AVNSC Utility
Puppy (5)
1.Webb’s Beaconpride Juniper Berry at Chifido. Gorgeous Chow Chow baby, compact and balanced with good topline, well developed chest and ribbing for age, correct length of leg and angulation. Lovely head with typical scowling expression, nice eyes and good pigment. Moved with a pendulum action, in good coat and condition. I thought she was a delight. Best AVNSC Utility Puppy, Puppy Group 1 and later 3rd BPIS.
2.Nicholls’ Mamoru Girl’s Best Friend for Shyllar (IKC) 9month old Akita of good balance and substance. Broad head with correctly set ears, defined stop, strong muzzle and tight lips. Crested neck into good shoulders, deep chest, strong loin and good rear assembly. Powerful on the move but wasn’t as settled as 1.
3.Manners’ Roopec Keep Up With Me
Junior (2)
1.Nicholls’ Izlou Muffin Compares For Shyllar. 11month Mittel with wedge shaped head, dark eyes and correct length of muzzle. Level topline with tail set and carried correctly, good ribbing and substance. Moved with a brisk action, a little close moving away.
2.Manners’ Roopec Just One More. Another puppy, this a 6month Schipperke who i really liked but she just wasn’t very happy on the table so ruined her chances. However, her quality is obvious and she moved so well, at only 6 months she’s still learning the ropes and I’m sure with more experience she’ll do very well.
Post Grad (2)
1.Stevenson’s Alisiane Eyes On The Prize. Well presented and handled Standard poodle with good front and rear assembly, nice chest and ribbing, strong loin and correct topline. Handsome head, dark almond shaped eyes, tight lips and strong jaw. Moved freely and accurately.
2.Hladkyj’s Tempete Albert Du Royaume Des Terres Gelees. 2yr Eurasier with lovely head and expression, nice eyes, furrow and well tapered muzzle. Moderate front and rear angulation, could be longer in body for correct balance. Moved soundly.
Open (6,1) Lovely class.
1.James’s Aprika Fifth Avenue JW. Very smart Boston Terrier who I judged as puppy and has matured well. Compact with super balance of outline, firm topline, straight front, well angulated rear, good chest and ribbing and well muscled throughout. Correctly shaped, feminine head with kind expression from her round dark eyes, ears set and used well, correct width and depth of muzzle and broad jaw. Super on the move, circling the ring with purpose and style holding her outline firm. Handled well, presented in lustrous coat and super condition. Topped the best class of the day, then Best AVNSC Utility and later Group 2.
2.Dickson’s Cheechako Miss Mouse in Bernavia. Very attentive (and vocal!) Japanese Spitz with a correctly balanced outline, arched neck, moderate front and rear angulation, firm topline, well sprung ribs and tail set and carried correctly. Pretty head of good proportions, wedge shaped with well tapered muzzle and dense pigment. Moved with a brisk action, accurate in all directions. Presented in immaculate white coat. Reserve best AVNSC Utility.
3.Douse’s Ch. Shasadee’s Dhimond Dolla
AV Imp Reg Utility
Sp. Yearling (3,2)
1.Spry, Balode & Emerson’s Tamoanchan Xareni Bel/Lux Jch. Well constructed Xolo, athletically built with lovely skin. Long arched neck, good front assembly, level back, good chest and ribbing and strong rear. Correctly shaped head of good balance with alert expression. Moved well out and back and soundly in profile just wasn’t quite settled enough to really make the most of herself which was a shame.
Open (4,3)
1.Spry’s Bel/Lux Ch. Roltamshe Skye. Another Xolo, more confident than her kennel mate and so had the better action in profile and held her outline well. Equally as soundly constructed and with lovely skin in super condition. Correctly shaped head with fine ears, strong jaw, good planes, eyes could be a touch darker. Best Utility Imp Reg, Group 4.
Dalmatian
Puppy (1)
1.Sampson’s Dalstorm Just So Salsa. 11month well spotted Liver bitch. Good neck into decent shoulders, topline needs to firm, good chest and ribbing for age, good bone and feet. Pleasing head and expression with nice eyes, well set and used ears, strong jaw and clean lips. Moved soundly covering the ground well. BP, Puppy Group 4.
