Thank you to the society for the invitation to this well-run show and the lovely thank you card. Thank you to the steward for the smooth running of the ring, and finally, thanks to the exhibitors who came out, it was a small, but quality entry, with no absentees.

Puppy 2 (0)

Two very promising youngsters here.

1. Jones’ Gwendariff Rhianna 11-month-old bitch who holds a lovely dark eye, paired with a melting expression. Excellent feel to her sternum, with well-filled forechest and straight front, complete with fab little tight feet. Well-sprung ribs, carrying just the right amount of weight. Lovely width to her quarters. Moved well for a baby once settled, showing lovely rear extension in profile, although I would like to see more tail action as she develops on. Dark colour to her coat with great texture. BP.

2. Thomas’ Gwendariff Ur On Camera (IKC) A younger, 7-month-old dog with much to like. Very balanced dog in stack. Elegant head with good stop and correct finish to his muzzle. Low-set ears in neat tidy fold. Needs to fill out in front as he develops on, but his well-laid back shoulders fit cleanly into his gently sloping topline with well-set tail. Well-sprung ribs but I wouldn’t want to see him carrying much more weight. Lovely width to first and second thigh, with strong hocks. He moved so very well for one so young, complete with lashing tail.

1. Jones’ Gwendariff Rhianna Repeat of 1st in puppy.

1. Webb’s Alolfrana Whole Lotta Love With Redeshka One I have judged as a puppy and I liked her then. Such an elegant and pretty bitch in stack. She possesses a dark eye, with raised brows, showing good stop, complete with lovely chiselling and work to her foreface. Lovely moderate neck flows into well-laid-back shoulders, with just enough forechest. Straight front and tight, arched feet. Balanced angles fore and aft. Excellent width to her quarters. She was presented well and in lovely bloom. Her movement was steady and true, would just like her to use her tail a tad more. She just needs to body up now as she matures, BOB.

2. Jones’ Penclippin Celtic Aria Pretty bitch with warm brown eyes, still giving a soft expression. She needs more fill in front, but she has well-laid-back shoulders that fit cleaning into her gently sloping topline, just slightly steep in croup with a well-set tail. Strong quarters with ample width, and short hock to heel. She just needs a little more feathering to complete the picture in stack. Moved ok, but she was a little unsettled today.

1. Webb’s Alolfrana Azzaro Beside Redeshka A dog I have judged before in a hotly contested class, where his handler was a little flustered with back-to-back classes, so lovely to see him at one with his handler today. Gorgeous headpiece on this dog, plenty of stop, yet still giving a soft, gentle expression, with excellent chiselling to his foreface and correct, almost square, finish to his muzzle. Strong sternum with ample forechest. Straight front and tight, arched feet. Balanced angles fore and aft, not exaggerated, all in moderation. Firm loin and lovely finish to his croup, just a little proud of his tail today. Very tidy mover. Just pipped to the post for BOB, could not match the enthusiasm of the young bitch today. RBOB.
