Thank you to the committee for the kind invitation to judge at your well ran show, very generous with your gifts which were kindly accepted. Thank you to all of the exhibitors for your entries and to my 2 stewards Mark and Richard for keeping the ring running smoothly.

Thanks also to the Group judge for appreciating my BOB and giving it Group 3.

Puppy (6,4A)

1 Kent’s Trewinnard Veritas (7m B) Black with much to like. Lovely eye colour and well set on ears and a kind expression. Nice neck leading into good shoulders and correct front, good bone and neat feet. Short coupled, level topline and good otter tail. Nice turn of stifle, moved well once settled. BP

2 Snellgrove & Priddice’s Exelby Catherine of Duskmeadow (8m B) Black with enough bone and nice feet. Good head shape and eye colour, in good coat and nice tail. Moved nicely and attentive to handler. Preferred outline of 1.

Junior (3,2A)

1 Wallace’s Dreammake for Tiaja JW (IMP DNK) (13m B) Yellow with nice eye colour and good ear set. Feminine face with a soft expression, good pigmentation. Strong neck leading into good shoulders, nice level topline. In good coat with a nice otter tail, moved well. A little fidgety once stood which spoils her outline on occasion.

Graduate (6,3A)

1 Braddon’s Trendlewood Tiger Lily JW (20m B) Yellow with nice eye colour, kind expression and good head proportions. Strong neck into a firm topline, good front, enough bone and neat feet. In good coat and balanced in outline. Moved steadily. RBOB

2 Hoban’s Meadowleigh Turn Back time (3y B) Chocolate with a nice head and good eye colour. Plenty of bone and neat feet. Clean neck and shoulders with a good topline. In good coat and nice otter tail, moved well.

Open Dog (4,3A)

1 Moody’s Trendlewood Ebony and Ivory (3y D) Black dog with a masculine head, dark eye and good bone onto neat feet. Plenty of coat and a good otter tail. Would prefer stronger hocks but he was well muscled and moved out well.

Open Bitch (4,1A)

1 Mills’ Jaybec Winter Wispa JW (3y B) Yellow with nice eye colour and a kind expression. Good front with enough bone onto neat feet. Correct angulations and well made hind quarters. Level topline kept on the move, moving with drive and at one with its handler. BOB, Group 3

2 Wallace’s Tiaja Love in the Sun (6y B) Yellow who has a very balanced outline. Nice head and good eye colour. Pigment good for her age, strong neck leading into a level topline. Good coat and nice tail, moved well, hope to see her shown in Veteran classes.
