Northern Tibetan Spaniel Club

Thank you to the committee for all your support and for this opportunity to judge your Special Awards Classes. I was delighted with my entry. Unfortunately, some exhibits where a little out of coat which was reflected in some placings.

Cls. A 1. Oldcharm Can You Love Me at Maursett – Taylor – This young male puppy is very well developed with ample boned. He was in full coat with a black mask giving his dark eyes depth and aloof expression, although his body language gave an air of mischief. His neck was strong and well set on, in proportion to the rest of his body which was slightly longer than tall. He had a firm topline which finished with a tail carriage curled over his back. On the move he was free and positive which was expected looking at his neat hare feet. 2. Crockeme Moonshine at Caselden – Rose – Sweet little girl who is finer in bone and just out of puppy. Appealing feminine head and gentle expression high set ears with some feathering. Enough length of neck into topline unfortunate she was loosing her coat. Sufficient ribbing to loin and nicely set tail. She was light on her hare feet.

Cls. B. 1. Susu Parti in The Stars – Thompson – A very smart 2yr parti coloured male. His coat was in excellent condition and showed off his shape and balance. His head was as expected small in proportion to his body with enough width to skull and length to muzzle that had sufficient cushioning. He had, clean well laid shoulders and slight bow to fore legs his hind legs matched in angulation of his fore which gave him a light positive free stride. 2. Tamrae Parti with the Stars JW. – Thompson – Appealing girl who was very feminine and had a typical head with dark oval eyes and an aloof expression. She had a pleasant skull to muzzle ratio, perhaps a little more cushioning. Her level topline appropriate ribbing to strong loin. Her tail had a rich plum and carriage was fitting. She moved with a quick step. 3. Oldcham Peaky Love for Alanobel JW.

Cls. C. 1. Susu Prince Charming ShCEx – Thompson – Fully mature male in super condition under his profuse coat. Appealing masculine head with high set well feathered ears. Slight dome to skull and enough length of muzzle sufficient cushioning to muzzle and depth of under jaw. His topline was firm and level and his length of ribbing reached well back his hind angulation was moderate which matched his fore. On the move he was positive and free. 2. Parloueve Who’s That Girl – Lynch – Girl with a very feminine head enough muzzle and correct undershot mouth, ample coat with good feathering throughout. She had a pleasing length to height and correct length of neck. She had a firm topline with ample ribbing. She moved out free positive on lovely hared feet. 3. Linsdown Jodha.
