AVNSC Pastoral

Puppy (2)

1st. Mr. C Laybourne & Miss. A Johnson’s- Dominoesdale Thymes Spirit (OES).

A 6 month old male, head of the correct proportions, and the correct bite and dentition, compact body, well laid shoulders, deep brisket, he looked a little straight in stifle today, he moved steadily, Best AVNSC Puppy.

2nd. Mrs D Griffin’s-Droversrock Tigers Eye (Lancashire Heeler).

A 10 month old Liver and Tan bitch, head of the correct proportions, eyes contrasting with her colour, correct bite, neck of the correct length, harsh topcoat, nicely angulated front and rear quarters, her movement was a little erratic today.

1st. Mr. C Laybourne & Miss. A Johnson’s- Mellowdee Paws In Thyme In Dominoesdale JW (OES).

A 6 year old male, showing the correct overall type, balanced and in proportion, he has a masculine head and a strong muzzle, powerful neck, well laid shoulders, compact body, strong loin, well-turned stifles, coat of the correct texture, he moved steadily with reach and drive, Best AVNSC Pastoral.

Pastoral Group

1st. Mrs. T Wescott-Smith & Mrs Smith’s-Vivienne De L’Arene Noire At Rozimba- Briard, (Belgian JCH BWJ23 WWJ23 (IMP BEL).

A 2 year old black Briard bitch, showing a typical and well balanced outline, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, correct bite and dentition, dark eyes and well set ears, neck of the correct length, well laid shoulders and upper arms. Deep brisket, level back, well bent stifles, correct double dewclaws, coat of the correct texture, she moved well showing reach and drive although restricted due to the size of the ring. Pleased to see she was awarded Reserve best in Show.

2nd. Turnbull, Clegram, Douglas & Holligan’s-Talard She’s Got The Look (Australian Shepherd).

A 3 ½ year old blue merle bitch, lovely type with a balanced outline, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, good pigment, correct bite, neck strong and well set on, well laid back shoulders, deep chest, ribs carried well back and a strong loin, level topline, broad strong loin, well bent stifles and hocks well let down, she moved very well showing reach and drive in profile.

3rd. Mrs. D Garside & Mrs. S Davies-Demelewis Gang Leader (Rough Collie).

4th. Mrs D Rowan’s Rowancrest Cinderella (Shetland Sheepdog).

Pastoral Puppy Group

1st. Mrs. C Foster’s- Fostebrie Hope’s Sensation-(Briard).

An 11 month old quality fawn Briard puppy and one I have awarded 1st in a puppy group at a Championship show before, balanced and in proportion, feminine but with substance throughout, head and muzzle of the correct proportions, dark eyes and the correct bite, ears well set on, strong neck, level back and well laid shoulder blades and upper arms, deep chest, nicely sprung ribcage, ribs carried well back, loin of the correct length, coat in good condition and of the correct texture. Nicely angulated rear quarters and strong hocks and the correct double dew claws, she moved well coming and going and showed reach and drive in profile. Well-presented and handled, I am sure she has a very promising future. Very pleased to learn she was awarded Best Puppy in Show.

2nd. Mrs D Rowan’s Rowancrest Cinderella (Shetland Sheepdog).

An 11 month old Shetland Sheepdog bitch, she has a refined and elegant head, correct ear set, dark eyes and the correct bite, a typical outline being balanced and in proportion, well laid shoulders, deep chest and the correct spring of rib. Level back and correct fall of croup, in good coat today and of the correct texture, well bent stifles, she moved with drive and purpose, hopefully another puppy with a bright future.

3rd. Mrs. J & Mr. S leckenby’s-Kiltondale Kisses Of Fire At Briaryburn (Bearded Collie).

4th. Mrs S Kearnan & M. Brown’s-Swnynant Icon (GSD).

AV Pastoral Veteran

1st. L Welford’s-Tooralie’s Indigo Violet (Shetland Sheepdog).

An 11 year old bitch and she was in good overall condition for her age, typical breed outline, balanced and in proportion, head and muzzle correct and a gentle expression, ears well placed, well laid shoulders, deep chest, ribs carried well back and the correct length of loin, nicely angulated rear quarters, her movement was lively being sound and true, a well-deserved win amongst some strong competition.

2nd. Mrs S Kearnan & C Wilson’s-IR/MULTI/INT CH CLYNALWIN’s NUKON (GSD)

An 8 year old GSD he is substantial throughout and has a masculine head and a strong muzzle, well laid shoulders, deep chest, well ribbed back, and strong loin, his backline is not exaggerated and falls away to gently sloping croup, well bent stifles, he moved well for his age even though restricted by the ring on the day, he deserved his placing today.

3rd. Dr L. W. Boyle’s- Barrenclough Diamond Days JW (Rough Collie).

4th. Mrs S. Garvey’s- Chikaramor Kynda Klassy With Melneg (Border Collie).

5th. Mr. C Laybourne & Miss. A Johnson’s-Mellowdee Patsy’s Spirit in Dominoesdale SHEX (OES).
