AV Imported Breed Register Pastoral: 5/2

1st Hackney: Of Trebons Berger Blanc Boo (Imp DNK) White Swiss Shepherd, (D) 2 ½ yrs. Masculine head, dark eye. Strong neck, onto well laid back shoulders. Nice level topline, which he held on the move. Muscular rear quarters, with strong hocks. Moved with purpose & drive. B AV IMP REG

2ND Ridgewell: Kontrastas Leonhart, White Swiss Shepherd, (D) 15 months. Another lovely masculine head, ears set on high & used to his advantage. Level topline, balanced fore & aft. Hind legs straight & parallel, strong hocks. He moved well once settled, still very much a puppy, but one to watch as he matures.

Shetland Sheepdog: Puppy 6/6 A lovely class of promising babies.

1st Robinson: Dippersmoor Dazzling Star (B) 11 months S/W Beautiful, feminine head. Sweet , kind expression. The head was balanced and she used her ears well. Well arched muscular neck, onto well laid back shoulders, straight forelegs onto lovely oval feet. Level topline, with gradual slope to croup. Balanced fore & aft & a pleasure to the eye. In beautiful coat & well presented. She moved with grace & drive from behind, covering the ground well. BPIB Puppy Group 1.

2nd Moore: Philhope By Your Side at Santiara (D) 6 months S/W another beautiful puppy, he has a handsome head. Ears well used, which added to his expression. Correct level topline, which he held on the move. Strong pasterns, nice feet, hocks strong & straight. Another economical mover, covering the ground well.

3rd Evans: Cocaro Pretty in Pink

Shetland Sheepdog: Post Graduate 6/3

1st Hirst: Sundark Symphony in Suede (B) 3yrs Tri Refined & elegant head, very feminine. She has a happy outgoing nature & a kind expression. Head planes of equal length. Ears well set & used to her advantage. Balanced body, level topline. Ribs well sprung, deep chest. In lovely coat & condition. She moved gracefully & filled my eye, beautifully presented. Best of Breed, Group 2.

2nd Mitchell & Fiddock: Keycharm Cha Cha Cha at Lowenek (B) 2yrs S/W Pretty feminine head of correct proportions, sweet expression. Correct topline, balanced all through. Moved soundly coming & going & in profile.

3rd McShane: Shelridge Sparkle Again

Shetland Sheepdog: Open Dog 3/3

1st Ch. Lavika Moonlight Storm JW (D) 2 ½ yrs Tri. Masculine head, with well set ears. Cheeks flat, muzzle well rounded, strong underjaw. Deep chest & well sprung ribs. Perfectly balanced in the body, in beautiful coat & condition. He moved well in all directions, but in the challenge I preferred the movement of my Best of Breed.

2nd Hirst: Sundark Scaramouche (D) 3 yrs B/M He is clearly a male, with balance to head, clean cheeks, strong underjaw. Body of good proportions, correct croup. Shown in lovely coat of correct texture, well presented. Moved soundly in all directions.

3rd Eldred: Philhope Flame Thrower at Belthorne

Shetland Sheepdog: Open Bitch 6/3

1st Hirst: Sundark Simply a Star VW (B) 11 yrs young Tri. Balanced, beautiful head with a kind, sweet expression. Lovely eye shape & well placed ears. Well angulated all through, with good body shape. Hocks well let down, strong & straight from behind. Moved with grace & elegance, a credit to her owner, in beautiful coat & condition.

2nd Hirst: Sundark Spirit Mistress (B) 6yrs Tri. Beautiful head, very like her Dam’s. Gentle expression. Neck of good length, strong & well arched. Level topline, lovely croup & tail set. Another lovely example from this kennel. Moved well in all directions, soundly & economically.

3rd McShane: Blenmerrow Ring of Roses

Collie (Rough): Puppy 4/3 More beautiful babies.

1st Ware: Wassail The Last Dance (B) 7 months Tri. Pretty, feminine head, well balanced. Kind, dark, almond shaped eye, with a look of mischief. Ears well set & well used, listening intently. Forelegs straight, with moderate bone, nice feet. Well coated & immaculately presented. Movement as expected in a puppy, but once settled she moved soundly.

2nd Hawkins & Flower: Serenlas Edge of Heaven (B) B/M Another beautiful head, sweet expression. Firm back with slight rise over loin, hocks well let down. Neck well arched, strong. Moved well albeit a bit excited, but once again settled into it.

