RETRIEVER (GOLDEN) – some disappointing movement today which I can only hope was due to the ring and the odd mat configuration. In general most had dark eyes and good ear sets – there were some poor feet and upright shoulders but my main winners were well constructed and moved OK given the ring conditions.

Puppy (6,1)

1st Moloko Eeh By Gum Raiveslake (B) – Owned By Mrs T & Mr S Ayling-Jones – 6 ½ month old, very pretty little girl who topped this lovely puppy class, she had good angulation and a correct head and eye. Good reach of neck set into well laid shoulder. Good bone and nice round tight feet. BPIB

2nd Castlegolden Classey Girl (B) – Owned by Mrs S & Mr K Magson – 10 month old, lovely girl with good head and dark eye. Good reach of neck into good shoulder. Level backed, longer in loin than my winner and movement not quite as good on the day.

Junior (3,0)

1st Lamancha Trust Your Heart With Gloi (B) – Owned by Ms EJ Walker & Dr L Roberts – Dark 14 month old girl with a lot to like about her, good head, dark eye and correct ear set. Level back and good tail set. Good tight, cat like feet, strait front and rear.

2nd Swanavly Popsy’s Legacy at Nunsbrook (IMP SRB) (D) – Owned by Miss J Liggins & Mr S Hodges – Nearly 18 month old boy with a good head, broad not corse with dark eye, good rear angulation, level topline held on move.

3rd Mitcharron Seren’s Legacy (D) – Owned by Mr D & Mrs PV Parry

Post Graduate (8,1)

1st Golmas Guard of Honour at Jarabees (D) – Owned by Mrs Millington – Typical head with correct ear set, enough reach of neck into well laid shoulders, strait front and well angulated rear. Moved OK on the floor.

2nd Mulfield Mango Marmalade (B) – Owned by Mrs J Griggs – Good Head and eye, correct ear set with good angulation front and rear.

1st Shebelta Sweet Charlotte JW (B) – Owned by Mr M & Mrs A Harvey – Sweet little girl with a nice overall shape. Good head and ear set, good reach of neck into well laid shoulder, good angulation behind and coped with the floor better than some. Pleased to award her BOB and see her go Group 4 under Judge Donna Holman.

3rd Dilworthey Secret Santa (D) – Owned by Ms J Burrows

1st Shebelta Soul Man (D) – Owned by Mrs K Murray – nice 3 year old boy with good head and eye, correct ear set. Well angulated fore and aft with good tight cat like feet. Level back and moved OK on the floor. RBOB

2nd Phoslas Polly Flinders (B) – Owned by Mrs L Bufton & Mrs S Riley – Pretty little girl with a lovely head and dark eye, correct ear set and good reach of neck into well load shoulders. Good angulation behind with level topline held on the move. Although she was a little erratic. I do not think she liked the floor with was a shame as it was her undoing today.

Puppy (3,1)

1st Weipowa Double O’Seven (D) – Owned by Miss C Hill – Stunning 9 month old Puppy who coped well with the floor and really showed himself off. He has a good head, high ear set and with that typical aristocratic look that goes through you. Clean cut neck. Level Back held on the move. Good bone, well proportioned with good tight feet. There is more to come of this boy but I was pleased to award him BPIB & RBOB.

2nd Smilek There’s a Kind of Hush (D) – Owned by Mr LJ & Mrs K Reilly – Nice boy with good head. Again with that look. OK bone with good front feet, Moved OK on the floor.

1st See first in Puppy (BPIB & RBOB)

2nd Enjager Access to Raystans (D) – Owned by Mrs C Rayner & Mrs S Maskell – 14 month old boy who is still a little bum high and a lot of maturing to do. He was over streached to try and make him look level which did him no favours, but he has a good high ear set and clean neck. Good bone and he moved OK on the floor.

1st Enjager Harmony with Brownbank JW (B) – Mrs S & Miss G Maskell &Mrs C Rayner - Lovely girl with good head and high ear set, that aristocratic look and clean neck into good shoulder. Well sprung rib and brisket to elbow. Covered the ground with ease. Please to award her BOB.

2nd Smilek Fernando JW (D) – Mr A & Mrs T Hawkins – Nice boy who has a good head and clean neck well angulated, Longer cast than 1st place and did not move as well in the ring. Left before the challenge for RBOB.