Junior (2)
1.Sampson’s D. Just So Salsa
2.Hodgkins’ Dalmadally In The Ballroom. Very masculine black with nice attitude. Strongly built with good bone, deep chest and well sprung ribs. Broad head with flat skull and powerful muzzle, could have darker eyes. Moved happily but a little proud of his tail.
Post Grad (3)
1.Barnett’s Salvadorada Happy Go Lucky. Feminine black spotted bitch who won here on her more accurate movement. Strong neck into decent shoulders and topline, good depth of chest and spring of rib, well angulated rear and good feet. Pretty head with soft expression, dark eyes, well balanced length of muzzle and well set and used ears. In lovely condition and glossy coat, moved with a rhythmic action holding her outline well. BOB.
2.Tysterman’s Carodal Jacobs Ladder. 3yr well spotted liver bitch who was close up to 1. Feminine and elegant with lovely neck, well balanced length of body, good bone and feet, not quite as good as 1 in front. Lovely head and expression, good length with correctly balanced muzzle, moderate stop and bright eyes. Moved well in profile covering the ground easily. RBOB.
3.Wallington’s dallyador Secret Passion For Rovinjdal JW
Open (1)
1.Penn’s Dalfellin Agape at Dalarisa. Black spotted bitch who was very attentive to her handler. Elegant in outline with good reach of neck, decent shoulders, good ribbing, strong loin and well muscled rear. Feminine head with alert expression. Moved well but topline could be firmer, I understand she’d had a litter just a few months earlier so probably isn’t back at her best yet!
French Bulldog
Puppy (1)
1.Saunby’s Rowendale Love Bug. Very cute 6month baby of good substance. Compact and sturdy with straight front, good topline, well sprung ribs and moderately angulated rear. Well shaped head with good ears, good nostrils and dark round eyes. Moved confidently. BOB, BP.
Miniature Schnauzer
This was a really lovely entry.
Puppy (3,1)
1.McDonald’s Risepark First Lady of Heibri. 6month baby who was very well schooled for one so young. Lovely head of good length with neat ears, medium stop and dark eyes. Strong neck into decent shoulders, good chest and ribbing for her young age firm topline and well angulated rear. Moved well holding her outline firm, just a little close behind at the moment. BP, Puppy Group 3.
2.Joan’s Penbro Precocious. Another 6 month old, at her first show and not quite as together as 1. Compact with good substance, good topline and well angulated rear. Pretty head with nice eyes, strong muzzle and neat ears. Moved well in profile, needs to firm up in front.
Junior (1)
1.Dawson’s Gryselda Step In Time. Impressive 14 month male of good size and shape in super harsh jacket presented beautifully. Sturdy and squarely built with good topline, strong neck, could have a little more upper arm, good spring of rib, short loin and strong rear. Strong masculine head, good width between high set ears, powerful muzzle and tight lips. Moved very smartly holding his outline firm. Close up in the challenge.
Post Grad (3,1)
1.Johnson’s Marnimica Seven Wonders. 18month dog who wasn’t always standing to an advantage but had the better reach and drive and front assembly. Sound construction with good chest and ribbing, short loin, good substance and super tailset. Nice head with keen expression. Moved accurately in all directions covering the ground well.
2.Whitcombe’s Arkangath Zola Bud. Feminine 2yr old with a pretty head of good length, dark eyes and neat ears. Ample reach of neck, balanced front and rear angulation, well sprung ribs and high set tail. Moved happily but not with the accuracy and length of stride of 1.
Open (3)
1.Parker & McDonald’s Ch. Violis Stormy Skies JW. Superb 2yr old who I judged at just a year old in some stakes and even then she appealed greatly and topped both her classes! Here she was unbeatable, showing herself off to perfection, presented in pristine condition and super harsh coat. Sturdy and squarely built with good reach of neck, straight front, good topline and short loin. Good chest and ribbing, well constructed and well muscled rear. Beautiful head and keen expression with good width between neat ears, dark eyes, powerful muzzle and tight lips. Outmoved the rest of the entry with her super reach and drive, accuracy out and back and smart, balanced outline that she maintained at all times. Handled to an advantage to take BOB and later Group 1, delighted to hear she ended the day with RBIS.
