Puppy (3/1)

1st Morton & Milicevic’s – BITCON PUT A SPELL ON YOU 7mth (B) Just a baby but what a super outline, certainly lively and loving her day in the ring. Correct head with moderate width and median line apparent. Moderately long and muscular neck. Pasterns upright and nice tight elbows. Still needs to body up a little and could carry a little more weight but this will come. Tail carriage correct. Nice feet. Moved out so well for a baby lively and ground covering. Pleased to award her Best Puppy – one to watch in future.

2nd Aynsley’s – VIZASH HEIRESS OF CAORUNN 11mth (B) More mature bitch with lots to like, only missed the top spot today on movement, just a little untidy going away. Lovely head shape, noble in appearance. Neck muscular and moderately long, shoulders well laid back, correct topline, chest fairly broad. Feet correct and nice topline, moved really well in profile.

1st McCulloch & Robertson’s – DINNSEARMOR’S GLENLOCHY 3yrs (D) Certainly a dog this one, masculine head, correct proportions, noble expression. Neck muscular and moderately long, Shoulders well laid back, Good depth of chest. Nice moderate rear angulation and hocks well let down. Tail carriage a little high but moved out well, nice lively trot.

1st Hamiltons – GUNFIELD NORDIC BEAUTY 5yrs (B) Feminine head, correct with visible median line. Neck moderate and well laid back shoulder. Chest fairly broad. Front could be straighter. Moderate rear angles, accurate mover in profile, a little messy coming to. 

2nd McCulloch & Robertson’s – DINNSEARMOR’S GLENLOCHY (Repeat)

1st Aynsley’s – RECUERDO MONIKA OF CAORUNN 7yrs (B) Presents a super balanced profile. Super head, neck muscular and moderately long, shoulders well laid back. Correct topline, Chest moderately deep, nice straight front, pasterns could be a little stronger. Nice rear angles. Movement accurate in all profiles, loved the effortless and lively trot, handled to advantage. Very pleased to award her Best of Breed and see her make a shortlist for Best In Show, congratulations.

2nd McCormack’s – ROUGHSHOOT ONBOARD 4yrs (B) Good head and eye, neck correct and well laid shoulder. Front could be a little straighter , pasterns upright, and correct feet. Moderate rear angles. Moved out well but couldn’t match accuracy of 1.

1st Dodd & Hayes – DOLGOS NIMROD OHAJ FOR ELFRINDEW 12 mnth (B) On the smaller side of the standard although still some growing to do. Feminine all through, Head correct with skull / muzzle proportions correct. Neck muscular and slightly arched, shoulders well placed. Chest deep enough reaching to the elbows, level topline. Moderate rear angles. In good coat. Moved well, ground covering, a little uncertain of the noise I think at first but settled well.

2nd Rooney’s – FITZROVIA BORN TO BE WILD 13 mnth (D) Lovely head of correct proportions, in decent coat. Neck muscular with correct level back, and rise over croup. Chest deep enough, could be straighter in forelegs. Slightly longer in body than 1. Moved out well, just not as clean as 1 today.

1st Elders – SH CH ENRYB SKY BLUE 3yrs (B) Super balanced dog, presenting the correct profile. Head proportions correct, neck muscular into well laid back shoulder. Topline correct. Super front, Chest deep reaching the elbow, elbows tight, super feet, tight and well arched. Clean mover in all profiles, was a stand out for me today and well deserved Best of Breed.

2nd Elders – ENERYB PINK PANTHER 2yrs (D) Presents a slightly longer in profile dog, masculine with super head, muscular neck, correct topline. Moderate rear angles, could be a little straighter in foreleg. A little messy on the move today, I think not helped by kennel mate in the ring with owner in front of him.

Puppy (3/0)

1st Dodd & Hayes–LAGOPUSMOOR BLACK MANDALA ON ELFRINDEW 6mnth (B) Wow what a super youngster at just 6 months, super condition and muscle tone, presenting a lovely profile. Not the most common of colours being all black, head still to develop a little but correct well proportioned to body, correct eye, correct ear set. Neck moderately long with a slight arch, good shoulder, muscular. Nice straight forelegs and super feet. Thighs well muscled, well bent stifles. Movement smooth, and ground covering, with a super reach and drive. Serious consideration for best of breed but just needs to mature a little more. Best Puppy and very pleased to hear she went on to Best Puppy In Show at her first ever show, huge congratulations I look forward to following her career. 

2nd Garvey’s – RICHTIG RAHUE 11mnth (D) So obviously a boy, masculine head, broad and slightly rounded. A well muscled up boy coming to the end of puppy. Neck moderately long, sloping shoulder and well muscled. Good straight foreleg and compact feet. Would like a bit more bend of stifle. Moved out well just a little untidy going away.

Special Yearling (5/1)

1st McMurdo’s – CEILLOCH EXPRESS 13 mnth (D) Won the class on overall balance and movement. Really nice typy dog with a correct head in proportion to body, masculine and balanced. Neck fairly long and slightly arched, shoulders sloping and muscled up. Deep chest. Straight forelegs and nice feet. Best mover in the class, moved well in all profiles. 

2nd Brown’s – MONTALBA MISS ACHING 1 yr (B) Another with really nice overall type. Correct head & eye. Neck fairly long and muscled up. Front correct, pasterns could be a little tighter. Angles moderate and moved out well, just a little messy behind today.

Post Graduate (3/0)

1st Ryan’s – MAGREGOR PEPPERMINT MOON Finer all through, but of super type. Moved out really well with excellent reach and drive. Head correct, eyes could be a little darker, forelegs straight and deep chest. Good compact feet. Well bent stifles, well muscled up.

