Many thanks to Diane and the committee of Chesterfield Canine Society for inviting me to judge at this well organised outdoor show. The entry was beyond what we expected, and I am very grateful to all the exhibitors especially those who had a long day. The show is certainly going from strength to strength. My special thanks to my steward Adam who was with me from start to finish and was quite brilliant all day.

Bracco Italiano

Junior.1 .Bushwacker Don Juan. Nine month old who is very mature for his age. He appealed for his overall balance and shape. Pleasing head with correct head planes, of correct length and nicely lean. Correct head proportions. Good nose. Good soft eye with nice tight eye rim. Good neck and shoulder. Pleasing front with good depth of chest for his age. Correct slope of topline. Well angulated behind. Moved typically. A nice prospect. 2. Piccorino Praise Be. Bitch who is much more raw than the first placed dog. However, a decent prospect. Pleasing head of correct type. Nice tight eye rim. Good neck and shoulder. Nicely angled front and rear. Fraction long in loin. Moved well with typical gait. 3. Bushwacker Donnie Darko.

PG. 1 Bushwacker Demetrio. Quality O/W. Typical head of correct planes. Good eye. Correct ears which are set on correctly and are of good length. Good shoulder placement and well defined whither. Nice oval bone and correct shaped foot. Nice body proportions. Good depth of chest. Well sprung. Typical topline. Good hind angulation. Moved well. BOB over kennel mate.

Open. 1 Bushwacker Demetrio. Winner of PG.

German Shorthaired Pointer

Junior 1. Tuptonsett Master Dexter. Typey young male. Nice for size. Nice head of correct proportions. Minimal stop. Good dark eye. Nice broad ear which is well set. Good length of neck into well placed shoulder. Nice depth of chest. Well ribbed up. Nice hind angulation. Could be a little tidier in front. Moved away well. In good condition.

PG. This was a lovely class with two very nice bitches. 1 Sperant Chocolate Cosmos JW. L/W. Appealed instantly for her overall balance and symmetry. Quality head piece which is clean cut and of correct proportions. Super length of neck into the best of shoulders. Lovely front assembly and of excellent hind angulation. Moved very well front and rear. Pleasure to award her BOB. 2 Redic Shiraz. Didn’t stay for critique but a quality bitch of good type. Nicely headed and of good overall proportions. Moved well.

Open. Sperant Pamplemousse. I liked this bitch who presents a very typical and balanced silhouette. Pleasing head and expression. Good neck into good shoulders. Nicely angulated front and rear. Moved very well in all directions. Didn’t give her handler an easy time. 2. Ch Quintana Lunar Escape Another nice bitch of which the attributes of 1 apply. Another who is balanced and quality throughout. Just not quite the front of the first placed bitch. 3. Cellioch Russian

Gordon setter

Junior 1. Glenmaurangi Aurora. Typey young bitch. Lovely head which is of good depth, and expression with well set dark eye. Good length of muzzle and correct low set ear. Good length of neck. Well-made forehand. Level topline Deep and well ribbed back. Would like her a fraction less angulated behind if being critical. Super colouring. Moved very well. BOB. 2. Galliech Beverly dottir. Nice make and shape. Head of good proportions and nice eye. Just a little less feminine than the first placed bitch. Well-made though with good body proportions. Of good colour. In A1 condition. Moved very well in all directions.

PG. 1 Langstrumpf Hochsommer. Pleasing 2 and a half year old bitch of quality. Pleasing head and expression. Body of good overall proportions. To be hypercritical I would like a fraction more length of neck. Nevertheless, well placed shoulders and good front. Well ribbed up. Good muscular loin. Moved well with correct tail carriage.

Open.1 Hernwood The Botanist Jw. Impressive male who is quite lovely on the move. Pleasing head of correct proportions and depth. Nice eye. Well set ears. Good bone and feet. A fraction stuffy in neck for me. Good body proportions and topline. In A1 order. 2. Langstrumpf Hochsommer. Second in PG 3. Galliech Beverly dottir

Pointer.

A lovely entry. Thank you.

