I was the emergency judge for CKCS’s , stepping in last minute for Lana who had become unwell. I hope the exhibitors weren’t too disappointed as I have given my opinion on several of the dogs before ,I judged them on the day. What a lovely show as I arrived the atmosphere was buzzing. Thank you to my two lovely stewards for their help and support.

Class 161 Puppy

3/3

A lovely class of 3 delightful puppies

1st Chadwick’s Juzandia Lady Bug: This puppy had the advantage of maturity being 11 months old but what a little cracker she is. Absolutely delightful head that is already well cushioned and she has beautiful dark round eyes. She has a lovely outline and a silky coat coming that is well broken. She has good angles and a shapely strong backend. One to watch, I couldn’t wait to look up her breeding.

2nd Loades Brymarden Gentle Breeze: Striking outline on this smart puppy and she holds her topline on the move for one so young. She has lovely eyes and pigment and a well broken silky coat, very sound and at 6 months she has it all to come.

Class 162 Junior

5/6

1st Kosters’ Harana Now You Has Jazz -Glorious black and tan of just 12 months who I have judged as a puppy. A lovely relationship between him and his Mum, he’s a sophisticated showman already. He has a lovely neck and shoulders and his head is almost flat with the correct ear set. His eyes are large , dark and well-spaced apart on a balanced head shape, giving a gentle expression . He is well constructed with super ribs and topline and he moves out confidently and with style. He has good moderate bone and a shapely body and he is turned out beautifully. His wagging tail and gentle nature finished the picture to take BOB. What an exciting boy!

2nd Surman’s Harana C’est Si Bon- A lovely well bodied feminine ruby ,litter Sister to the class winner. Lovely eyes and head shape, moderately boned, great pigment and ribs, she moved well and had that adorable hint of naughtiness.

Class 163 Post Graduate

3/5

1st Owen’s Hansowens Night Star – Glamorous black and tan with a lovely head and super silky and shiny coat which is turned out to perfection. She has wonderful spring of rib and an ever wagging tail.

2nd Chadwick’s Cavallibrook why oh why :Blenheim with dark eyes that is well bodied and has a silky well broken coat and a waggy tail.

Class 164 Limit

1/2

1st Surman’s Harana Joan Jett: stood alone but what a delightful black and tan. Just love her elegance and grace. She has a lovely feminine head and she has a wonderful spring of rib which makes her so shapely. She has lovely carriage and moved with style and when stood wagged her tail happily for her owner and I couldn’t resist her RBB.

Class 165 Open Dog

2/2

1st Royce’s LLapstrams Garcon Noir at Rucazan -Exuberant Black and tan who won the class on the quality of his head, it is well cushioned and he has lovely dark eyes. He is well bodied and his coat is glamorous and well turned out. He was thoroughly enjoying himself.

2nd Lunt’s Oaktreepark Royal Austin :Blenheim boy who moves beautifully and he has the most delightful gentle temperament and a super happy wagging tail. However for me, he is too big and long for a toy spaniel.

Class 166 Open Bitch

1/2

1st Owen’s Hansowen’s Rising Star : Another glamorous black and tan turned out to perfection from this kennel. Gentle expression, well bodied with plenty of heart room and moves well and is eager to please her owner as she looks up lovingly at her wagging her tail.