1st Hawkins: Amalie A Chance To Shine (D) 4yrs Tri Masculine, head of good proportions. Well filled muzzle & strong underjaw. Correct stop & nice dark eye, kind expression. Good muscle to thighs & well bent stifles. Hocks well let down. In lovely coat & condition. Moved soundly coming & going, in profile he moved with a long easy action. BOB Group 3.

Collie (Rough): Open Bitch 2/1

1st Ware: Millubie Essence of Magic at Wassail (B) 2½ yrs Tri Pretty head, flat skull with clean cheekbones. Lovely gentle expression. Ears well set on top of head. Well balanced in body, coat well fitted & in lovely order. She moved in an effortless action.

Australian Shepherd: Sp Yrl 3/1

1st Burt: Aussiame Hot to Trot (D) 1 ½ Tri. Handsome head of good proportions, alert & keen expression. Lovely forequarters, with well laid shoulders. Forearms straight, medium bone, nice feet. Level topline, short in loin. Movement was easy, with good reach & drive.

Australian Shepherd: Post Grad 3/3

1st Scanlan: Franmar Blue Elegance (B) 6yrs B/M Feminine head, well balanced, well defined stop. Nice length to neck, onto well laid back shoulders. Level topline, held on the move. Good depth of chest. Sound in all directions, free easy movement.

2nd Richards: Accra Incendio Fire (D) 21 month’s Red Tri Masculine head, kind eye. Ears well set high on head. Strong neck, firm level topline. Moved ok, but he’s carrying extra weight which affected his movement.

1st Scanlan: Jotars Reach For The Stars with Franmar (B) 2 ½ yrs R/M Beautiful, balanced head of good proportions. Kind & expressive almond shaped eye. Ears set high on head & used well. Very nicely constructed with good angulation all round, strong firm, level topline. Moved with a smooth, easy stride in all directions. BOB

2nd Scanlan: Franmar Blue Mystique (B) 3yrs B/M Another very attractive feminine head. Gentle expression, nice ear set. Shoulders well laid back onto strong sturdy body, firm level topline. Deep chest, ribs well sprung. She moved well in all directions, but her kennel mate moved with more enthusiasm.

1st Ellis & Crosby: Tabanyaruu Borealis Bliz (B) 2yrs B/C Beautiful headpiece, which was well proportioned, she had a kind & appealing expression. Good angles fore & aft. Back firm & straight, loins short & well muscled. In beautiful coat & condition, tail set high & well furnished. Her movement in all directions was brisk & sound.

2nd Critchlow & Cooper: Pavoskas Ilomieli (B) 17 months Br/C Pretty head, kind expression. Firm, straight topline. Deep brisket, short loin well muscled. Lovely tail set & coat in good condition.

Moved in a brisk manner, especially in profile.

Finnish Lapphund: Open 2/1

1st Cooper, Cooper & Critchlow: Ch Pavoskas Aly Arttu JW ShCM ShCEx VW (D) 9 ½ yrs young. W/S What a Showman, he knows he’s still got it! Fabulous headpiece, masculine & well proportioned. Good length to neck slightly arched, onto well laid shoulders. His chest is deep & well developed. Back is firm & strong. He has well turned stifles, hocks set on low. Coat in lovely condition, harsh to the touch & beautifully presented, Tail set on high & well furnished. He moved effortlessly, his movement belies his age; he was a pleasure to go over & to watch on the move. BOB, Best Pastoral Veteran.

1st Burdett-Coutts: Ch. Leon Astarte Gold Ama Me at Chrevle (IMP POL) (D) 2 ½ yrs W/B Masculine head, of equal proportions. Well defined stop, desired big nose which protruded well from beneath his coat. Cobby in outline, neck strong onto well laid back shoulders. Level back with a broad, muscular loin. Hocks were strong and well angled. Coat dense, long & of correct texture & well presented. His movement was smooth & correct in all directions. BOB

1st Crouch: Bellpins Lovestruck (D) 13 months Grey. Attractive head, dark oval eye, sporting a mischievous, happy expression. Lovely temperament, happy & full of fun. Ears set on high, well used to his advantage. Lean in body, yet muscular. Hind quarters strong & powerful, hocks set low. Tail set on high. He has a lovely dense, curly coat. Balanced in movement, happy & energetic. BOB

1st Taylor: Darian End Game (D) 3 ½ B/W Handsome head, keen & intelligent expression. Firm back, loin a little long but muscular. Well turned stifles, strong hocks. Moved soundly, once settled. He was enthusiastic, but happy, we can’t ask for anything more. BOB

1st Coles: Gillandant Jasmine (B) 2 ½ W/G Beautifully feminine head, with no obvious stop, dark almond shaped amber brown eyes, with the most appealing expression. Shown in beautiful coat.

