Thank you to the committee of Boston DCS for the invitation to judge some gundog and hound breeds. All breeds were full of quality, thank you to all of the exhibitors for your entry and taking my decisions with such grace.

1st Delgarno, Mrs C & Miss C VENCHARNO STUCK ON YOU

Just shy of two years old, this male has a lovely head of good proportions, beautiful neck into well laid shoulders.Overall well proportioned and of good size, balanced front and rear angulation. Strong topline and correct tailset, carried correctly on the move. Moved freely with purpose and drive. Would just prefer a slightly harsher coat.

2nd Bartley, Mr T & Mrs C Erylan Poseiden De la Mer JW

Another lovely young male, with the most handsome of head and melting expression, Good neck into correct shoulders. Sufficient forechest. Well ribbed, strong topline, albeit slightly longer than I would have preferred, good rear angulation, which he used well on the move. Lovely coat texture.

A noble gentleman with a beautiful yet masculine head, well proportioned with a strong underjaw and ears set low and of correct length. Strong neck of correct length into well laid shoulders, level topline into correct tail set. Lovely front assembly with well pronounced forechest, well ribbed. Lovely rear angulation with well let down hocks. Moved steady but with reach and drive. Correct coat texture. Overall, this male has a balanced outline and typical breed personality which caught my eye the second he walked into the ring. BOB

2nd Delgarno, Mrs C & Miss C Vencharno I Almost Had You

Another beautiful male, slightly finer in head than 1. Good length of neck, nice front assembly with enough forechest, good spring of rib of correct depth. Strong topline and correct tailset, held perfectly on the move. Well angled in rear and moved well fore and aft with a pleasing side profile.

1st Melbourne & Murray, Miss D & Miss J Diheath Chekov

An upstanding 11 month old male, with significant substance for his age. Masculine head with correct eyes and well set ears. A well developed head without any exaggeration. Good neck into well laid shoulders. Good forechest for age, would prefer just a touch more return of upperarm. Well boned. Good topline, well sprung ribs, deep through chest, with adequate clearance. Good rear angulation, moved well. BP.

A lovely petite bitch, who has a beautiful expression. Correct front assembly with pronounced forechest. Tight fitting elbows, good bone with nice feet, strong topline with well set on tailset. Nice rear angulation, moved well with lovely tail carriage.

‍‍‍‍‍‍ ‍‍ ‍‍‍‍A substantial boy, who caught my eye as he entered the ring. Full of masculinity without exaggeration and balanced throughout. Nice head and expression, correct low ears. Strong neck of good length into well laid shoulders, neat front assembly, well boned and nice feet. Deep chest, well ribbed with correct length of rib‍‍, strong topline, well muscled rear. Moved with drive. BOB

16 Month old male, beautifully turned out. Lovely masculine head, well chiseled and breed typical. Good length of neck into correct front assembly, well developed chest and good spring of rib for his age. Correct topline, which was held beautifully on the move. Well angulated in the rear. Moved true, with reach and drive. BOB.

2nd Jennings, Mr D K Alibama Quintessential

Another lovely young male, presented immaculately and handled to its best advantage. Pleasing head, slightly finer than 1. Strong neck into correct shoulders, good forechest, correct topline which was held beautifully on the move. Well angulated in the rear, well let down hocks. Moved well. Would prefer slightly more spring of rib.

1st Weyman, Mrs J More Than Amazing Wanna Be A Gangster At Spuffing JW (Imp Bel)

Young male, with a lovely masculine head, dark eye and correct earset. Strong neck of good length into well laid shoulders, nice front assembly, good depth of chest for age. Nice topline, held well on the move. Good rear angulation. Moved well. An overall balanced dog whom i liked very much.

Very close with 1. A lovely feminine bitch who presented a pleasing balanced outline. Beautiful head with a lovely expression. Good length of neck into clean shoulders. Lovely forechest and well sprung ribs. Good rear angulation. Moved well.

A quality bitch, who caught my eye the minute she entered the ring. A beautiful feminine head with a lovely expression. Strong neck into well laid shoulders and a lovely front assembly. Deep chest and well sprung ribs. Well angulated in the rear. A sound mover fore and aft. An overall balanced bitch, that for me, has a lovely breed type. BOB

2 year old B/W male of good size. Lovely head and expression with a pleasing dark eye. Would prefer slightly more length of neck. Straight forelegs, ample bone and good feet. Ribs well sprung, ok topline, correct tailset. Moved soundly.

Well balanced young bitch with a pleasing head and expression. Clean neck into well laid shoulders, good forequarters, strong topline, good depth of chest and spring of rib, well angulated in the rear which she used to her advantage on the move. Moved with correct reach and drive. BOB

Black male of good size. Masculine head, dark eye. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders. Balanced front and rear angulation. Strong topline, good tailset. Moved out well.

A young male with a lovely outline. Good head and expression. Strong neck, correct front assembly with a lovely forechest. Good spring of rib. Solid topline, held perfectly on the move. Well angulated in the rear. Moved out beautifully with a lovely head carriage.

2nd Ward, Miss C M Glenbrows Flame For Tantaraviz

A pretty bitch with a lovely head. Dark eyes and well placed ears. Good length of neck, well laid shoulders, would prefer slightly more return of upperarm. Good depth of body, good topline, nice rear angulation. Moved well fore and aft.