Puppy. Some very nice puppies to start the entry. 1. Hawkfield Happy Feet at Oramiss. O/W who immediately appealed for his overall shape and style. Very typical pointer outline, but not overdone in any way. Has the most lovely of headpieces with a skull of correct width, clear defined stop, and slight but not excessive concavity to his muzzle. The best of neck and shoulder. Well made front and well let down for a youngster. Good bone and feet. Well sprung with strong loin. Good tail length and good action on the move. Moved very typically with good rear drive. A nice prospect. 2. Millpoint Watson. Second in a well filled class, this is another promising puppy. This young male has a beautiful head and expression and similarly to Happy Feet is well made throughout. He is an impressive young dog, just a fraction over angulated in the rear for me although this did not impede his classical action on the move. 3. Bradgate Your Truly.

Junior .1 Millpoint Winchester. O/W. This is a nice prospect. He has a beautiful head but is just very raw. Nice overall proportions. Good front although needs to drop into himself. He has a lovely forehand, good topline, well-set tail and is well angulated. Movement at the moment a little erratic. Needs time.

PG. 1. Bradleypoint Floki. Pleasing O/W. Very pleasing outline. Good head and expression. A beautiful length of neck into the best of toplines. Nice front assembly. Well angulated rear. In super hard condition. Moved typically and soundly. 2. Tenshilling Jimmy Mack JW. Bigger male than 1. Has a super typical head of correct proportions and planes. Lovely eye. Correct ear placement. Not quite a settled on the move as 1. 3. Jilony Columbo at Dalhallpais.

Open. Super class although not easy to sort as a number of different types. 1. Sh Ch Teisgol Keep On Going Via Penwest. I really liked this O/W male, who stood out for me. He is a quality male who is not overdone in any way. He has a super headpiece with correct head proportions and planes. Super neck of good length and with gentle arch. Excellent well laid shoulder. Nice front with well let down brisket. Nice bone and well arched foot of correct shape. Well sprung with correct topline and nice length of tail which is correctly set. Moved very well. 2. Sh Ch Joneva Born to Thrill. Another male who holds his title and it is easy to see why. His overall shape is lovely and he is so sound on the move with great drive from the rear. In good hard solid condition as one would expect from this seasoned exhibitor. Just preferred the overall size and type of 1 who is a little lighter on his feet. 3. Millpoint Hearts on Fire

Golden Retriever

Puppy. 1. Brekswood Honey Bee. Very nice young bitch who instantly appealed on her overall make and shape and super expression. Balanced and symmetrical she presents a lovely outline. Super head and expression with lovely dark eye and well set ear. Good neck and shoulder. Well off for bone for a bitch. Still has a bit of knuckle and is not quite finished. Needs to drop into herself. Short coupled with level topline. Nicely angulated rear. In good jacket. She is quite lovely on the move. BP, BOB and BP Gundog. Delighted to see her BP and shortlisted in the puppy group a week later at The National where she gained some more admirers. 2 Moloko Eeh By Gum Ralveslake. Another quality puppy with many attributes. Another with a very typical head and lovely kind expression. Nice overall proportions. Just needs to fill out and mature through. Needs another jacket. Moved soundly. 3. Tsarmont Oh So Starstruck.

Junior. Jasrolyn Doe Ray Me Among Wylloh. Light coloured bitch of quality. Nice head and expression. Good neck into the best of shoulders. Could be a fraction tidier in front. Well balanced. Good strong loin. Level. Good tail. Moved very well. In good condition.

PG. Akenscales Beau Baron JW Typey male. Nice overall proportions. Pleasing head and eye. Nice shoulder placement and front assembly. Nice and level. Good strong well angulated rear. Would not want him any bigger. Moved well. 2. Sansue Love Note at Lauellabrook. Another typy dog. Nice overall proportions. Good rib. Nice front. Just preferred expression of 1 and could be fraction tidier going away.

Open. Akenscales Waterloo. Upstanding and pleasing male. Good head and expression. Kind dark eye. Super bone and lovely round tight feet. Well ribbed up. Pleasing topline and well angulated at the rear. Moved well. Not in the best of jackets today. 2. Princess Cora of Zarkandar. Didn’t stay for critique but pleasing bitch of quality. Not the neck and shoulder of 1. 3. Applecote Love Affair

Spaniel (American Cocker)

Puppy.1 Cutiepooch Lily Landini. Black. Very pleasing head with nicely rounded skull. Correct stop. Well chiselled. Nice depth to muzzle. Lovely dark round eye. Would for preference like a fraction more length of neck. Lovely typical topline and tailset. Needs to just drop into herself which will come with maturity. Moved well. Well put down.