Forelegs straight, strong bone, double dewclaws to rear. Good length to back, which was broad, well muscled & level. She moved with the typical unhurried pace, well driven from behind, in all directions. She was a sweetheart. BOB

1st Durndell: Megamaree Once Upon a Time at Fenacre (B) 14 months B/W Pretty head, skull flat, moderate stop. Kind & soft expression, ears well set. Back level, ribs well sprung. Movement in all directions sound & smooth.

2nd Carter: Matley’s Dreamchaser Final Fling with Karmeliann (Imp Can) (B) almost 7 months B/W Another very pretty head which is developing nicely, lovely kind eye. Neck of correct length, onto well set shoulders. Hocks well let down, moved as a raw puppy will, with typical Beardie bounce & enthusiasm for life. BPIB, Puppy Grp 3.

1st Rivers: Ch. Orora’s French Silk at Merrimak JW ShCEx OSW (B) 3yrs S/W She has an absolutely beautiful head, with excellent proportions. Dark, all encompassing eyes with the sweetest expression. Well angled forequarter, correct ribbing and length of back. Low set, strong hocks. Coat of correct texture & in beautiful order. Her movement in all directions, as smooth as silk, effortless & wonderful to watch. BOB, Grp 1, AV Pastoral Champion.

1st Lee: Balletcor Godric Grifindor for Horcrux (D) 7 ½yrs R/W Masculine foxy head, good width to skull. Ears well set, kind & alert expression. Shoulders well laid back, well sprung ribs, deep broad chest. Moved with a positive, outgoing stride. BOB

2nd Lee: Rhiew Ravens Royal Tower with Balletcor (D) 7yrs R/T Handsome, typical foxy head, good eye & ear placement. Good length to back, which was well ribbed. Strong loin, well angulated stifle. Moved with purpose in all directions.

1st Lee: Chrishama Ice Diamond for Amenbury (D) 2 ½ yrs B/M Masculine head with kind expression, well set ears, used to advantage. Good underline & well sprung ribs. Well developed hind quarters. Moves with drive & purpose.

1st Lee: Wildcard Spot Check at Horcrux (D) 7yrs B/M Handsome head, skull wide & flat. Muscular neck, onto well sloped shoulders. Legs have strong bone, lovely tight feet. Level topline, well angulated fore & aft. Moved well, with a free easy action, happy on the move. BOB

2nd Siviter: Faywaidd Spice (B) 5 ½ yrs Br/W Sweet, foxy head, lovely ears of good size & set. Kind & gentle expression. Good length of neck, and lay back of shoulder. Good length of loin. Level topline. Moved well, but not quite as well as 1.

1st Jacobs-Pearce: Arundall Mithra (D) 4 ½ yrs Fawn Atrractive, handsome head. Dark brown eye, gentle expression. Strong, arched neck of good length. Level, firm topline. Well angulated, strong hocks, double dewclaws set low, as desired. Sound coming & going, moved smoothly in profile.

1st Craker: Sw Ch. Fostebrie Just Exquisite for Crakebrie JW (D) 3yrs Black Masculine, well developed head. Firm level topline, well laid back shoulders. Well angulated hind quarters, double dewclaws set on low. Coat of correct texture, slight wave. Moved soundly in all directions. BOB

2nd Sweet: Arundall Ebony (B) 5yrs Black. Pretty, feminine head, with a lovely dark eye & kind expression. Good length of neck, nicely constructed all through. Level topline & short loin. As before double dewclaws set low. Moved well in all directions.