2.Parker & McDonald’s Violis Wait N’See Shcex. Another nice one from this kennel who’s overall balance and construction was impressive. Lovely size and substance, squarely built with balanced front and rear angulation, good spring of rib, short loin and carrying a quality harsh coat. Handsome head of good length with strong jaw and muzzle, dark eyes and well muscled cheeks. Sound and purposeful on the move, not quite as good out and back as 1 but of obvious quality I called him back and awarded him RBOB.
3.Johnson’s Silversocks Synchronised at Marnimica
Tibetan Spaniel
Puppy (4,1)
1.Short’s Malia Mistletoe Kisses. What a poppet, and a naughty one at that! Absolutely adorable 7 month old who’s quality is plain to see, even when she was giving her handler a hard time. Beautiful head and expression, dense pigment, gorgeous dark eyes, well cushioned muzzle and good chin. Impressive front assembly, firm topline, well balanced length of body and strong rear. Moved with a positive, effortless action...when she was concentrating, and her temperament is a delight. No doubt a future champion and if she’d just got her mind on the job in hand she could have topped the puppy group but had to settle for BP and Puppy Group 2. I will be interested to see her as she matures.
2.Brandrick’s Gianni Itspetticoattayles among Lillinca. Another really sweet baby who had equally as nice a head and expression, sound construction and good substance for her size. Not quite as good as 1 in front at present but at just 6 months old she made a very good account of herself and has plenty of potential.
3.Leak’s Malia Mistletoe Memories Mit Madire
Post Grad (5,1)
1.Leak’s Velrok Razina of Madire. Ultra feminine but could do with carrying just a touch more weight. Balanced outline with good front, strong neck, good topline and moderately angulated rear. Small, slightly domed head with defined stop and blunt muzzle. Moved with a positive, free action, lovely coming, a little close away but holding her outline firm in profile and seemed more on her toes than 2.
2.Collett’s Velrok Ringing Gold JW. Litter brother to 1 and he is as masculine as she is feminine but still retaining a soft expression with lovely dark eyes and dense pigment. Soundly constructed with good topline and tail carriage, well sprung ribs and good coat. Moved well.
3.Wallis-Baga's Kavarnagh Star of Jabir
Open (8,3)
1.Short’s Malia Eclipse JW. 9yr old in quite superb condition, I found it hard to believe she was a veteran! Beautiful feminine head with such an appealing expression from her dark, oval eyes. Well balanced length of muzzle, well cushioned and blunt with good depth and width of chin. Short neck into good shoulders, super topline, good ribbing and strong rear with tail set and carried correctly. Just enough coat to enhance her well balanced outline and plenty of substance for her size. She moved with such accuracy and purpose, holding her outline firm and obviously eager to please her handler. I was very surprised to see she hasn’t got her title. BOB, Group 3.
2.Brandrick’s Yllastel One Last Dance to Lillinca. Another nice one, nearly 6 years old and in the correct amount of coat. A little shorter in length than 1 with good topline, balanced front and rear angulation, good spring of rib and moderate bone. Sweet head of moderate width, shorter in muzzle than 1 with good chin. Her profile movement was super and she was very accurate out and back. Didn’t hesitate to call her back to award her RBOB.
3.Wallis-Baga's Velrok Rafina
Av Utility
Puppy (4,3)
1.Manners’ Roopec Keep Up With Me. Schipperke who was previously 3rd in Avnsc. A real baby of good balance with smart outline, strong neck, firm topline, good bone and feet. Flat skull with fine muzzle and dark expressive eyes. Moved with a brisk action and carrying a dense black coat.
Junior (3,1)
1.Dawson’s G. Step In Time
2.Manners’ Roopec Just One More
Veteran (6,1)
1.Manners’ Ch. Chadbower Nevaeh Lahetti. 7yr Schipperke. Small and cobby with broad chest, short level back, rounded rear, well muscled with hocks well let down. Broad, flat skull with balanced length of muzzle, dark eyes with good fill beneath and strong ears. Moved with a short, brisk stride, alert and attentive and in great condition. Best Utility Veteran and later 4th BVIS.
2.Clare’s Benoleo Brasilla VW. Very sweet Chow Chow, unlucky to meet 1. At 9 years old she still looks superb, compact with plenty of substance, deep chest and good ribbing, firm topline, short loin and correct rear assembly with tail set and carried well. Nice head qualities with super pigment, clean eyes, broad muzzle and neat ears used well to give a typical scowling expression. Moved with a free, pendulum action, totally attentive to her handler.