Junior.1 Jenrene’s Black Whiskey at Cutiepooch. Young black and tan male with lots to like about him. Quality head and expression. Nice overall shape. Good neck and shoulder. Good front with well boned and muscular foreleg. Good depth to chest. Nicely coupled. Moved well and was well handled.

Open. Sh Ch Fonesse Dirty Dancing at Carolco. Lovely B/W parti. Clearly male but not overdone in any way. Pleasing head with correct skull shape and overall proportions. Good round eye and well pigmented eye rim. Correctly set and feathered leathers of correct length. Good neck and shoulder. Good front assembly. Typical topline and tail set. Lovely mover. Lots to like in this dog. A little less severe trimming on the neck would enhance. BOB.

Welsh Springer Spaniels

Junior.1 .Tigerrock The Wombles. I really liked this young male. Typical head and expression. Nice eye and well set correctly shaped leather. Good neck into good shoulders. Pleasing overall body proportions. Good bone and feet. Well-developed hindquarters which are moderately angled and not overdone. Moved very well in both directions. 2. Ferndel Serenella For Vynesbrook. Very raw young puppy. Not quite sure of her job at the moment and not helping her handler. Nevertheless, although raw the essentials are there and with a little maturity and time she will be a different bitch. In good condition.

PG. Good class with some quality dogs. 1 Tigerrock I’m Your Man Quality male who impressed by his overall make and shape. Of good size. Pleasing head and expression. Good front assembly. Super bone and nice feet. Well ribbed and good muscular loin. Good hind angulation. Moved very well. 2. Pamicks Dream With Me. Another of excellent type. Very pleasing head and expression. Good length of neck into well placed shoulders. Nicely made front. Good bone. Good topline and tail set. If I am to be critical could have a fraction more spring of rib. Nice colour and super jacket. Moved soundly in all directions. 3. Tigerrock Amazing Grace with Willowmeana

Open 1 Ferndel Fire Gem at Toftwood. I really liked this bitch. I thought her an instant winner when she came into the ring. She is a quality bitch with a lovely overall outline. On further inspection she has a lovely headpiece. Her head is of decent length, and she is well chiselled. Nice eye and well-shaped ears which are set correctly. Good length of neck into well sloped shoulders. Well boned and lovely tight cat like foot. Well sprung with muscular loin. Nicely angled behind. Well set tail. Of good colour and in super condition. Handled sympathetically and moved very soundly. I thought her quite lovely and very typey. BOB and subsequently topped the gundog group. I wish her well. 2.Istyn Peeping Tom JW. Quality veteran male. Lovely to go over as he is so well made. Lovely overall proportions. Pleasing head. Good length of neck into excellent shoulders. Well sprung and well coupled. Super hindquarters with good second thigh. Nice feet for his age. Moved very well. Just preferred the head and expression of 1. 3. Tigerrock Lit De Roses at Willowmeana

English Springer Spaniels

Open.1 Tigerrock Strike a Pose. Veteran L/W. This bitch appealed with her overall size and shape. Pleasing head which is a quality head and nicely proportioned. Nice kind eye, well set leathers of good length. Nicely chiselled. Good neck and shoulder. Pleasing front assembly. Nice tight foot and ok for bone. Good broad thighs and nicely angulated behind. Correct tailset. Moved very well with lovely reach and matched by good drive behind.

Field Spaniel

Lovely entry of Field Spaniels.

Junior.1 Fantastic Field Shine Like a Diamond at Godhelic. Promising young bitch. Very raw however and has a lot of maturing to do. However she is very balanced and of correct proportions. Importantly she has a very typical head which is in no way coarse. Nicely chiselled and lean in skull, with good length of muzzle. Nice eye with tight rims. Good length of neck into nicely laid shoulders. Needs to drop on chest and to fill out a little, she is a little loose at the elbow at the moment which should improve as she matures through. Good in hindquarter and tail is correctly set. Moved well. 2. Godhelic. Sunshine Girl at Halbadier. Another typical Field bitch and another who has some maturing to do. Sunshine Girl also has the right proportions both in body and head. Nicely constructed through, with good bone and feet. Moved very well, just not as mature as 1. 3. Heartwood Mishules All is Possible with Calico

