Open Dog (1 entry no abs)

1st Roper Mr I J. Catnnels Inside Story For Brensham SGWC.

This boy stood alone in this class, my notes say I liked him a lot and he was worthy of a first place, evidence of this, is the fact he came back in Veteran and won the class.

He is a well bodied gold boy with a lovely wavy coat, he has a male head of good proportions with kind dark eyes and good pigment. He is well angled fore and aft with a level topline and correct tailset held on the move. His movement is sound with good rear driving action. He belies his age at almost 9 years and I was surprised given his excellent condition and powerful movement to see him return to take the Veteran class. A true dual-purpose Golden.

Open Bitch (1 entry no abs)

1st Pett Mr I & Mrs M. Rumwood Three Times A Lady

A beautifully presented pale coated girl who also stood alone in her class, but again a worthy winner of a first place. She has a lovely female head with dark eyes and pigment. Her neck is of a good length into well laid-back shoulders, a good depth of chest and well ribbed. She is short coupled with a level topline, well angulated fore and aft. She moved out well with a nice forward reach and rear drive.

A pale coated boy shown to perfection in the most amazing profuse coat, he has a lovely masculine head with the most melting expression dark eyes and lovely dark pigment which has not faded with age, whilst writing his critique I could not believe it when his owner told me he is 10 years old, he is an absolute credit to her. He is well angled with a firm topline correct tailset all held on the move, his movement was sound with excellent driving action.

Sometimes you find a dog that has missed out on top honours in his younger years and this boy is one. 3rd Mrs A Stallard Maplerose All Tuckered Out
