Thank you to the officers and committee for the invite and to those who bought their dogs under me. We were a little late getting in the ring so thank you for your patience. Thank you also to my stewards who, after a long day, did a sterling job. 

CHOW CHOW

Post Graduate 2

1 Hunt & Oliver’s Songshijia Chief Kwangchow. Red upstanding boy who presents a square and balanced outline. Good head properties with broad skull, clear eyes and well placed ears. Good depth to chest and well ribbed back. Good moderate rear angulation and well let down firm hocks. Developing well for age, just needs a touch more width in front to complete the picture. Moved well in profile with typical side gait. BOB. 

2 Thorman’s Bella Mondo From Namroht. Cream 8 Year Old bitch with much to like. Smaller than 1 but presents a square outline. Pretty head with good ears, bite and pigment. Nice front assembly, well ribbed and short coupled. Correct rear with sound well let down hocks. Moved well with typical gait in side profile. Very close up to 1. RBOB.

1 Hunt & Oliver’s Mosspark Blue Spangle VW. Blue 8 year old bitch with a square balanced outline. Good width to skull, excellent eye, bite and good pigment. Well laid shoulder and nice tight elbows. Well ribbed, level top line and moderately angulated rear. Moved well in profile.

Puppy 1 

1 O’Doherty’s Kutani Astra With Autumnspell. Very pretty youngster with good coat for age. Well made and sturdy all through. Nicely developing head with good shape to eye, correct bite and pigment. Good shoulders onto straight front legs. Good top line and tail set. Moved well once settled. BP/PG4.

1 Crook & Wall’s Shenedene Kiss My Pix Sell With Charjilliam. Presents a balanced profile. Good head properties with excellent eye and correct bite. Good neck onto well laid shoulders and straight legs. Well ribbed with level top line and tail will set and held. In good coat, presented well. Moved well in all directions. BOB

2 Crook & Kindness’ Kelankin Ghost Ryder With Charjilliam. Another nice example with good head and eye. Well laid shoulder, well ribbed, level top line. Shown in good coat and condition. Very lively on the move making his handler work today. RBOB 

SHIH TZU

Puppy 1 

1 Moore’s Unstoppable Alpiu Slenis To Jaxtzu (Imp LTU). Delightful young lad with much to like. A little unsettled to start but just got better as the day went on. Super chrysanthemum head, excellent eye, correct bite and lips. Good shoulders into straight legs. Good substance and well made all through with correct tail set and carriage. When settled moved with reach showing full pads on the rear. BP/BOB/PG1. Delighted to see him go RBPIS at the end of the day.

1 Mhatre’s Alchez After The Storm. Black and while bitch shown in good coat and condition. Pretty, correct head with nice eye and correct bite. Good proportions all through. Arched neck into good shoulders. Well ribbed with correct top line. Tail carried well over back. Moved steadily with good reach. RBOB

FRENCH BULLDOG 

Puppy 2

1 Young’s Leyendas Bedazzled. Six month old brindle. Sweet head with good proportions. Good eye and bite. Body developing well for age with good overall shape and substance. Good top line and tuck up. Moved well in all directions. BP/PG4

2 Davis’ Rowanpaws Come Donner. Another promising youngster with a lovely temperament. Good head developing well with correct bite. Sturdy and compact body. A tad unsettled today making movement a little difficult to assess fully. 

Junior 2

1 Foley’s Leyendas On A Mission. Brindle with lovely head properties. Good eye, bite and lips. Body developing well for age. Strong neck into good front assembly. Correct for top line and tuck up. Moved ok. 

2 Davis’ Bandit King Of Hammerbarn. Very appealing youngster with much to like. Good head proportions with correct eye, good bite and lips. A little raw yet losing out to 1 on maturity. Moved well. 

Post Graduate 1

1 Jordan’s Rowanpaws Love Me Like You Do. Of good size and proportions. Well proportioned head with good eye, nicely held bat ears and nice open nostrils. Sturdy and compact all through with strong rear. Moved well. RBOB. 

Open 4

1 Timms’ Olijah Fully Loaded. Compact bitch with very breed typical outline. Solid throughout. Particularly liked her head with her well placed and held bat ears. God dark eye, correct bite and good nostrils. Strong neck, good shoulders onto straight and strong front legs. Correct top line, tuck up and tail set. Moved really well to BOB/G1. 

2 Jordan’s Rowanpaws Chimney Star. Another nice example from this kennel with much to like. Well grown with very good head properties, well placed ears and good dark eye. Nicely made all through but just needs time to mature to complete the picture. 

BOSTON TERRIER 

Junior 1

1 Raulston’s Ivyjewel It Should Have Been Me. Promising youngster who had good overall proportions and presented a balanced outline. Good head and eye with pleasing muzzle. Correct front assembly with good width and depth to chest for age. Typical top line and tail set. Moved well when settled

Post Graduate 2 (1) 

1 Raulston’s Ivyjewel Put A Light On Me. Particularly liked the head on this lad. Well balanced in outline. Good arched neck well set into shoulder. Good straight legs. Well ribbed. Well set on tail. Shown in excellent condition. Moved well in all directions. 

Open 1 

1 Raulston’s Ch Ivyjewel Dare To Dream Loved the clean and balanced outline of this dog, nothing exaggerated. Masculine head with good eye, width to muzzle, good bite and well padded cheeks. Clean arched neck on to well proportioned body. Good depth and width to chest, strong loin and well angulated rear. Moved well to BOB & G4. 

AVNSC UTILITY

Puppy 4(1)

1 Whincup’s Tamilandia Vintage Gold (Dalmatian). Well grown liver male with a masculine head, well placed ears, clean amber eyes. Well laid shoulder, balanced angles front and rear, level top line and correctly set and held tail. Moved well in all directions to BAVNSCP & PG2

2 Cairnes’ Lowashton’s Zues (Minature Poodle). Delightful Black Dog with much to like. Nicely proportioned head with good eye and bite. Nice neck into good shoulders, short backed with well set on tail. Just needs to tighten in front action. 

Junior 7(3)

1 Thompson’s Afterglow Show Us Yer Nuts Trandella (Toy Poodle). What a character this young lad is. Full of attitude! Presents a balanced typical outline. Good head properties with well chiselled fore face. Good mouth and ears. Good shoulders, short backed with good width and depth to chest. Correct angles front and rear. Moved well when settled. 

2 Whincup’s Tamilanda Vintage Gold (Dalmatian). As above.

1 Thompson’s Afterglow Show Us Yer Nuts Trandella (Toy Poodle). As above

1 Chessell’s Araki Areu The Queen Of Bees For Stylaxian JW (Tibetan Terrier). Striking golden sable and white who presents a balanced outline. Lovely head with good eye and expression and correct bite. Strong neck into good shoulders, straight legs and good feet. Square with correct top line. Shown in excellent condition and carried herself beautifully on the move to secure BAVNSC & G2 

2 Collett’s Velrock Ringing Gold JW (Tibetan Spaniel). Another who presents a breed typical, balanced and unexaggerated picture on the stand. Lovely well proportioned head with nice dark eye and correct expression, good pigment and correct bite. Ears set and carried well. Good neck, well laid shoulder, level back with good spring of rib. Good legs and feet. Well let down hocks. Sadly he wasn’t enjoying his day but still impressed enough for RBAVNSC.

2 Whyte & Luty’s Sympika Shaddow Catcher (Standard Poodle). Nine year old who presents a nice balanced outline with good angles all through. Good chiselled head, correct eye and bite. Good ears. Moves with vigour belying his age.
