Thank you to the society for the invite to judge at their well ran show, I was delighted with the quality of the dogs in this area. I particularly enjoyed the Junior dog class that was full of quality , many of which I will watch with interest at Championship show level. Thank you to my fantastic steward Sue Ozbourne who keep the ring running well.

Class 120 Puppy 3/5

1st Mynott’s Honeybet Hamilton – what a little cracker this 11 month old male puppy is !He has a very good head shape and well feathered ears. His eyes are beautiful, dark brown and the correct round shape well-spaced apart giving a sweet and gentle expression. He has correct dentition and a true silky coat which was turned out really well. He has good angles and is short coupled and has good width to his upper thigh and correct tail carriage. .When moved at the right pace, he moves effortlessly and with grace. He has an exciting future I am sure. BP and PG3 2nd Biddle’s Hearthfriend Heart & Soul –super happy and active Blenheim with it all to come. She has a sweet head and expression well broken coat and desired lozenge came alive on the move showing off her correct construction. 3rd Jackson’s Fortunamajor Pumpkin Spice

Class 121 Junior 5/7

What a class, brimming with quality. The boys just had the edge today.

1st Jackson’s Fortunamajor’s Persueus – Gorgeous quality tri boy with an ideal head shape, lovely dark round eyes well feathered ears and symmetrical face marking, he just draws you in with his sweet and gentle expression. So well bodied with excellent heart room, ideal bone and spring of rib. He is a picture in profile with moderate neck, well laid shoulders , spirit level topline and good angles to his rear quarters and good width to his upper thigh. Made right, he moved typically and with purpose and finished the picture with his ever wagging tail, Ill watch his career with interest. I was interested in his breeding and I smiled to see his sire was a real favourite of mine. RBOB. 2nd McKenzie’s Carsan Hot and Tasty – a lovely Blenheim lad with lots to like. He is a fantastic mover, powered around the ring with a level topline and ideal tail carriage. He has a lovely head and well broken silky coat just a little longer in the coupling than the winner. 3rd Walker’s Carsan Richie Rich

Class 122 Post Graduate 2/3

1st Biddle’s Theodore James Castellum Mare at Hearthfriend – another lovely mover from this kennel. This blanket coat tri boy has a very sweet expression and holds an ideal shape on the move that is just captivating, he is also a lovely size and has great presence and carriage. 2nd Chadwick’s Cavallibrook Why Oh Why – A Blenheim lady who moves well and is typey, she is made on larger lines and was longer in the coupling than the winner.

Class 123 Limit 3:3

1st Spall & Clark’s Llapstram’s Sire Prize -This was a very close contest between first and second place with two very good examples of the breed, This glamorous black and tan male is in first class condition and showed really well. He has a masculine head and dark round eyes and bright tan marking and a super silky straight coat. He has well sprung ribs and correct bone and I noted good width of upper thigh. He had wonderful carriage in the class but lost some verve when challenging for best of breed. 2nd Jackson’s Fortunamajor Shining Star – this lady is a real favourite of mine and I found it hard to put her in second place today as she is a lovely moderate example of the breed. Gentle expression from her soulful eyes, ideal construction, she is so well balanced and moves gracefully with reach and drive, just lost out to the younger male in suberb condition today but I like her very much.

Class 124 Open 3:4

1st Colavecchia’s Carolus Miss Elsie – I adore this active, sassy and graceful little lady who never stops showing, what pure joy she must be to own. She has a lovely head that is right for her size, dark eyes , symmetrical facial markings and well tapered muzzle. Up on her toes as soon as she enters the ring. She is for me such an ideal size but she is a lot of dog in a small package. Gorgeous outline, moderate neck, well sprung ribs, short coupled and great width of upper thigh. She has a glamorous well broken silky coat and the loveliest temperament and ever wagging tail. Hard to believe she is nearly 7 years of age as she shows the younger dogs hows it done. I swear she gets better everytime I meet her and I cannot believe she doesn’t have a title. She will not allow you to ignore her, she has such lovely carriage and moves very true and I could not deny her BOB in very nice company indeed! 2nd Walker’s Carsan Red Rebellion an easy going ruby boy, lovely flat lying silky coat, great ribs and pigment. 3rd Dank’s Leeabbie Toodie’s delight