PG. 1. Nadavin Nusa at Sagala. Pleasing liver bitch. Won this class on her head which is of correct proportions and is well chiselled. Lean in skull with good length of muzzle which has correct curve. Well set ears which are nicely feathered. Would prefer a slightly smaller eye for preference. Good neck and shoulder. Nice front. Well angulated rear. Moved well. 2. Heartwood Mishules All is Possible with Calico. B/T. Wll made and of the correct proportions. Just a little on the top size for me and could also do with a little bit of leaning down. Moved very soundly fore and aft, with good reach and excellent drive from behind.

Open. Sh Ch Elgert Sweet Little Lies at Godhelic. Veteran bitch of nine years. It is easy to see how she has her title. She has a beautiful head and expression. Good length of neck neck into lovely well-placed shoulders. Good bone and feet. Body of ideal proportions. Well angulated rear. Nice topline and well-set tail. Moved very well. I was torn for BOB but very taken with the puppy who although raw has a lot of potential, and I gave way to the youngster who just gave that little more on the last run. 2. Broomeece Firecracker Over Mishules. Quality dog, not belittled by standing second here. I would just prefer him a fraction leaner in skull. Well made with a lovely front and rear. Moved very soundly and in good hard condition and super jacket.

AVNSC Gundog

Puppy.1 Settersay Targaryen Lowdon. IRWS. Very raw red and white. All the essentials are there. Quality head of correct proportions. Super neck into good shoulder. Good solid topline and correct tail set. Just needs to mature all through and develop. I wish her well.

Junior. 1. Vynesbrook Ultimate Choice F/C R. Another that is raw bit has all the essentials. She presents a lovely overall outline and correct tail set. Very nice albeit raw head piece with super eye. Correct ear set. Best of front assemblies. Nicely angulated front and rear. In A1 order, well muscled and in super jacket. When she settles on the move she is quite true in all directions. A nice prospect.

AV Import Gundog

Open. Teisgol Nimue by Perdizcyo. Portugese Pointer. Very typey Portuguese. Very typical head with correct proportions, desire convergent planes, well defined stop and good eye. Correct high set ear. Good front. Required topline and croup. Nice hindquarters and moved very well.

AV Veteran Gundog

1 Sh Ch Layways Lana Del Ray. Lovely typey Vizla bitch. Beautiful head and expression. Good for size. Beautiful outline. In good hard condition. Moved like a dream. Delighted to watch her go BVIS under a Vizla specialist. 2 Wilmerella Perfect Storm. Cocker Spaniel B/R male. Beautiful head and with a wonderful expression. Kind correct eye with good leathers well set. Good length of neck into well placed shoulders. Well ribbed. Topline is solid despite his age and with correct tailset. Moved like a youngster with nice ‘cockery’ action. 3. Ileyhall Una at Peersbrook. Golden Retriever.

Australian Shepherd Dog

Junior.1 Onyxwood Ironside. Tri bitch. Nice overall shape and of good size. Feminine in head yet without loss of any strength. Good clean neck into well placed shoulders. Lovely bone and nice compact foot. Correct height to length ratio. Well sprung. Well let down hocks. Could be a little tidier going away. Nice front action.

PG.1 Chalksville Strike A Deal With Kashaella. Very nice dog with much to like. Pleasing head and expression. Nice for bone and feet. Could have a fraction more length of upper arm. Nice body proportions. Well sprung. Correct croup and good tail set. Well angulated. Move ok. 2. Bolinchep Coloradoblue. Nice bitch of quality. Well made throughout. Pleasing front and with good bone and feet. Correct topline. Nicely angulated rear. In good condition. Moved well. Just preferred the overall expression of 1.

Open.1 Chalksville’s Azrael at Kashaella. Upstanding red merle. Pleasing head and expression. Well shaped high set ear. Good bone and feet. Could have a fraction more upper arm length. Correct depth of chest and of good moderate width. Well sprung. Correct croup. Moved very well in all directions. 2. Amberslde Santa Ana Breeze at Javison. Tri-colour. Nice bitch overall with very pleasing head and expression. Nice size for a bitch. Not quite the neck or shoulder of the first dog. Good topline. Nicely angulated. Moved ok.

