Welsh Springer Spaniels. Thank you to the exhibitors for the entry.

Puppy 1 :1st Barkley’s Jacranella Galahad of Cherryheath 11 months old young man well boned, well coated and well bodied for age. Masculine balanced head with dark eyes, well defined stop. Strong muscular neck, good depth of rib, well-muscled rear. Held outline on the move, moved steadily. Best Puppy in Breed.

Post Graduate 2: 1st Naunton’s Trenzalore’s Princes Leia, 20 months. Very feminine young lady with a soft sweet expression, good length of neck leading into a nice lay of shoulder and upper arm with good depth of rib. Balanced outline in profile which she held on the move. Lovely rich red & white coat. 2nd Naunton’s Trenzalore’s Bill Potts, 19-month-old girl with a well-balanced feminine head which I preferred to first, sweet expression. Good depth of rib and forechest, short loin and well bodied for age. Unsettled on the move at times but covered the ground well. Like her kennel mate lovely rich red & white coat.

Open 4 (1): 1st Jones Trosley Tamoshanta, almost 4 years old male, masculine balanced head with kind expression, nicely boned, good length of neck, good depth of ribs and forechest. Moved with drive from well-muscled hindquarters. Best of Breed. 2nd Tubbs Slapestones Tidal Wave for Alatsu, almost 9-year-old male shown in lovely coat and condition. Masculine head with a soft expression, super depth of rib and brisket with plenty of forechest, Short in loin and moved out very well with drive with good width to hindquarters. Close decision between first just lost out as would like more definition of stop. Reserve Best of Breed. 3rd Barkley’s Cherryheath Mr Mojito.

Puppy 1 : 1st Searles Rommy De Ubbadat (imp Esp) I really liked this puppy, initially on entering the ring unsettled by the tannoy, however in the challenge she was much more settled. 11 months old brown and white, full of breed type. Correct head with flat skull and slight stop, dark eyes, good ear set. Good front angulation, short neck, elbows well tucked in with good round feet. Ribs developing well, good tail carriage, moved out well with drive, very happy on the move. Coat well curled for age. Best Puppy in Breed and Reserve Best in Breed, Gundog Puppy Group 2.

Post Graduate: 1 1st Donaldson’s Prizelands Frosted Fancy, 2 year old white young lady, very sweet and feminine head with soft expression and flat skull. Standing on good legs and feet, short neck, good depth to ribs elbows well tucked in, short in loin. Coat tightly curled and even. Sound on the move.

Open 4: 1st Donaldson’s Zorrazo Alter Bridge at Prizelands (imp Hrv) almost 5 year old all male, shown in full coat. Very rustic in appearance and typical outline of the breed. Correct head proportions and good eye shape. Straight legs and feet, under all the coat super depth of rib and brisket, good forechest short coupled. Soundest mover in the class, powerful dog , moved out with good drive. In good muscular condition. Best of Breed. 2nd Searles Adormidera Apache Rose at Cravessa, 4 years old brown and white young lady, feminine, proportionate head with kind eye, short neck, enough rib. Coat evenly curled; brisk mover covered the ground well. 3rd Donaldson’s Prizelands In Our Dreams.
