Open Show 16th October at Three Counties Showground with Gundog Society of Wales Ch Show.

I was more than thrilled to be offered this appointment by the Association and I thoroughly enjoyed going over the exhibits as well as how sporting all exhibitors were,thankyou all very much for allowing me the pleasure of going over your dogs,and thankyou to GSOW for the excellent hospitality.Luckilly we were inside as it absolutely hammered it down during the show .A very informative and educatuional day.

I big thankyou also to our hard working Steward Ann Stephenson who also had to contend with the attentions of the KC Field Officer .

MPD(1).1. Thomas,Arcticbreeze On The Double,(AI)Good quality typy youngster,quite well balanced body to leg length at this age ,correct skull to muzzle proportions and a round dark eye with handsome eyebrows which lended to a lovely attentive expression,coat is coming along and starting to get that rustic feel that is desirable,good front angulation and a straight topline ,straight front and round arched front feet,could be a little more energy in the movement but kept his topline.

PD(2). 1.Bond.Spencer Tracy.10 month old and turning into a very handsome chap,Square profile with good proportions throughout,got that nice texture to his coat,correct slightly convex domed skull ,strong muzzle with large blunt open nose and strong jawline,short strong neck and good front angulation ,well laid shoulder into straight topline and sloping croup,Nice length to stifle and strong hocks used very well on the move,excellent youngster,BP.2 Webb and Ferguson,Tigre Di Casa Ghini,A good balanced body length to height to this 10 month old and correct skull length to muzzle,coat is not there yet being short on good texture curl but will come,straight forearms and narrow in front widening for the chest behind the elbows and parallel underline back to the loins,would have preferre4d a better croup angle and tailset which put him behind 1 and a little erratic on the move .

JD (2) 1.Mort.Mad Max Madiba Of Freworth.Attractive balanced head with correct skull and muzzle dimensions,coat is well curled with a good feel,high set ears and alert round keen eyes,would prefe r the neck a little shorter but good shoulders and straight front with strong oval bone,webbed feet,nicely muscled rear thighs and strong wide hock,moved with energy and drive.2.as puppy.

PGD (1). Willott.Arcticbreeze On vacation.Compact square and presented in excellent condition,very good texture to the coat ,attractive masculine head with wide blunt nose.strong well muscled quarters with good angulation,short neck into well laid shoulder and straight topline,good action to his movement ,lost out to open dog for honours on maturity and very fine points of balance.

OD.(3.1)1.Mort.Il Granario Del Malatesta Rublo At Arcticbreeze.Lovely square and proportioned dog,very well balanced head with correct set ears,domed skull ,strong muzzle and keen alert expression from beautiful dark eye and bushy eyebrows,well laid shoulders and straight topline to sloping croup,in good coat but I would prefer more texture to it,very good angulation with muscled strong quarters ,driving on the move from strong hocks.BD.BIS.2.Bond.Multi Ch Kan Trace Remus Emit.A well presented balanced dog with attractive attentive expression,domed skull just longer than muzzle and a strong short neck and straight topline to correct tailset,coat was a little more woolly and loose than ideal ,nice straight front but a little wider than I prefer,round arched front feet,and strong muscular rear quarters ,very close but in the end I preferred the energy and drive in the movement of 1 .

JB (1)Mort,Arcticbreeze Top Secret.Really liked her head which had a nice shaped skull,high set ears ,strong jawline,and an attractive alert expression, very nice curl to the coat,good neck shorter than head length set into excellent well laid shoulders ,good topline and correct slope to croup,well formed angulation and nicely muscling up on first and second thighs strong hocks and a very good active movement.NB.(1).Mort,Arcticbreeze Keep A Secret.Litter sister to J Class and quite similar in balance and proportions , head and body length to height,nice straight front with oval bone and chest widening behindthe elbows from 6th rib allowing chest development and flowing underline to loin,well bent stifles and good musculature to rear end,would just like to see her steadier on the move but has a bright future.PG(2)1.Whittick,Moonreed Warbler At Allsong,Really liked this attractive lady with a square rustic presentation and a great texture to her curly coat,super head with slightly convex domed skull ,wide strong muzzle and jaw and blunt wide nose set off by a really feminine expression ,good shoulder upper arm angulation and sloping topline ,also liked her rear end angulation which was well muscled,very good pasterns and feet, energetic movement .BB.2.Heller,Arcticbreeze Hopscotch to Floreydown,nicely balanced head with high set ears and attractive round dark eye and lovely bushy eyebrows,short strong neck but I didn,t find the front angulation balance in the upper arm/shoulder that would have given her a better profile,Straight foream with a correct narrow front and a good deep chest behindthe elbows flowing to a strong loin and rear thighs ,wide hocks and neat feet,nice coat texture.OB(3.1)1.Mort ,Arcticbreeze Truth Or Dare.Very typy square dog with proportions to height and length in balance,feminine head with correct domed skull and a strong wide muzzle,lovely eyes giving a super expression,Strong neck shorter than head length and a nice wide and open nose,excellent topline and underline and a good rustic texture to her coat,her front angulation not entirely ideal but rear angulation was strong and muscled and her movement was bright active and balanced. 2.Whittick,Allsong Nuova Luna.Well presented bitch attractive and feminine in profile,lovely expression from a beautiful dark eye which was attentive and alert,well fashioned head properties and elegant neck into well laid shoulder and straight topline to a sloping croup,narrow in the chest in front widening behind the elbow,long second thigh and wide strong hocks,would have liked to see a more active driving movement for which she lost out to 1.