Bearded Collie

Puppy. Two very nice promising puppies. 1 Whole Lotta Love from Noonie Nears by Irisaddition. Impressive quality male. Very pleasing head with good breadth to skull and of good skull proportions. Muzzle of correct length and with good strength. Lovely length of neck with nice gentle arch into well placed shoulders. Under his jacket is a chest of correct depth. Of good overall length and with strong loin. Nicely angulated behind. Well set and carried tail. Moved typically with correct head carriage. Just has the most lovely reach in front. Needs to mature and mature in coat. BP over a very nice bitch puppy and PG 2. 2. Clanwillow Crown of Roses for Snikkles. Not belittled by standing second as I also liked this bitch very much. Lovely for type and so very feminine without weakness. This bitch is so well made and lovely to go over. Clean in front with enough chest room, good bone and feet. In a more mature jacket than1 but just preferred the reach in front of 1. Both puppies should do well.

Junior. 1. Une Histoire D’amour De Chester with Snowmead JW. Quality young bitch. Lovely for overall type. Super head and expression. Head of correct proportions and lovely eye and correct eyebrows. Nice front. Good neck and shoulder. Correct length and strong loin. Nice hind quarters. Moved well in both directions. Would if being hypercritical like a fraction more daylight under her.

PG. Strong class. 1. Calowych Moana at Baxilby JW. Quality bitch who impressed for her overall type and outline. Very nice head piece with good breath of skull and correct skull to muzzle ratio. Pleasing front. Good neck and shoulder. Nice topline and tail set. In good hard condition. Moved soundly. 2. Sylvabrae Newtons Law. Quality blue dog. Up to size but quality through and of the best proportions. Pleasing head and expression. Good neck and shoulder. Well let down. Well sprung rib. Nice well muscled and well angulated hind quarters. Moved well. 3. Irisadition Victorious with Ellishar JW.

Open. 1Kelham Like Dreams Do at Roxilyn JW. I loved this bitch as soon as she came into the class and was the one to beat. Going over her she is lovely with little to dislike. Glorious head and expression. Super proportions. Sound on the move with typical gait. In A1 muscular condition and in the best of jackets. Should have her title with fair play in my opinion. 2 Saskyadu Your So Magical. Veteran eight and a half year old. You wouldn’t know it as she is in super condition. Another with a quality head, good eye and well set ears. Good length of neck and well laid shoulders. A fraction more upright than the first placed bitch. Good topline and tail set. Nice hind quarters. Moved very well. 3. Cellmear’s Be Good at Baxilby

Border Collie

Puppy 1 Simmovon Charm Writer. I think that if I had to take one puppy home from what was a large overall entry today, it would have been this young man. Very smart promising nine month old puppy. Pleasing quality head with correct skull to muzzle ratio. Good oval eye of correct colour. Well set ear. Good neck and well laid shoulder with nice close elbow. Well spring with nice strong deep loin. Well angulated behind but not overdone. Well set tail of correct length. Moved well and typical of the breed. In good jacket, with correct undercoat. Overall, a lovely puppy who should do well. Puppy Group 1.

Junior. 1 Simmovon Charm Writer. Winner of Puppy. 2. Tambuzi Ride The Storm. Another nice one. Very typical and very typey border collie who impressed with his overall shape and balance. Lovely head and expression. Well-made front. Good bone and lovely foot with well arched toe. Good depth of chest and well sprung. Pushed 1 but just falls off very very slightly at the rear. Moved very soundly. Another that should do well. 3. Altricia Bobby’s Girl

PG. 1. Tambuzi Ride The Storm. Second in junior 2. Kirkwond Shooting Star. Quality BW. Nice head and expression. Would prefer a fraction more neck. Good bone and feet. Well spung with correct deep and strong loin. Lovely overall shape and in good hard condition. Not as good going away as 1.

Open. 1. Borderbrook Fire and Flame. Completed a quality entry. Another of super type. Super overall outline. Typical head with lovely eye. Nice strength to muzzle. Good neck and well laid shoulder. Nice front and of good bone. Super feet. Nice hind quarters with lovely long deep thigh. In good condition. Moved soundly although for perfection could carry head a fraction lower. BOB despite being pushed very hard by the puppy.

