Terriers

Bull Terrier.

Puppy 2. 1. Wright’s Rightstuff Pandora. 9 months old bitch. Dark eye set in well-rounded head with dark Roman Nos. Straight front with well set shoulders. Deep chest and sufficient angulation. Moved true. BP and BOB. 2. Mills’ Rightstuff Black Knight. Litter brother to one. Same comments apply but was unable to cope with the uneven ground when moving. RBOB.

Junior 1. Wrights Rightstuff Mythical Star. 10 months old bitch. Level topline with laid back shoulders and straight front. Strong body and bone. Almond shaped dark eye. Strode out but very unsteady.

Open. 1. Rightstuff Black Knight.

Dandie Dinmont.

Puppy 1. Poole’s Dryfevalley Matilda. 11 months bitch. Mustard coated with correct head shape and dark eye. Coat needs to mature a bit more. Proportionately built. Moved straight but lost balance on the ground. BP and PG3.

Open 4(1a). 1. Poole’s Hawkesmill Merlon for Redgreet. Dog. Lot’s to like with correct head shape and dark eye. Scissor bite. Laid back shoulders helped set off the low body and correct topline. Moved well on the uneven ground. BOB 2. Rushton’s Mishahda Fell in Love. Mustard coated bitch with correct head, bite and dark eye. Again, had the low set body with a good lay of shoulder. Unsteady on the move as didn’t deal with the ground as well as 1. RBB.

Jack Russell Terrier.

Puppy. 2. 1. Ryan’s Saredon in the Limelight. 8 months dog. Lovely outline with a proportionate head, dark eye, scissor bite. Elegant neck led to level topline and lay of shoulder. Strong rear, good bone. Balanced on the move with drive. BP. RBOB. TPG1. RBPIS. Congratulations. 2. Jones’ Foot Trimming Teddy. 10 months dog. Most of the above applies to this young man but he is of a finer build. Moved OK but without the purpose of 1.

Post Graduate. 2. 1 Addoo’s Reulmill Floss Lass. Bitch. Typical of the type with the reach of neck, straight topline and expressive head. Muscular at the rear and a balanced mover. Dark eye, scissor bite and set on ears. 2. Bell and Barkers Chandlimore Gambit Balintyne. Dog. A nice example of the breed when assessed but unsettled and could not handle the surface when moving.

Open. 1. 1 Addoo’s Reulmil Quacajack. Dog. Showed more colour than the others. Lovely head ,proportions and my attention was called to the small triangular well set ears. dark eye, correct bite. Length of neck led to level topline. Tail well set on and body angulated. Angulated, muscular and moved true with purpose.

Sky Terrier.

Post Graduate. 1. Cox’s Silverbriar Imogen of Pettipaws. Bitch. Balanced with a femine well coated head.Dark eye. Level topline held on the move with laid back shoulders and sufficient angulation. Moved freely but would have preferred a little stronger pigment. Open. 4(1a). 1. Heath’s Ch Lavauxs Bahamian Chris. Dog. Stuck out on entering the ring. Dark coat which was well presented. Expressive head with good pigment. Reach of neck led to a level topline which was solid on the move. Laid back shoulders and well angulated. Balanced and proportionate. BOB. TG3. 2. Leie’s Verumamicus Cicero with Castrumskye. Dog. Another quality dog with excellent proportions. Dark eye, keen proportionate head, level topline and moved true. RBB.

AVNSC Terrier.

Open. 2. 1. Cox’s Wyeafon Illusion in Ember at Petitpaws. Australian Terrier Bitch. Typical Aussie with the correct prick ears, dark eye and powerful jaws. Length of neck led to well laid shoulders, level topline, set on tail and good angulation. Balanced on the move. BOB. 2. Gellatley and Birds Ch. Millingford Hudson. Scottish Terrier Dog. Another typical of its breed. Dark harsh coat, strong well pigmented head with alert expressive ears. strong muscular body and rear. Had the reach and drive but unsteady. RBB.

AV Veteran.

5. (2a). 1. Heath’s Perrylands Hello Again. 8-year-old Skye Bitch. Pale coat and very pretty head with well carried ears. Reach of neck led to laid back shoulders and level topline. Angulated. Balanced and straight on the move. BV and went on to BVIS. Well done. 2. Jones’ Saffini Suga Pie Honey Bunch. 8-year-old SCWT Bitch. Lovely wheaten coat of soft texture with correct wave. Reasonable reach of neck and level topline. Angulated. Moved well but not the presence of 1.

Terrier Group

1). Border Terrier. 2). Jack Russell Terrier. 3). Skye Terrier. 4). Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier.

Puppy Group.

1). Jack Russell Terrier. 2). Border Terrier. 3). Dandie Dinmont Terrier. 4). Bull Terrier.
