J (2,1) 1st Warburton’s Owlspoint Loads Of Trouble At Heberhouse Long angular head, Good occiput. Ears well set on. Strong neck, clean lines to the shoulders. Good depth of chest, Stifle well bent, just need to tighten up a bit on the move.

L (2,0) 1st Sanderson’s Whitgun U’can’t Touch This At Walwal JW BOB Quality bitch, Head well shaped when viewed from all angles. Neck strong and muscular following though to nicely laid shoulder and strong forequarters. Chest deep and ribs well sprung. Correct bend of stifle moved easily around the ring. 2nd Warburton’s Withamfriary Lush Blossom At Heberhouse Slightly different in overall body shape to one. Again clean line to the head, good eye colour, clean neck and shoulders well ribbed..

O (3,2) 1st Sanderson’s Owlspoint Trouble Again JW Another one of quality only just pipped to the post for BOB. Head of correct shape with good width of foreface. Neck well muscled and clean. Good in front and shoulders well placed. Body in relation height to length correct. Strong in rear quarters RBOB

Well balanced, excellent head and eye, correct shoulder placement good length of neck Deep in chest. Strong over the quarter and moved with ease around the ring I had no hesitation in awarding her BOB and Gundog Puppy G3, 2nd Thompson & Hjert’s Cornibus Neptunus just 6 months and her first adventure in to the show ring. Pleasing in head and eye. Clean neck and shoulders. Good ribs and rear angulation. 3rd Brown’s Montalba Miss Aching, 4th Brown’s Montalba Mustrum Ridcully

J (2,1) 1st Brown’s Montalba Mustrum Ridcully 11months young boy.Well off for size. Clean lines through out. Just needs to mature in body to complete the picture

L (2,0) 1st Malin’s Keigame Quintessence At Benrae RBOB Correct head and eye, shoulders well placed straight in front. Well developed rib cage and correct length of loin moved well, 2nd Hjert & Thompson’s Cornibus Mulberry. Close to 1 but I just preferred the depth of chest of the first. Again clean lines through out. Good neck and shoulders, good rear angulation.

O (2,0) 1st Brown’s Montalba Mister Teatime,Pleasing dog with good head. Correct eye colour. Chest welll developed. Shoulders well placed. Correct length of back strong rear quarters. 2nd Sielski’s SH CH Orchidstar Bolts Of Speed Another pleasing dog with well shaped head. Clean strong neck although I felt he was slightly stuffy in the neck today which was the deciding factor between the two. Again deep in chest , short in back string rear quarters giving him drive on the move

P (1,0) 1st Lewis’s Braithwaite Rory At Fallowfield BP BOB. Quality youngster, Well balanced head with dark eye, Strong neck following through to well placed shoulders. Good depth of chest. Straight in front. Deep chest. Level topline. Strong rear action.

O (1,0) 1st Malin’s Kenzduo Deeply Dallas BOB Well balanced dog of good size, correct bone. Balanced in head good eye. Straight front. Clean neck and shoulders. Good length to height ratio. Strong over the quarters

HUNGARIAN WIREHAIRED VIZSLA

O (2,0) 1st Elders SH CH Enryb Skye Blue BOB One who is certainly worthy of her title. Correct head shape with pleasing expression from the correct eye colour. Moderate length of neck, shoulders well laid back. Level topline both standing and on the move. Well developed chest. Strong rear action., 2nd Elders Enryb Pink Panther Still quite raw at the moment. But overall a well balanced younster. Again correct head and eye. Clean neck and shoulders. Topline held well . Moved ok.

P (3,2) 1st Bush’s Piasharn Rocka Rolla Strking puppy of good proportions. Good head and expression, straight front with well placed shoulders. Chest well developed for age. Correct length of back, moves with ease around the ring. BP RBOB

J (2,1) 1st Lewis’s Kanix Snapdragon At Fallowfield Head of good proportions, neck strong of correct length. Good brisket and rib cage, slightly longer in the loin just needed to settle a little on the move.

L ( 4,2) 1st Bush’s Piasharn Garrick, Lovely well proportioned dog, nicely shaped head and good eye colour. Clean neck and shoulders, chest well developed. Short over the loin. Move strongly around the ring. 2nd Bush’s Piasharn Demelza. Similar in type to one but I just preferred the head of the winner.

O (3,1) 1st Mason’s Morgan Van Freebreeze (IMP NLD) BOB Best Gundog. I was very taken with this bitch. Beautifully shaped head, dark eye. Just enough stop and that slight dish face appearance. Straight front with tight feet. Well placed shoulders, Brisket well let down. Short coupled and correct rear angulation it was a pleasure to give her the gundog group., 2nd Lewis’s Braithwaite Pole Postion In Fallowfield. Head of good proportions. Good depth of chest, straight in front . Just slightly longer in loin than I would prefer.

RETRIEVER (CHESAPEAKE BAY)

O (3,1) 1st Broomfield, Bromfield, Mahon-Hunns & Newton’s Glaneils Don’t Worry Be Happy BOB, Broad head with correct stop, ears small and well set on head. Strong and muscular in the neck following through to shoulders well laid back. Chest deep with well developed rib cage. Correct length of back. Strong rear quarters giving drive on the move. 2nd Rigby’s Chesepi Waco RBOB Broad in head with slight stop, Ears well set. Strong and muscular in neck and clean lines to the shoulders. Chest well developed. Strong rear quarters.

RETRIEVER (FLAT COATED)

P (1,0) 1st Whitaker & Kilsby’s Aricdell This One’s For You BP Balanced overall outline. Head long and well shaped. Clean neck following through to nicely placed shoulders. Straight in front .Good ribcage, short over the loin.