Polish Lowland Sheepdog

What a lovely entry of Polish for me. Thank you very much. I thoroughly enjoyed them and what quality with 4 title holders in Open.

Junior.1 Mybeards Starshine. This was my star today. I thought this young man very special. Very little to dislike. Good sized cobby dog. Very pleasing head with correct proportions. Correct breadth of skull which is gently domed. Good eye shape and no evidence of haw. Strong neck, if being very hypercritical could have a fraction more length here. Good shoulders. Good bone and feet. Correct body proportions with super spring of rib. Well angulated behind. Correct harsh body coat. Shame I didn’t see him later in the group. I really liked him. BOB over quite a few title holders.

PG.1 Mybeards Majesty Top size for a bitch. Won the class on her overall shape. Good head and expression. Good front assembly. Correct topline. Good spring of rib. Nicely angulated behind. Good on the moved with super front action. In good coat 2. Mybeards Majestic. Could be a fraction bigger overall. Another who has a quality head. For me he was just a bit narrow through and might benefit from carrying a fraction more weight.

Open. Very nice class. 1 Ch Mybeards Hope. Multi titled bitch and one can see why. This bitch is of super type. She is the correct shape. Lovely head of correct proportions. Good neck and shoulder. Cobby. In A1 condition. Moved well but she could carry her tail a little less proudly. 2. Ch Mybeards Cococabana. Quality male. Very nice through with good head. Very little to criticise. In A1 condition. Preferred the coat texture on 1. Moved very well. 3. Ch Mybeards Frappucino

PMD

Nice entry but quite a few absentees. Only two dogs present but both of quality.

Junior.1. Gamuvel Patou Valkyrie at Pyrcat (Imp Lat).Impressive 8 and a half month old bitch. So typical in head with lovely curved skull which is clean and of good depth. Beautiful eye shape and colour. Nice small ear. Super for bone and nice foot. Needs to drop into herself, but chest of decent breadth. Good hindquarters. Moved well with well carried tail. Very fluid on the move for such a large breed. I wish her well.

Open.1. Kalkasi Just Because JW. Two and a half year old male and another with a very typical head and eye and with excellent pigmentation. Clean skull. Good neck and shoulder. Good front. Lovely overall proportions. Super bone and substance. In the best of jackets which is of good coarse texture. Moved very well. BOB.

Samoyed

Nice entry but a shame a few absentees.

PG.1. Silbertips And All That Jazz. 21 month old bitch. Pleasing overall shape and size for a bitch. Lovely head and expression. Good neck and shoulder. Wel made in front although a fraction down in front pastern. Correct overall proportions. Level topline with well set tail. Lovely on the move with super front extension.

Open 1 Cocosamel Camelia JW. I have liked this bitch before and qualified her for the JW semi-finals. Quality white and biscuit bitch. Very feminine with lovely pigmentation. Very pleasing in head, with typical wedge shape and good breadth to the skull. Well-shaped eye set correctly and of good dark colour. Thick well placed ears. Nice neck into well placed shoulder. Good bone. Well let down and with good spring of rib. Correct foot. Well set tail carried correctly. Lovely harsh top coat. Moved very well.

Shetland Sheepdog

Puppy Nice puppy class. 1. Shazbec Maid of Honour at Sheltisha. Very pretty and feminine blue merle. Impressed for her overall shape and proportions. Lovely head with good eye and lovely small well set ears. Good neck and shoulder. Pleasing body proportions. Moved well with lovely smooth gait and lovely front action. 2. Grandgenes She Has The Look. This sable was very close up and made my job harder. Quality through, beautiful head and expression. Super front assembly. Good depth of chest. Correct topline and tail set. In the best condition. Just not as positive as 1 going away today. Super side gait. 3. Rowancrest Cinderella

Junior.1 .Shazbec Maid of Honour at Sheltisha. Winner of puppy.

PG. 1. Sheltisha Royal Approval. Blue merle bitch. Won this class on her lovely head which is of good length and with correct planes. Nice overall shape. Could have moved with a little more enthusiasm. 2. Shellamoyed Midnight Max at Savataurus. Tri- Colour. Nice for size and shape. In good hard condition and lovely jacket. Nice head proportions just would prefer a less rounded eye. Good backend. Could be a bit more positive on the move.

