GOLDEN RETRIEVERS –

P (4,1). A class full of promising puppies all at different stages. 1st Mains’ Putjade Perran By Gwyngala, mid gold short coupled young lad of 7½ months, head just beginning to come together, correct bite, adequate reach of neck leading into good front assembly, deep in chest with good spring of rib, stood on good feet & moved well, shown in super coat, liked his overall balance & happy demeanor, BP & PG2 well done! 2nd Scuffle & Ennis Van Marens’ Ramchaine A Red Red Rose (ATC BB47060NLD), pleasing pretty-headed pale gold 7½ month B, slightly longer in loin than my winner & needs time to come together, moved well. 3rd Henson & Luckhams’ Flyngalee Enterprise (ai).

PG (10,5) Litter mates headed this lovely class, 1st Clunies’ Warrentor Nohkalikai JW, mid gold bitch I have judged as a young junior & I have not changed my opinion of her, at just over 2 she is now beginning to mature & fulfil her early promise , beautiful head with the kindest dark eyes, good reach of neck, super angles fore & aft, tight at elbows with great depth of chest, stood on the best of feet, text book topline which she maintained on the move, scores in super balance from any angle, shown in hard condition, not in full coat but couldn’t be denied her top honours today, BOB. 2nd Merricks’ Warrentor Tourmakeady, litter brother to my winner & many attribute apply, masculine without any coarseness, shown in super coat but couldn’t match his sister on movement today. 3rd Coads’ Tinklersroc Bon Bon.

L (2,1) 1st Hensons’ Cinderbank Move It JW, well-presented pale gold 2-year-old bitch who stood alone, very feminine balanced head, balanced & short coupled with good spring of rib, moved well.

OD (2,1) 1st Clunies’ Warrentor Bold As Brass JW, mature lad with a cracking head, shown in full coat, good balance throughout but for me would like a tad more length of neck, lovely tight feet, another shown in good hard condition which was evident on the move.

OB (8,4) 1st Clunies’ Warrentor Caipirinha JW Mother of PG winner, she shows balance & good angulation throughout, super coat & condition, still has lovely ring presence & flowed effortlessly around the ring with a cheeky grin, now a veteran but still in top form RBOB. 2nd McCammicks’ Saffdales My Memoir To Inca, 2-year-old mid gold bitch, very feminine head, correct bite, lovely length of neck, good layback of shoulder, super topline & tailset, moved well coming & going, shown in the best of coats, unlucky to meet 1 today. 3rd Chans’ Lovissa Hello Dolly Of Wemcrest.
