Thank you for the kind invitation by the Secretary and committee for this appointment. Unfortunately, the weather was against us so waited for an inside ring to become available. Entry numbers were low but I appreciate them all.

Golden Retrievers

Puppy (2,0A)

1 Stallards Ballybarkin Jack Daniels (8m D) Mid golden with nice amount of bone. Good pigmentation, correct teeth and balanced head proportions. Well laid back shoulders, good return of upper arm and nice neat feet. Level topline and good tail set with plenty of feathering. Stood four square nicely and moved well for his age. Sorry not to see it in group. BP

2 Elseys Kentishgold Biggles (11m D) Slightly lighter in colour with a masculine head. Correct lay of shoulder, level topline and moved well. Less coat as 1, balanced in outline spoiled on occasion when standing.

1 Petts Rumwood Three Times a Lady (5y B) Pale, in good coat and condition. Overall shape well balanced, and good outline. Feminine head with good pigmentation and dark eye. Nice length of neck into correct shoulders. Good bone and neat feet, well let down hocks used well on the move once settled. Good level topline and tail set. BOB

2 Stallards Maplerose All Tuckered Out (8y D) Mid golden boy with nice head shape and correct eye colour. Correct angulation front and rear with plenty of bone. In good coat and moved out well. RBOB

1 Kerrs Trulace Ambassador (2y D) Chocolate boy with a masculine head but not overdone. Good eye colour and ear set. Plenty of bone with neat feet. In correct thick double coat and beautiful otter tail. Overall shape balanced, good angulation, well muscled and moved well. Stands four square and shows himself off. BOB

2 Welfords Richbourne Legally Blonde at Ankari (13m B) Yellow girl with a feminine head, good eye colour and pigmentation. Nice length of neck leading into correct shoulders. Enough bone, neat feet and level topline. Moved well. Preferred overall balance of 1. RBOB

1 Bowens Clandrift Bring Me Sunshine JW (20m D) Good eye on a lovely moulded head. Strong neck into well placed shoulders, body has good depth, firm topline which is kept on the move. Good tail set. Good angulations fore and aft moving out freely. Shown in good coat and condition. BOB and Group 3

2 Wilsons Hameldowntor Pedro Ximenez (3y D) Up to size male with a masculine head and correct eye. Nice amount of bone, would prefer tighter feet. In good coat and condition, good tail set and moved out well.

1 Wilsons Hameldowntor Music of the Night (Imp Fra) (7y B) Lovely feminine head with correct eye. Good length of neck set into well laid shoulders. Enough bone, good angulations and balanced outline. Moved well. A credit to her owner and should do well in Veteran classes. RBOB
