British Bolognese Club

Thank you to the Officers and committee of the British Bolognese Club for inviting me to Judge this beautiful breed, and to all the exhibitors who so kindly gave me support with the entries and who took my placings with grace. I found some lovely exhibits and was very happy with all my main winners..

MPD:   1st Mcardell’s, Little White Wonder Jaguar At Phendelle (Imp NLD). Just 6 months old, this little boy put up a good show, head developing nicely with dark round eyes giving soft expression, needs to develop more in body but this will come with maturity but pleasing to go over, coat fronding coming in nicely, moved steady enjoying himself. BPD. RBD

JD:   1st Whateley’s, Arkadian Alfredo Ferrari. A nice balanced head with flat skull and of good width, lovely dark round eyes with good pigmentation including black nose and pads. Moderate length of neck into good lay of shoulder, good spring of rib and correct bend of stifle. Would prefer him to be a little shorter in back, coat of good texture, moved well both ways.

OD:   1st Whateley’s, Lyckalotte Enzo Ferrari At Arkadian. A well developed Male of good breed type and of of nice size, a lovely head of correct proportions with dark round eyes and excellent pigmentation, ample bone, enough neck into a well laid shoulder, correct front construction and a good spring of rib under a coat of good texture and with excellent fronding, moved with purpose holding a good level topline and correct tail carriage. BD. RBIS

VD:   1st Walker’s, Aemillia’s Roberto. An 8 year old male of good breed type, head nicely balanced with good pigmentation, enough neck and good bone, moved OK away and back

BPB: 1st Mcardell’s, Little White Wonder Keisha At Phendelle (Imp NLD). A pretty little girl enjoying her first outing as a baby puppy, head developing nicely with a twinkling round dark eye and cheeky expression, pleasing to good over, coat fronding coming on nicely, moved OK enjoying herself, will watch her future with interest. BBIS

PB:   1st Walker’s, Aemilia’s Snowdrop. A 9 month old baby with a pretty feminine balanced head, dark well pigmented eyes and a well set ear, just needs a little more substance and forechest but this willing come with age, good coat texture and colour, moved soundly both ways. BPB. BPIS

PGB:   1st Mcardell’s, Phendelle Phyllis Eida. A nicely balanced bitch of good breed type and of correct size, short level back, scored here over 2 for square body when viewed on profile, in lovely correct textured coat with excellent fronding, moved freely with style.

2nd: Hopkin’s, Lyckalotte Elegante Athena. A young bitch of 2 years,still a little immature but has a pretty feminine head with large round dark eyes and soft expression, enough neck and good lay of shoulder, a little long in loin which spoils the overall picture, moved steady but true.

LB:   1st Fabian’s, Tumbril That’s The Ticket. A nice bitch of good type and size, head well balanced with flat skull, eyes round, dark and well pigmented, enough neck into a well laid shoulder placement, good bone and well ribbed, lacked coat today which spoilt the overall picture but scored over 2 for overall balance. moved well.

2nd: Whateley’s, Belstown Beloved Aimee At Arkadian. Nice for size with pleasing balanced head and expression, well sprung ribs and good angles, would like a little more coat to complete the picture, moved OK, steady and true.

OB:   1st Mcardell’s, Phendelle Eida Avril May, this was the star of the day for me, had everything I was looking for, short, square and looked a picture stood in profile. A pretty feminine head,correctly balanced with good width of flat skull, dark round eyes with appealing expression, excellent pigmentation with black nose and pads.A moderate length of neck into a well laid shoulder, good straight front with adequate bone, a super fronded correct textured coat covered a compact body, a good topline was held on the move carrying a correctly placed tail. BB. BIS

2nd: Hopkin’s, Enjanicka Toscana Ti Adoro. Another pretty bitch a good size with a nice head, would like her with a little more width to skull, good forechest and bone, moved OK but not the overall balance of the winner.

VB:   1st Whateley’s, Arkadian Beloved Diana,it’s lovely to see the oldies enjoying their day, A nice bitch of type with a pleasing outline and still moves true with purpose. BVIS