2nd McCafferty’s – THORSCRAG ARORA 3yrs (B) Another feminine finer bitch, Correct head, neck moderately long, slightly arched, well muscled. Shoulders sloping. Forelegs could be straighter. Moved out well but could match accuracy of winner.

1st Stewart’s – MAGREGOR AMOURETTE AVEC LEVAGRAD 4yrs (B) Super type, very much owned the class today. Feminine & Balanced, clean mover in all profiles. Straight forelegs, compact feet. Chest deep enough, neck moderately long and well muscled. Good shoulder. Good tail carriage. Well bent stifle, and well muscled thighs. Very well deserved Best of Breed, Congratulations.

2nd Dodd & Hayes – JHEBRON JENO VIA ELFRINDEW 4 yrs (D) All Male, Balanced in profile, in super muscled condition. Chest deep, straight forelegs, well muscled shoulder. Feet compact. Stifles well bend and super muscle tone. Moved out really well, just a little untidy going away. Could easily swop places with 1.

1st Hillis – BAREVE BEST BY MAGIC 4yrs (D) Overall Balance won the class today and BOB today. Broad Skull and correct proportions in head, moderate stop. Muscular sloping shoulder. Correct straight forelegs. Deep chest. Feet compact and oval shaped. Moved out well covering the ground. 

2nd Osborne & Blanco’s – LUX VOM MAIBROOK (IMP DEU) 4yrs (D) Well up to size masculine boy this one. Super coat and head of correct proportions. Could carry a little less weight as this effected his movement a little I felt. Slightly longer in profile than 1.

Open (1/0) 1st Thomson’s – SARSCOTTAH ECLIPSE 1yr (B) Lovely balanced dog when stood. Having a lot of fun today and giving the handler a bit of a hard time. When she comes together her movement is good but just a little messy at the moment at the junior stage. Correct head proportions. Moderate neck with a slight arch, good sloping shoulder. Topline level and held well when settled. BOB

1st Murray’s – SILBERSTERN RUMOUR HAS IT AROUND RACHMOR 17m (B) A little phased by the surroundings in the hall today but stood out in the class today, nice type, super head, moderately long, with a moderate stop, ears correct, neck moderately long, straight forelegs. Chest deep with well sprung rib, well turned stifles, nice compact feet. Moved out well ground covering and holding the topline well. 

2nd Cairns – LAMARG SILVER HUNTSMAN 17m (D) Another nice type. Moderately long neck and chest deep, forelegs straight. Would like the feet a little lose at the moment, could be the floor, which was a little slippery. Good topline, moderate rear angles.

Post Graduate (4/1)

1st White & Scougall’s – GREYSPIRIT WAIT’S OVER AT SILVERKELVIN 2yrs (D) Moderately long head, good head proportions, neck moderately long. Straight forelegs. Nice feet well arched. Moved out well, ground covering and accurate when settled. Stood out in the challenge today for type, and balance. Best of Breed.

2nd Jamieson’s - GREYSPIRIT KEPT ME WAITING 2yrs (D) Litter brother of the winner with very similar attributes. Just preferred the accuracy of movement of 1. Head of good proportions, neck correct and again nice straight forelegs. Little untidy going away.

1st MacLaine & Dickson’s – GREYSPIRIT ROCKSTAR FROM HANTZBURG 6yrs (D) Nice type, head of correction proportions with slight median line. Nice level topline, held well on the move. Straight forelegs and nice firm feet, well arched. Moderate rear angles with well turned stifle. Moved out well and true.

2nd Duffy’s – ALMOOR LADY GAGA 6 yrs (B) Nice type also, good head proportions and moderately long neck. Topline level and held well on the move. Moderate rear angles, couldn’t quite match the accuracy of 1 on the move.

1st Logie & Braidwood’s – GRAF III VOM BUSSHOF AT ALBADHU 7mnth (D) Very smart, well balanced youngster, lovely clean mover. Broad skull, strong neck with slight arch, well muscled up. Chest wide. Shoulders well laid back. Straight forelegs. Well muscled thighs and a decent turn of stifle. Really nice clean stride. Best of Breed.

2nd Logie & Braidwood’s – ALBADHU FINAL ENCOUNTER 2yrs (B) A lot of very similar attributes, super head, muscular neck, well laid shoulder. Nice straight forelegs, Chest deep, well turned stifle and well let down hocks. Just preferred the movement of the youngster today.

Post Graduate (2/1)

1st Jacksons – SOLWAYPOINT SUNSET 10mnth (B) Super youngster this one, head correct with divergence and super eye. Ears well set of correct length. Correct scissor bite, Neck fairly short, and correct double dewlap, well muscled shoulders and correct topline with slight rise over the croup. Almost square in profile. Good bend of stifle. Will tighten up on the move with age but everything is there with a lovely driving action from the rear and extending well in front. Looking forward to seeing her develop. Best Puppy.

1st Dodd & Hayes – BUSHWACKER DOLLY DAYDREAM 3 yrs (B) Square in profile, presenting a lovely balanced picture. Head correct with diverging planes. Correct proportions. Neck short and well rounded. Shoulders long, well laid back. Correct topline. Thighs long and muscular. Super mover, driving from the rear, reaching well and giving that lovely extended fast trot. Best of Breed.

1st LaRoche’s – EMMROCHE EMILIANA 18mnth (B) Head moderately broad, correct proportions. Muzzle strong. Nice eye and ears set on correct. Short neck slightly arched and muscular. Well laid back shoulder. Elbows could be a bit closer fitting. Compact in body, correct topline. Not in the best of coats at the moment, appeared to have been clippered. Moved out well. Best of Breed.
