Firstly I would like to extend my thanks to the officers and committee of the Canine Society for their kind invitation to judge. I would also like to thank my steward for his help today and finally the exhibitors for their entries and acceptance of my decisions. All dogs entered today were of excellent temperament and a credit to their owners. 

Alaskan Malamute 

Post Graduate

1. Perfitt Samjoe Shadowhunter JW. Boisterous male of 19 months. Pleasing masculine head with medium brown eye of correct shape. His overall proportions are good with a sloping top line and moderate angulation. Tight feet. Well furred tail carried correctly. Movement slightly erratic in a small ring.

1. Perfitt Samjoe From Russia with Love JW. 3 year old female with so much to like, she.is so feminine. Beautiful head with small neat ears and eyes of correct shape and colour. Correct bite. Strong arched neck into slightly sloping top line. Deep chest and correct body portions giving an overall look of power and strength. Tight feet. Tail carried correctly as waving plume. Her movement is effortless covering the ground with ease. Best of Breed. WG4

Bernese Mountain Dog 

Junior 

1. Jefferson Elbrusbern Amadeus. Substantial male of 15 months with masculine head. Dark eye. Correct bite. Strong top line and moderate angles. Standing on tight feet. Moved well in a small ring 

2. Horn Westholincar Born and Bred Promising youngster of just 12 months who needs time to mature. Her overall breed type is good but as expected her top line needs to strengthen. Tight feet Moved well.

Post Graduate 

1.Scott & Corrigan Bernhaus On Oka Shikaria to Scobern Two and a half year old female of good breed type. Pleasing feminine head. Body of good proportions and moderate angulation. Slightly unsure today making movement difficult to assess.

1. Scott & Corrigan Bernhaus On Oka Mikon to Scobern Male of four and a half years with excellent masculine head. Eyes of correct colour of shape. Well placed ears. Ample bone giving the impression of substance. Powerful neck into a strong backline with rounded rump. Tail carried correctly. Moved steadily in a small ring. Best of Breed.

Dogue de Bordeaux

1. Moran Aibrean All that I Know. Female of two years. Excellent breed type with pleasing head correct eye and ear. Good deep muzzle with undershot bite. Correct body proportions. Well muscled. Moved and presented well.

1. Moran Aibrean Kenzo. Substantial male of 2 years. Litter brother to Post Graduate winner and many of the same attributes apply. There is no doubting his masculinity with his excellent head and ample bone. Pleased to award him Best of Breed as just preferred his overall balance and ring presence.

1. Jones Damarkann Dare to Dream with Bondor.

Harlequin baby at just six months at her first show and slightly overwhelmed. Feminine head in balance with her size with square lips Correct scissor bite. Neck of good length into a level backline. Good angles fore and aft. Movement difficult to assess due to being unhappy today. Promising puppy. Best Puppy.

1. Jones Samdice Ali Di Liberta with Bondor. Feminine female of three years old, who is of good breed type. Pleasing head with dark mask. Ears of medium size. Dark eye showing slight haw. Correct bite. Standing in profile she is well balanced with adequate bone and good proportions. Moved well in the small ring .Best of Breed.

Newfoundland 

Junior

1. Duff Titanbears Excommunicado. Very promising male puppy of ten months with lots to like. He has a beautiful masculine head with a lovely dark eye. His overall confirmation is excellent with a level top line and moderate angles. Moved well with excellent tail carriage

Best Puppy 

2. Duff Titanbears Redemption Litter sister to winner with many of the same attributes. Excellent breed type with pleasing feminine head unfortunate to be against her brother today who just triumphed in overall balance.

Post Graduate 

1. McIntyre,Yates & Hall Shirebears Mystify with Edbear 21 mth old brown male with a breed typical head that oozes masculinity. Overall body proportional are good but would prefer a straighter front . Ample bone. Movement was erratic but he settled enough to see that he was sound.

Black male of 3 years that oozes quality. Excellent masculine head with dark eye Correct bite. Strong neck into well laid shoulder. Deep chest and well ribbed. Level top line into strong hindquarters. Coped well with small ring exhibiting typical Newfoundland gait on the move with correct tail carriage. Best of Breed WG1

2. McIntyre Shirebears Enchanter For Edbear. Mature black male of 3 years. Excellent breed type , shorter on leg than winner . Overall conformation good standing on good feet. Moved well but tail carried slightly high.

Rottweiler

1. Lambert Seittor Voodoo Spell. Young lady of 13th months Feminine Head with correct dark eye and well placed ears of correct size. Lovely tranquil expression. Correct scissor bite. In profile she is well balanced with a straight front, level top line and moderate angles Tight feet. Moved well in a challenging small ring. Best of Breed. WG3

2. Cavanagh Ladesco Let's Get Crazy. Another quality youngster just out of puppy. She has good breed type with many of the same qualities of the winner but i preferred the cleaner head of one. Strong neck into a level top line. Correct angles front and rear. Moved well.

Siberian Husky 

Junior

1. Patrick Siberiadrift White Winter. Quality female of 17 months Foxy head with eye of correct shape and colour Well placed ears. Correct scissor bite. Lovely expression. Well balanced in profile with good fore and hind quarters. Standing on good feet. Effortless movement with fox brush tail carried correctly . Presented in excellent order.

2. Allen-Davern Siberiadrift Trick or Treat. Very raw female of just 6 mths who needs time to develop. Feminine head with dark eye slightly round in shape. Correct scissor bite. Body proportions are pleasing but as expected need time to strengthen. Would prefer better tail carriage. Moved and handled well. Best Puppy.

Easily the hardest class I had to judge today so many excellent specimens. Thank you for the opportunity to lay hands on your dogs. Today I wished we judged on the FCI system where worthy dogs receive recognition.

1. Allen- Davern CH Siberiadrift Keep the Love for Zimavolk. Hard to believe this red male is now a Veteran at over 7 years. I have long admired him and he does not disappoint. A male that excels in breed type. Masculine head of correct proportions giving a fabulous expression. He exudes balance and is not overdone in anyway

Tireless movement with tail carried correctly. Presented well. Best of Breed WG2

2. O'Dell Lyfearon She is a Wild Flower Howlvalley 

Quality female of 3 years with lots to like and who was unfortunate to meet the winner today. Feminine head with correct eye giving her a lively expression . Her conformation is well balanced with correct angles. In excellent coat with correct fox brush tail .Moved and handled well.

1. Lowes Power of Love From Ghom-Khyi TAF Female of 15mths. Feminine head with the darkest of eye . Medium ear carried correctly. Scissor bite. Adequate bone. Well balanced in profile with excellent tight feet. Presented in good coat Moved soundly. Best of Breed

2. Doran Tamrin Rinchien Female of 19 months, different type than winner. Pleasing head with good bone. Overall conformation is good with moderate angles. Moved well. Just preferred the overall balance of the winner.

Correct bite. Balanced in profile she has ample bone. Strong level top line with high set tail. Moved and handled well. Best Puppy WPG1 & RBPIS