J (6,2) 1st Walker & Roberts Gloi Dubh Lady Muck RBOB. Stood freely in the ring with a pleasing overall outline. Head flat and moderately broad, eyes dark. Good depth of brisket Strong rear quarters, hocks well placed, 2nd Curtis’s Tallistar Midnight Beauty, Another pleasing and well balanced example. Head nicely shaped, pleasing expression. Clean in neck and well placed shoulder, chest deep. Short coupled. Good rear angulation 3rd Hewison’s Benvellyn Marakele Into Casblaidd, 4th Bligh’s Ravencrag Limited Edition

L (3,0) 1st Hewison’s Benvellyn Marakele Into Casblaidd, Still has some maturing to do. But her overall outline was good and well balanced 2nd Whitaker & Kilsby’s Jetstarski I’m On Fire, Again nothing to dislike, body of good proportions. Clean neck and shoulders just a little proud of her tail on the move.3rd Bligh’s Ravencrag Limited Edition

O (2,0) 1st Walker & Roberts Gloi Dubh Just One Look BOB Reserve Best Gundog, Stunning outline and pushed hard for the Group. Correct in head shape with lovely dark eye, front straight with good bone, chest deep, short over the loin, rear quarters well muscled which gave him the ease to flow smoothly around the ring. 2nd Whitaker & Kilsby’s Evening Mist Black Brianta (IMP CZE) Feminine bitch, Head long and nicely moulded. Good eye colour. Chest deep and strong over the loin. Moved well.

P (2,0) 1st Mizen’s Tenfield Sword Of State BP, Pleasing young dog who just need s to settle on the move. Head well balanced, strong in the muzzle. Eyes set well on a level with the eye. Good bone and straight in front. Shoulder well laid back. Level over the back with good ribs. Moved well. 2nd Magson’s Castlegolden Classy Girl. Pleasing in head with dark eye. Strong in neck. Good front and strong rear quarters.

Good rear quarters. 2nd Walker & Roberts Lamancha Trust Your Heart With Gloi, Nicely shaped head, skull not too broad. Strong neck following through to good front and shoulders. Good ribcage and level back both standing and on the move. 3rd Magson’s Castlegolden Classy Girl, 4th Macdonald’s Lamancha Time Traveller

Neck of good length and strong. Front straight with good bone. Shoulders well placed. Deep chest short over the loin. Hocks well let down. Moved well around the ring., 2nd Boyle’s Dilworthy Early Arrival, The same comments as number one however I just preferred the shorter length of loin on my first. 3rd WallisBlue Gemstone Katrina At Camellis, 4th Walker & Roberts Lamancha Trust Your Heart With Gloi

Overall a well balanced dog of good proportions, 2nd Scrimgeour’s Velvetine Willow, Very close between these two both with the same attributes, however I just preferred the head of 1, 3rd Threader’s Lillyview Diamonds Forever

Moved well, 2nd Lawrence’s Dunnabbey Step Outside, Another pleasing dog with all the attributes for the breed. Clean neck and shoulder, strong over the loin with good rear quarters. Strong rear movement, 2nd Copeland & Knowles’s Eusanit It’ll Be Reet At Menstonia RBOB, Another nice dog. Again with that correct wedge shape to the head and good expression. Shoulders placed well, straight front tight feet. Well ribbed. Good topline standing and on the move. 3rd Stait’s Afonbach Balerion JW, 4th Adshead’s Afronbach Syrax

P (2,0) 1st Davies’s Manchela Little Mermaid of Annaside BP Very feminine young lady. Pleasing head with square muzzle, correct stop. Dark eye. Body well proportioned height to length. Good bone, straight front. Good rib cage and level topline. Moved well. 2nd Mason’s Leechbaby Hot Shoe Shuffle To Sandlauga close up to one and just a preference for the first’s head. Again overall well balanced, good depth of chest and rear angulation.

Good bend of stifle, 2nd Walton’s Annaside Lets Dance, Still a balanced outline but overall larger in frame than my first. Muscular neck, straight front with enough bone. Length of body to leg well proportioned. Deep brisket . Good coupling. Moderate stifle, hocks well let down.

O (3,1) 1st Ritchie & Graham’s Renascent Bleaberry At Slapestones JW (IMP USA) BOB 2 very nice bitches who could change places at any time. On the day I preferred the movement of my winner. Slightly domed skull, well defined stop and good chiselling. Correct in forequarters. Well laid shoulders, ribs well sprung. Hind quarters strong and muscular giving ease of movement round the ring, 2nd Moore’s Brent Oyster Bay Similar qualities to one but just didn’t give her all on the move today.

J (3,2) 1st Longbottoms Gunalt Beehave BP BOB Best Gundog Puppy This boy just takes over the ring. Everything that you are looking for in the breed. Masculine in head with good ear set and eye colour. Clean neck flowing through to well laid shoulders. Deep in chest ribs well back , Good rear angulation, held his topline well on the move. A pleasure to watch .

Nicley sloping shoulder and good front. Deep in the chest. Hock set low good rear angulation just a little proud of his tail on the move today. 2nd Cross, Powney & Long’s (Irish Water) Cuboglach Titania’s Frit At Knotdog Pleasing young lady but still very raw. Has everything you are looking for in the breed. Moved well.

Head well balanced with square muzzle and nicely chiselled in the head. Ear well set. Enough length of neck following on through to fine sloping shoulders. Good bone and straight in front. Chest well developed and well ribbed. Good rear angulation . Holding his topline well both standing and on the move. My BV 2nd Watson’s (English Springer) Sh Ch Bordacity Honey Ryder VW, Another quality dog who was unfortunate to come up against my winner. Head and skull of correct proportions. Neck stong and clean. Shoulders well placed. Well off for bone. Deep in chest and good rear quarters.
