A lovely show with a garden party atmosphere in beautiful surroundings. Excellent hospitality and friendly, efficient stewards. Some lovely entries marred by absentees possibly due to the heat.

Australian Shepherd

J (2, 1)

1. Stopford's Amberslade Made In Dublin. Attractive ten month old black tri male, well grown, nice head and expression, well off for bone, good feet, well angulated front and rear and holds a good topline although would perhaps like him a touch shorter in back. Moved well after an unsettled start. RBOB and BP.

G (6, 4)

1. Burt's Aussiame Hot To Trot JW. Twenty month old black tri male, balanced head with a broad skull and strong muzzle, good feet and plenty of bone, rather long cast, topline tends to waver with a bit of a dip behind the withers, moving ok, 2. Summerley's Accra The Triwizard. Eighteen month old black tri bitch, pretty head and expression although head could perhaps be broader, a bit light on bone but good proportions throughout and shown in good coat and condition, moved with enthusiasm.

1. Burt's Save The Tears For Another Day with Aussiame (Imp ITA). Three year old black tri male, lovely head and expression, good overall proportions, decent bone and tight feet, good length of back and with excellent angulation. Tends to kick up a bit behind but covers the ground well. BOB. 2. Summerley's Scullymadra Green Hill. Pretty black tri bitch carrying her nine years well, enough bone, feet could be tighter, holds her topline on the move which she did with drive.

Norwegian Buhund

1. Dosson's Kligenthal Bran Mak Morn. Four year old wheaten male, with a balanced head and good ear carriage, dark eyes, decent bone and good topline, well proportioned throughout, moving well. BOB. 2. Dosson's Leggatts Part Time Lover. RBOB and BP. Nine month old wheaten male, good head and expression, a tad upright in shoulder, good topline and nice tight feet, moving with an easy action. 3. Crocker's Leggatts Superstition.

Hungarian Puli

O (1)

1. Sharpe & Dyer's Ch Catsun Comanche Legacy ShCex. Seven year old black male, super type, balanced outline with no exaggeration, good head, well angulated and in fabulous coat, moved very well with a neat side gait. BOB.

Hungarian Pumi

1. Crouch's Bellpins Lovestruck. Ten month grey male, lovely head with good length of muzzle, well used ears, square outline and holding topline on the move, enough angulation and moving very well. BOB and BP. 2. Smith's Cuidado Yikes Y'All (Imp HUN). RBOB. Seven year old black bitch, feminine head and lovely expression, good front, topline tends to fall away behind, enough bone, lost out on movement to (1).

Samoyed

1. Prout's Olimpia Maltayed at Furzeland (Imp POL). Ten month old bitch with a lovely head and expression, neat, well used ears, dark eyes, good front angulation, topline tends to fall away a tad, in super coat and condition and moving very well, just needs time to tighten up all round. RBOB and BP. 2. Adams' Zara Queen Of The Holiday avec Saroxsha (Imp RUS). Three year old bitch, nice head, overall well balanced, pasterns could be firmer, coat not at its best today, and couldn't match the winner for movement.

1. Prout's Jackson Maltayed at Furzeland (Imp POL). Very typy two year old male with a masculine head, well placed eyes and ears, very well grown, balanced in outline, excellent front, well ribbed and correct length of back, good rear angulation, good feathering on feet, moving with drive. BOB. Pleased to see him take the Pastoral Group.

1. Hackney's Starvon All About Me. Eight year old grey sable male, masculine head with well used ears and dark eyes, well boned with a good front, topline not as firm as I would like, and heat was affecting his movement, in good coat and condition. BOB.

Welsh Corgi (Cardigan)

1. Siviter's Faywaidd Spice. Five year old brindle and white bitch, strong but feminine head with well used ears, good front and forechest, held her strong topline on the move, well angulated both ends, in lovely coat and condition, moved well. BOB.

1. Robinson's Robinsteck A Star Is Born. Four year old brindle and white bitch, strong but feminine head, good front, excellent topline, good angulations both ends, nice type, tended to pace at first but improved on the go round. BOB and Working Group 3. 2. Richards' Markinshell Pombear at Dajoxx. Six year old red and white male, masculine head, good front, not quite the overall outline of (1), moving ok. RBOB.

Bullmastiff

1. Cox's Blue Thunder Of Black Hunar at Rainwilds (Imp NLD). Nine month old red male, super attitude from this well grown baby with lovely head and expression, good front, excellent topline, enough angulation and moving very well. BOB, BP and Working Puppy Group 1. 2. Cox's Ardhub Ar Ais Sa Dubh at Rainwilds. Six and a half year old brindle male, strong masculine head, rather too much wrinkling for me, well proportioned throughout, struggling in the heat so had to give way to the youngster today.

1. Cox's Alonzobar Wyle Ecoyote at Rainwilds. Five year old brindle male, masculine head, good front, level topline, enough angulation, moving well. RBOB and BRBOB in Group. 2. Cox's Gertlush Nimueh for Rainwilds. Two and a half year old red bitch, head could be broader, good outline and held her topline, just enough angulation and moving well.

Dobermann

G (3, 1)

1. Groves & Hyett's Lateagain Wish Upon A Star. Ten month old black and tan bitch, well proportioned feminine head with dark eyes, good front and correct topline held on the move, decent angulation both ends, moved out well. RBOB, BP and Working Puppy Group 3. 2. Meaden & Jeans' Grafmax Golden Years. Ten month old brown bitch, lovely colour and nicely grown, balanced head, and good overall propertions. Tended to pace on the go round, but got better as she started to get the hang of it.

1. Webb & Mullins' BIH CH Protocol's The Midas Touch (Imp USA) JW. At eighteen months this stunning black and tan docked male owned the ring - he has a fabulous outline, very masculine head, good front and rear angulation, correct topline, and moved out with drive, well handled and presented. BOB and Working Group 1. 2. Caldicott's Aritaur Cirilla with Philmont. Seventeen month old black and tan bitch, lovely feminine head, super outline, perhaps carrying a little extra weight but a very nice type and moved ok. 3. Bowdler's Lateagain Zenyatta for Inverteign.

German Pinscher

1. Kohlman's Brintala Apollo. Four year old red male, lovely head proportions, mid brown eyes, well placed neat ears, good front, slightly sloping topline, perhaps a tad taller in proportions than I would like, decent hind angulation, well muscled, moving ok on the go round but tends to crab going away. BOB.

Newfoundland

1. Royle's Royleway Cinderella. Four year old black bitch, strong but feminine head, overall proportions good, strong topline, well angulated front and rear, not wearing her best jacket today, moving well. BOB.

Rottweiler

1. Lefebvre-King's Buttonlove She's Ice Baby. Fourteen month bitch, lovely head and expression, good front, good overall proportions, well muscled, can tend to fall away behind when standing, handler must not overstretch, moved very well. BOB and Working Group 4. 2. James & Thompson's Upend Floozy. Six month old baby girl, super temperament, head balanced, nice expression, good topline, just needs time to get herself together on the move. BP and Working Puppy Group 2. 3. Lefebvre-King's Buttonlove A New Hope.

1. Lefebvre-King's Buttonlove My Dashing Lad. Eight year old male, masculine head, would prefer slightly more muzzle, good front, decent topline well muscled and in excellent condition for his age. Moved well but had to give way to the youngster in the challenge. RBOB.

1. Probert's Morwinas Warhammer (Leonberger). Almost three year old male, well grown, masculine head, very good front and lovely outline, well angulated and moving out well. BAVNSC and Working Group 2.
