1. Gorrian and Henry’s IR Sh ch Border Reiver with Querdon – 22 month old male. Well bodied with good depth. Shoulders well laid back. Moved out well covering the ground with ease.

2. Gorrian and Henry’s Ir Sh Ch Fab Point Tempestade with Querdon – 2 year old bitch. Sweet head and expression. Good topline. Preferred profile movement of 1st.

AV NSC Gundog Open

1. Leslie’s Scalpsie Infinite Banter – 11 month old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Lovely head. Good layback of shoulder. Nice topline. Moved out well once settled and presented immaculately. Handler just needs to gain some more confidence.

BIS 1 – Flatcoated Retriever – McManus’s Rotherfield Secret Code. Lovely upstanding male. Took my attention as soon as he entered the ring. Commands attention. Lovely head, good lay back of shoulder. Moved around the ring with ease and presence. Delighted to award him BIS.

Group 2 – Hungarian Vizsla - McCormack’s Roughshoot Onboard. See above. This bitch didn’t stop showing herself today. She was a joy to watch move. Could not deny her RBIS today.

Group 3 – Irish Setter – Kerryfair Please Please Me Corphin – Upstanding male who is getting better with age. Today was the best I have seen him. He was on form and presented immaculately. He has a handsome head and has ample angulation fore and aft. Presented a lovely balanced picture when stood.

Group 4 – Cocker Spaniel – Kirlinjis Made You Wait – Lovely blue roan bitch. Pretty head. Good lay back of shoulder. Well angulated fore and after. Good coat and condition. Moved well covering the ground with ease.

BPIS – Cocker Spaniel – MacLean’s Lynwater Moon Flower – Orange roan bitch. Lovely puppy. Loved her head and expression and moved out well for one so young. She held her topline well and had enough angulation for her age. Nice puppy. BPIS.

Group 2 – Gordon Setter – Cafotaliena Heart of Hero – Nice male puppy. I would like him to grow on a bit more, but I am sure this will come with age. Nice head and well angulated. I could not deny him this spot for his effortless ground covering movement.

Group 3 – Clumber Spaniel – Nicolson’s – Knockhalon Spooktaculat of Taranstigh – Nice uppy of good size and build. Good head. Presented immaculately.

Group 4 – Weimaraner – Balmer’s Trapaleba Dior – Nice bitch of good size and shape. Sweet head and expression and moved out well.
