CKCS

Thank you to KCCA for the invitation to judge at your well run show, I was delighted to meet CKCS exhibitors I haven’t met before so some of the dogs were new to me, which is always exciting.

Class 120 Junior

1st Armitage-Walkers Wirewood Elsie this 13 month old Blenheim took my eye as soon as she entered the ring. Heading this lovely junior class which had a lot of range in terms of age and maturity. New to me, her overall balanced outline appealed. She has a classic head shape, lovely dark round eyes giving a gentle expression, good pigment, dentition and well feathered ears off a flattish skull . A moderate neck flowing into good shoulders good angles fore and aft with lovely width of upper thigh, I just wanted a bit more rib and substance. She has a quality moderate well broken silky coat. Had good carriage, finished the picture with an ever wagging tail, she is so well schooled. I do hope to see this exhibitor out at championship shows as this little lady can compete. I was interested to look up the breeding and I smiled to find her sire is a firm favourite of mine. BOB

2nd Maclaines Ellemich Whoops a Daisy at Pennygown - Another lovely well broken blenheim , this time 10 months old. A different head type to the class winner , lovely limpid eyes good dentition and almost flat skull with feathered ears . I noted great bone, body and spring of rib and lovely width to her upper thigh. She has a quality moderate coat of correct silky texture, that is well broken and really rich chesnut markings. Really got her act together with another handler and had her head up on the move showing off her beautiful free flowing side gait. BP

3rd Miletree Morse at Cinderaic

Clas 121 Post Graduate

1st Street & Paige’s Luphenex Highland Dancer - 2 year old well broken Tri lady that stood alone. Delicious head that has a really sweet appealing expression. Loved her head shape with symmetrical head marking and super dark round eyes. Good heart room noted. She has a well broken coat good rib, bone and width of upper thigh. RBOB

Class 122 Open

1st Dawson’s Luphenex Highland Fling- This 2 and a half Blenheim dog stood alone. Lovely sweet expression from his lovely eyes. He has a glamorous, well broken silky coat. I would preferred more fill under the eyes. Unfortunately his upright shoulders hampered his movement.