Swedish Vallhund: Open 4/2

1st Hackney: Starvon All About Me (D) 9yrs young G/S Clean cut wedge shaped head, obviously masculine. Lovely dark eye, happy friendly expression. Strong jaw well set ears. Moderate angles fore & aft. Neck of good length, strong & muscular. Moved freely from all angles. BOB

2nd Poulton: Meddobe Spice Girl (B) G/S Very pretty head, kind dark eyes. Strong neck, onto well laid back shoulders. Back level, short loin, well sprung ribs. Moved soundly, with minimum lift to feet,

Samoyed: Sp Yrl 3/1

1st Prout: Olimpia Maltayed at Furzeland (IMP POL) (B) 13 months Beautiful head, wedge shaped, with flat skull. Ears set well apart & used well. Well laid shoulders & back of medium length. Shown in lovely jacket, profuse tail which was well set. Enthusiastic movement, she was happy & full of cheek. But once settled she moved with elegance & drive. A lovely youngster.

Samoyed: Limit 4/3

1st Prout: Frosti Fluff at Furzeland (B) 2 ½ yrs Another lovely feminine head, typical happy smiley expression. Well laid shoulders, straight legs & well off for bone. Sound topline & well muscled rear quarters. Hocks strong & well let down, stifles well angulated. Moved freely in all directions, elegant and economical.

2nd Meakin & Turner: Plyushka Polar Star (D) 4 ½ yrs. Obviously male, balanced head of good proportions. Dark pigment & eyes set obliquely, he has a kind & friendly expression. He was balanced all thru, with good bone & substance. Beautiful plumed tail, well set & carried proudly. Moved well, but not quite as fluently as 1.

Samoyed: Open 3/2

1st Prout: Jackson Maltayed at Furzeland (IMP POL) (D) 3yrs Broad masculine head, flat skull. Dark almond eyes well set ears giving a lovely expression. Shoulders well laid back, deep chest, well sprung ribs. Level topline, beautifully furnished tail. Covered the ground in an elegant manner, with purpose & drive. BOB

2nd Argyle: Elygra Ice Poetry in Motion (B) 5 ½ yrs Pretty, wedge shaped head with broad, flat skull. Well set rounded ears, dark eye & pigmentation. Kind expression. Well laid shoulders, leading onto straight legs with good bone. Well sprung ribs, deep chest. In lovely jacket & tail well plumed. Moved well in all directions.

1ST Dosson: Legatt’s Part Time Lover (D) Norwegian Buhund Wheaten 13 months Masculine, wedge shape to head. Dark brown eyes, with a bold expression. Ears set on high & animated. Level topline, short coupled, deep chest. Moved soundly, covering the ground well with confidence.

2nd Rundle: Shulune Imperial Bonny Blue (B) 13 months B/M Pretty, clean wedge shaped head. Sweet, kind expression, ears well used. Well arched neck, onto sloping shoulders. Level topline, with slight rise as desired over the loin. Moved soundly, but a little erratic in profile, but I can forgive that, as she’s still quite immature.

AVNSC Pastoral Open: 6/4

1st Wensley: Ch. Constella Hazy Cosmic Jive JW (D) 3yrs Smooth Collie Tri Well balanced, masculine head with parallel planes. Sweet expression, kind eyes, ears well set. Good length of neck, level topline. Well balanced front & rear. Well arched neck which added elegance to his profile. Sound in movement, when viewed in profile his movement was smooth, effortless and elegant. BAVNSC

2nd Frost, Frost-Treadwell, & Walmsley: Trelowen Amelia at Frostisen (B) 7yrs Norwegian Buhund Wheaten Feminine, wedge shaped head darkest of eyes with a lively, keen expression, Strong arch to her neck. Straight back, short muscled loin, tail set on high. Straight in movement coming & going, in profile she has a light spring to her step.

1st Siviter: Rubegud Takin the Mick ShCM VW (D) 11 yrs young. Brindle, Cardigan Corgi. Handsome foxy head of excellent proportions. He had a happy outgoing personality & just wanted to please (which he did) Shoulders well laid, deep in the brisket. Topline level, fairly long but strong & muscular. Lovely tight, round feet. Moved with confidence & with a free agile action which belies his age. A credit to his owner.

2nd Lee: Louis Blanchette at Amenbury (D) 10 ½ yrs B/M Australian Shepherd. Attractive, balanced masculine head. Ears set on high giving a pleasing wise, expression. Firm level topline, ribs well sprung. Hocks well let down, firm & strong. Movement was free & easy covering the ground well.
