First, I would like to thank the Officers and Committee for inviting me to the show. Thank you to my stewards and to the amazing exhibitors for their lovely entry. I felt very welcomed by everyone and enjoyed my day.

Poodle (Toy)

Post Graduate (3)

1st Mrs Crew: TODLAWS BLUE MOON. 6.5 month old black male puppy. Gorgeous male that presented himself well around the ring at such young age. Neck of adequate length in proportion to the whole dog leading onto well rounded ribs. Had strong rear drive and showed enthusiasm during movement. BOB and BP.

2nd Mrs Gilbert: CLOPTON DIAMOND JUBILEE AT PORTLOE. 20 month old silver female. Feminine face with appropriate black pigment framing it. Well-made body with correct angulation allowing for smooth movement around the ring. RBOB.

3rd Mrs Mayou-howe: AFTERGLOW NUTMEG

1st Miss Sellick: VOLGARUS SPICE UP YOUR LIFE. 7 month old brown male puppy. Lovely puppy that presented himself well during movement despite hind legs being a little over angulated during stance. Nice face followed by well set shoulders. Still requires some growth to fill out but overall, nice puppy. RBOB AND BP.

1st Mrs and Mr Sarson: ARROWFLIGHT HIGH SOCIETY AT DONGARA. 17 month old black female. A divine bitch with dark eyes with appropriate head size to body size. Has a strong face but still maintaining her femininity. Shoulders were well laid back and her chest filled my palm nicely. She produced a balanced outline during both movement and stance. Gorgeous coat with correct texture. BOB.

Poodle (Standard)

1st Mrs Crew: SOMANIC STRADIVARIOUS. 3 year old black male. Moved smoothly across the ring with correct front and rear angulation, showing full pad on movement. Handsome male with well a defined chin and almond eyes. RBOB.

2nd Mrs Taylor: GEBLUMT EXOTISCHE BLUME. 5 year old black female. Nice feminine face with tight-fitting lips but teeth could benefit from a scale and polish. Pads well cushioned and were shown in full during movement.

1st Mrs Taylor: NOVATELL SCHONE BLUME. 8 year old white veteran female. Presented in gorgeous coat and in good condition considering her age. Head well-proportioned according to overall size, despite teeth requiring some attention. Lovely outline with good chest depth and width. Her loin is muscular and accompanied by muscular hind legs. Tail set well. BOB

Shih Tzu

Post Graduate (2,1)

1st Mr Smith: DENSOWN PEDRO. 9 month old black and white male. Appealing male face with lovely dark eyes. Jaw a little undershot. Chest deep and broad, filling my palm nicely. Could have improved rear angulation during stance. Moved well but hind legs were thrown a little too much side to side. Dense puppy coat and tail held approximately level with head providing a balanced outline.

1st Miss and Mrs Puleston: DALTRICIA THANA AT SHANULEAS ShCM VW. 9.5 year old black and white veteran female. Wide open nostrils nicely separated her dark eyes. Leathers of ears are long and the hair blended seamlessly with the hair on her neck thanks to the gorgeous full coat. Clearly visible she still enjoys being shown as her gait was effortless. Hair on read pads could have been trimmed a little more but despite that, I was pleased to award her BOB.

2nd Mr Smith: DENSOWN VALENCIA. 9 month old gold and white female. Sibling to PG winner. Lovely feminine head, despite jaw being a little undershot. Chest still needs to fill out more but it was followed by well-toned fore and hind quarters. Moved effortlessly around the ring, better than her brother. Coat dense and tail furnished well with hair and held nicely in proportion to her head. RBOB and BP.

Lhasa Apso

1st Mr Barnett and Mr Carter: SKYLAX BEST PART OF ME INTO ALAMIKS. 14 month old gold and white female. Muzzle of adequate length in proportion to her head. Shoulders well laid back followed by a level topline. Lovely forward reach and rear drive during movement. Coat long extending to the ground. Definitely deserved BOB today.

1st Mr Barnett and Mr Carter: ALAMIKS PERFECT ILLUSION. 2.5 year old golden female. Nice long coat and tail well furnished with hair. Level topline accompanied by a high set tail. Had a little snow nose but nostrils were wide and eyes set well apart. Compact female but nothing was compromised to achieve that. RBOB.
