1st 285, KNOTT, MRS J Zuni Someone U Loved Fellcat Striking blue merle male of quality. Clear, well-marked blue merle. Moved beautifully with correct stride and topline. Head ok, good ears which were well used. Excellent front, angulation, and bone, giving both substance and grace. Was close up to the BOB winner today. RBOB, BP

2nd 283, DYDE, MRS V Jidace Calandrex Six-month-old, told later making first show appearance. Still very much a baby needing time to settle. Good bone and promising structure. Correct coat texture with a rich black colour.

1st 284, HUNT, MRS C L Shepwood Grey Knight Substantial dog, well up to size and shown in full coat. Good front and back angulations. Carrying a little extra weight today, softening his outline.

1st 288, WRAY-RHAMSDEN, MRS S L Caronlea Celtic Fire Starter For Takhisis JW OSW (AI) (IKC) Red tri male, beautifully presented and groomed. Good ear set and size. Excellent bone with correct oval feet. Moved with purpose and ease. For perfection, would prefer a slightly less broad head. BOB

2nd 286, SIMPSON, MR D & MRS J Amberslade Santa Ana Breeze At Javison Eight-year-old veteran bitch, carrying her years lightly and not looking her age. Beautifully presented with rich tan and jet black coat, well groomed. Moved soundly and with purpose. Head ok, overall in excellent condition and a credit to her owner.

1st 318 WRAY-RHAMSDEN, MRS S L Takhisis Xtraordinary Lady Feminine girl of pleasing type. Head clean and balanced with neat, well-set ears. Moved soundly, though still needing time to mature and strengthen in the backend. Nothing overdone, presenting an honest outline with promise for future development. BP

CLASS 96, POST GRADUATE Entries 6 Abs 2

1st 305, COOPER, MS C E Kelekona Hearts Of Gold JW Beautifully presented sable male who stood out in this class. Head ok with good ear set. Excellent front and back angulation, correct topline with rise over loin, and well-conditioned throughout. Moved well once settled, always shown to perfection. Was very close for BOB however later told it was his mother! Congratulations. RBOB

2nd 314, SKINNER, MISS S Ladnar Makeithappen For Nikal Pleasing type. Good head with ok ears. Correct bright blue colour with clear black markings, well presented and attentive to handler. Good angulation throughout. Excellent mover, clearly enjoying himself, and once settled moved very well with purpose.

1st 306, COPPER, MS C E Lilith Nar Sule Of Kelekona Elegant sable-shaded Collie with classic outline. Pleasing head and expression, well-used ears. Front and rear assembly excellent, correctly proportioned. Groomed and presented beautifully, moved the best in the class, demonstrating breed type, balance, and effortless elegance throughout. BOB

2nd 309, FARTHING, MR D & MRS D Aldreen Illusion In Blue For Didek Striking blue merle male, coat beautifully broken with correct bright blue background. Good head, coat, and bone. Impressive stance and overall outline. Movement sound, balanced, and effortless; front assembly could be slightly stronger for top placement today.

1st 342, ROSSITER, MRS C & MR C Cocaro The Highlander

A very promising youngster with an excellent head, showing correct proportions and expression, complemented by a dark, well-pigmented eye that enhances his sweetness. He has excellent front angulation and a good length of neck. On the move he covers the ground well, though at present he tends to move a little wide behind. He is already in good coat for his age and was presented to advantage. Still very much a baby, he needs time to mature physically and to gain in confidence. RBOB, BP

2nd 336, NORRIS, MRS V Ferngrove's Code Blue

This blue merle presented a pleasing outline and moved with smooth, easy strides, covering the ground well. He carried an excellent long tail, correctly set and used to advantage on the move. He possesses a well-arched neck which flows cleanly into well-laid shoulders. Lovely bone throughout.

1st 337, NORRIS, MRS V Sabema Mayfly At Ferngrove

A youngster of excellent shape with a pleasing outline, showing good overall balance. Head is of very nice type, refined and well-proportioned, with correctly placed ears used to advantage, enhancing her expression. She moved out well with reach and drive, although at present is slightly out at the elbows. Tail of good length and carriage, completing the picture. Nicely presented and handled with confidence by her young handler, the two making a very good partnership in the ring. BOB

Presents an excellent overall picture, though a little larger in size than the first-placed exhibit. Excellent coat of correct texture and presentation. Initially a little unsure, but once settled and concentrating, she showed herself well. Moved out freely with balance, showing good drive and reach. Feet are well-formed, tight, and correct, contributing to her sound movement.

1st 341, ROBSON, MRS D Tachnamadra The Way You Look

Tri-colour bitch with a very good jet-black coat and rich tan markings. Head is slightly broad, which results in ears being set a little wider than ideal. Shown today in excellent muscle condition and moving well. In full coat, which gave the illusion of an uneven topline, but on examination the topline is correct with a pleasing sweep over the loin. Shown to advantage and handled well.

2nd 335, MOORE, MRS S A Sanscott Limited Edition 

Pale sable veteran, full of energy and enthusiasm on the move. Shown well and clearly enjoying her time in the ring. Maintains a good topline, presenting a pleasing overall picture for age.
