place 269 - Boloria Oh Darling (Misses R & R Howlett & Rowe) – this stunning 8 months old female is the one I’d happily take home today, she is excellent all through and hard to fault. I judged her as a baby puppy and she has developed how I had hoped she would. Excellent head, dark eye, good ears, powerful muzzle, long clean, muscular neck into the best of fronts, deep and capacious chest with ample heart and lung room. Ideal bone and knuckled feet, forelegs well underneath her body with ideally placed elbows. Beautifully long keel and long ribcage giving excellent lines to her body. Plum, well angulated rear with excellent hocks. She can cover the ground! BPIB & RBOB and delighted to see she took HPG3, congrats!

1st Place 271 - Boloria Goodnight Mr Tom JW (Mrs J & Miss R Rowe) Another beautiful example from this kennel, 17mths old male who is beautifully balanced and maturing nicely. Excellent proportions all through. Handsome head, the darkest eyes, strong muzzle, good ears, shown in great condition with good harsh coat with all the furnishings. Excellent bone, ideally placed elbows and a well filled chest. Strong, crested neck into excellent forehand. Long ribcage, strong topline, gradual underline, strong loin. Excellent width and strength of rear with well turned stifle and low, hocks. He’s a powerhouse on the move, pleased to award him Best Of Breed and see he also took HG2, well done!

A lovely stakes class, filled with lots of variety and quality – many good dogs went unplaced.
1st Place 119 - Holbam Midsummer Knight at Ruffmar (ai) JW, Breed: Irish Terrier (Miss M Ruffles) 2yo male who took my eye as he walked in and kept drawing me to him throughout the class. Loved his athletic profile outline, he has so much quality and substance yet is not overdone. Lovely head of good proportions, dark alert eyes giving an alert and mischievous expression, good ears set and carried well, powerful muzzle. He stands on good bone, perfectly straight forelegs and good feet. Strong, clean neck blending smoothly into well set shoulders, deep chest and nice spring of rib, good length of body with strong loins. Strong rear with good angulation, balancing the front. Good tailset and high carriage. Shown in a wiry, harsh coat. He moved really well in all directions, straight and true and efficient.
2nd Place 143 - Tulawyn Garretson by Onthill, Breed: Border Terrier (Mr R & Mrs A Ramus) – a well-balanced 3yo boy who is full of quality and clearly fit for purpose with nothing exaggerated. Otter shaped head, dark keen eyes, good ears well carried, powerful jaws with good dentition. Straight forelegs of quality bone and good feet, shoulders well laid with good return of upper arm. Good shape and width of ribcage, extending well back into strong loins. Well-constructed rear to balance his front angles. Well set tail of moderate length and carried nicely. He moved so soundly, straight and true and covering the ground with ease.
3rd Place 391 - Hafwenna Honey Pie, Breed: Dalmatian (Miss A & Mr A Pattington & Blomfield) – an eye catching 3 yo female, loved her front construction and forechest – she has a beautiful profile outline.
Reserve (4th Place) 306 - Kiromol Tip Toe and Go (ai), Breed: Rhodesian Ridgeback (Mr P, Mrs E & Mrs L Storey & Piehl) – a well balanced 5yo female with nothing to hide and lots to like. She comes into her own on the move with a long free stride.
Very Highly Commended (5th Place) 710 - Cobhay Fancy Phlox, Breed: Spaniel (English Springer) (Mrs J, Mrs D & Miss P Williams & Toublic) - 6yo female who is compact, well balanced and moved really well, with reach and drive.
