Rough Collies

Junior (3,1) 1st Edwards Elshajo Perfect Valentine - sable & white, 11 month old male, well matured for his age, an abundance of coat but groomed to perfection. Sweet expression with almond eyes and well used ears. Good body and outline, Well constructed and muscled front and rear angulations. Moved round the ring ok however just lacked enthusiasm. BPIB & PASTORAL PUPPY GROUP 1.

2nd Skinners Ladnar Makeithappen For Nikal - Blue merle 14 month old male, loved the head and construction on this boy, pleasing head, well moulded fore face. Almond eyes placed well on his head, well set ears which he used well. Ample neck flowing into a well placed front angulation. Good length of back and spring of rib. His overall shape was lovely however just let himself down when asked to move. Front and rear needs tightening and some training is required, settled well in the next class, would like to see him in the future when fully matured.

Post Graduate (4,0)

1st Beardsworths Maysinder Sapphire Reign - Blue Merle 2 year old female, This bitch was a pleasure to look at and to put my hands on. When standing in the class her outline shone at you as well as her beautiful colour. Her head was pleasing to go over, well moulded for face, good under jaw, correctly placed stop, almond eyes and correctly placed ears. Her expression could be sweeter but that didn’t put me off. Correct angulation on her front and rear, beautiful flowing neck into a good length of back. Moved around the ring effortlessly, the only thing stopping her is her temperament, she just lacks confidence and that “Impassive dignity” we look for. I hope one day it comes RBOB.

2nd Edwards Camanna Paulara Cissy Spacek - Sable and White 3 year old female, Again another pretty girl who was beautifully presented, feminine head, well moulded muzzle, sweet almond shaped eyes placed well and correctly placed ears which she used none stop. Good reach of neck and was well angulated throughout giving a lovely shape on the stack. Movement was ok however needed slightly more training with the handler.

 3rd Garside’s Barrenclough Golden Lily.

Open (7,2)

This was a class filled with quality, at one point I felt like I was judging a championship show! 1st Flower’s Serenlas Pumpkin Spice JW - Sable and White 2 year old female of good quality! She was lacking in coat however this enhanced her shape in the line up. Her head was clean, smooth and pleasing to go over. Well moulded muzzle of good length, Strong underjaw, correct stop in between sweet almond shaped eyes and correctly placed and tipped ears. Flat backskull leading into a well arched neck. Her overall shape was beautiful. Plenty of bone and substance. Moved effortlessly around the ring, I made these dogs work today and this bitch could have gone all day without stopping. BOB & Pastoral Group 2.

2nd Geddes Ingledene Sno Wanda - Blue Merle 5 year old female again of good quality! Gleaming coat of good colour. Clean and smooth muzzle of good length and strong underjaw. Correctly placed stop in between almond shaped eyes obliquely set. Flat backskull in between correctly placed and tipped ears. Well arched neck of good length. Overall shape was very attractive. Plenty of bone and substance. Moved steadily around the ring however just lacked the ring presence as my winner and just lacked confidence. I was nit picking between her and the winner.
