1st 166. Miss Lorraine Lees’ Bonaforte’s Beautiful Dawn - Pretty female, very raw as you’d expect at this age. Good head proportions, dark eye and good ears. Long neck, moderately laid shoulders, good feet. Good length of body, chest needs to drop as she matures. Strong top line and loin, nicely angulated rear with. Low, strong hock. Moved freely. Best Puppy in Breed.

1st – 200. Maura Lyons’ Malinkey’s Angelica - Balanced female who has matured beautifully since I last judged her, coming into her own with good size and balanced profile. Lovely head with good planes and proportions, dark eye with kind expression and strong jaws. Powerful neck, set nicely into a well-constructed forehand with well laid shoulders and good return of upper arm. Elbows close to body with excellent bone and feet. Well filled, deep forechest with good spring of rib giving ample heart room. Lovely shape to her long ribcage, extending well back into a strong loin. Lovely top and underlines, excellent tail set and well angled rear with good width of thigh and low hocks. I’d like to see a little more width behind when going as she continues to mature, but she moves true coming, with an easy gait in profile covering the ground. Shown in lovely coat and condition. Pleased to award her Best of Breed.

1st Mrs Fiona Buchanan’s CH Tarmachan Clootie Dumpling – beautiful and feminine 2 year old bitch of great quality. So well balanced, and typical for the breed. Good head shape and strong muzzle well covered with beard, kind dark eye with intelligent expression and long eyebrows. Long, low set, fine ears. She has lovely proportions, and presents an excellent profile shape when standing and holds her shape on the move. Strong reach of neck into beautiful front assembly, good bone and feet. Excellent length, depth and spring of ribcage, strong short loin and well-muscled, well angulated rear. Good tailset and carriage, strong low hocks which she put to good use powering around the ring. Best of Breed.

2nd 168. Mrs Fiona Buchanan’s Tarmachan Tre Valli – I loved this 10 month old male, he is one to watch for the future for sure! Handsome head, correct eye, ears and coat. Perfectly parallel forelegs with quality bone, underneath him with elbows close to body. Clean neck and shoulders, good return of upper arm. Excellent body length and shape, strong topline, good tailset, moderately turned stifle, low strong hock. He moved very well, so true and accurate. Best Puppy in breed and also featuring in the Group, congratulations!

1st 170. Miss A&A Kirkwood-Emery’s Marvale Rosefinch at Helydon – Pretty 11 months old female. Love her head proportions, strong muzzle with clean lips, good ears framing her face, kind dark almond shaped eye. Her front is beautifully put together and well angulated, forelegs supporting her chest with quality bone, and good feet. Ample heart room and long keel extending well back, strong topline and good underline. She’s taken a bit of a stretch and standing a bit higher in the rear at the moment. Plump, well muscled rear with balanced angulation. Moved well, with reach and drive. Best of Breed & Best Puppy in Breed, and I believe she later took the Puppy Group – congratulations!

1st 208 Mr Gordon Kirkwood Helydon Vexy Vixen 14 months old female of excellent size and type and maturing beautifully. Classic head of good proportions, dark almond shaped eyes and strong muzzle with beard, good earset. Good harsh coat and excellent muscular condition. Clean neck, well constructed front, and nicely shaped deep ribcage extending well back. Strong, short loin, good tailset and nicely angled rear with strong hocks, good bone and feet. She moved very well, true with good reach and drive. Best Of Breed.

1st 210 Swanson, Mr & Mrs, Ian & Laura & Mr J Morgan and Miss A Morton Lauralee Lannister at Cotherstone Very handsome 2 year old male with lovely balance and outline. Excellent head of good proportions, attractive eye and expression and good ears, strong muzzle. Excellent oval shaped, full and deep forechest, forelegs nicely placed and of quality bone, good feet, elbows well placed. Long ribcage, with strong topline and gradual underline, short strong loin, plump well-muscled rear with balanced angulation and strong hocks. Moved very well in all directions, holding his shape. Best of Breed.

2nd 209 Swanson, Mr & Mrs, Ian & Laura Cotherstone Royal Portrait Via Altimarlach 6 year old bitch of nice type, lovely head of excellent proportions, strong muzzle and good ears, dark eye. Long clean neck, excellent forechest which is deep and voluminous, long body with gradual underline, well turned stifle and strong hocks. She moved well for her junior handler, who did a great job with her. Well done.

1st 171 Mr Colin McGavigan Pettigans Veni Vidi Vici Beautiful 9 months old female with lovely balance and outline. Beautiful head of correct proportions and strong jaws, dark almond eyes with intelligent expression and good ears. Shown in excellent coat and condition. Strong neck into excellent front assembly, deep chest and ribbing extending well back into short, strong loin. Good length to height proportions, strong topline, gradual underline. Strong rear with good angulation, good tailset, low strong hock. Moved true holding topline and covering the ground with an easy stride. Best of Breed.

1st 212 Christie, Mr Colin & Mrs Emma Christie Tannahill Bergen at Decalleigh Handsome, mature 6 year old male who is well balanced and has good proportions throughout. Loved his profile outline when standing, and his head with good eyes, ears, dentition and strong muzzle. Shown in excellent harsh coat with beard and furnishings. Long, strong neck into well constructed, well angulated front, deep chest, good bone and feet. Good length of body, strong topline and loin. Good tailset, excellent width of thigh and low, strong hocks. Moved very well in all directions, well handled. Best of Breed.

2nd 173 Christie, Mr Colin & Mrs Emma Christie Cloudside Valentino at Decalleigh 14 months old male of a finer type then 1 with lots to like about him. He presents a good profile outline, nice head, good ears, clean neck, nicely constructed shoulders, legs well under him and good bone and feet. Good length and depth of body, plump well angled rear. Moved well.