Edglonian Slack Alice. This is a lovely bitch. Whilst not a small bitch there is not much to dislike here. She has a lovely refined and elegant head, clearly a bitch, but with no weakness secondary to her femininity. Head of correct shape and planes and clean back. Correctly set dark eye. Super small well carried ears complete the expression. Good neck into well laid shoulders. Nice front with well boned but not overdone forelegs and nicely arched toes. Correct body proportions. Well sprung. Level topline. Correct angles behind. In full bloom of jacket and in hard condition. BOB and Best in Pastoral group with some to spare. See she won her second CC the following week. 2. Wansvale Amiable. Sable dog who was not belittled by being second and should in my opinion carry his crown. Super type with a good of heads, with good length, correct planes, correct eye set and cleanness. Well made through with super front assembly, well sprung rib, level topline. Correct overall body proportions. Moved well. A close up decision but just preferred the fraction more length in head on 1. 3. Tooralie’s Tornade. Not and easy colour to see the beautiful expression, but this B/W male has it. Completed a lovely trio.

Welsh Corgi (Pembroke)

Puppy. 1. Twinan Raise The Bar For Fablecroft. R/W. Seven and a half months old. Pleasing head and expression with correct proportions. Well set ears of correct size. Good length of neck into decent shoulders. Well boned. Of good length, although just a little bum high at the moment. Well angulated rear. Moved ok. In very good condition and jacket.

PG. 1. Babaneira Kensington at Fablecroft. R/W. Pleasing head with good width of skull and well placed ears. Would prefer a fraction darker eye for preference. Good neck and shoulder. Level topline of good length. Would prefer a fraction more length of leg for preference. Moved very well at the correct speed. Another in good condition.

Open.1 Highashes Plan Bee JW. R/W. I very much liked this bitch who is of excellent type and very feminine. Lovely head and expression. Correct ear and eye. Nice length of neck. Could be a little better in the front, but of good bone and well let down. Well sprung. Nicely angulated rear. Best of toplines. Moved well.

Puppy. 1 Valltineya The Outlaw. Young but fairly mature OES male. Super head with broad square skull and strong muzzle of correct length. Good dark eye. Strong necck into well laid shoulder. Well fitted elbow. Super bone. Good depth of brisket and well ribbed. Could be a fraction more angulated behind. In super harsh jacket. Moved well. 2. Magikus Sirius Black. Very typey Puli. Pleasing head. Enough neck into correct shoulders. Nice overall proportions. Well corded coat of good length. Could be a fraction tidier in front. A nice prospect. 3. Sunlions Felek.

Junior. 1. Csulli Lemonade Kisses. Very nice Pumi. Lovely to go over. Good length of muzzle, nice oval dark eye. Correct high set ear which is correctly bent. Super neck and shoulder. Level topline and nicely coupled. Moderate hind quarters which are well muscled. Moved very well 2. Starjanda Mr Bright Sky. Quality OES with a lovely correct head and correct eye. Super bone and feet. Good depth to chest and well ribbed. In good correct jacket. Moved well. For preference could have a fraction more width in chest. 3.Siluto Blueberry Mist

PG 1. Twojas Little Miss Diva. Another OES. Pleasing head and expression. Well made in front. Good topline. Super bone and feet. Nice size for a bitch and quality through. Could have a fraction more bend of stifle for completeness. Moved very well. In good jacket. 2. Siluto Blueberry Mist. Third in junior. Rough Collie. Pleasing bitch. Pleasing head of good length and correct planes. Nice well placed eye. Nice overall shape. Good topline. Nice hind angulation. Moved well both ways. In good condition.

Open 1. Aqualita It’s a Miracle. Quality tri Rough. I liked this male very much. All male but not overdone. Quality head piece with nice planes and correctly set eye. Neat well-placed ears. Good front assembly with good bone and nice feet. Well ribbed up. Nice topline which is maintained on the move. Well angulated rear. In good jacket. Moved very well and at the right speed. To nit pick I would like a fraction more neck. Very nice rough. 2. Kashbeluli There We Are Then. Puli. Not a small one but a nice overall shape. Pleasing head. Nicely made in front. Good topline and tail set. Super rear. Moved very well. 3. Csulli Christmas Candy

AV Veteran Pastoral.

1 Black’n Blue’s Ready to Rock with Gemeau. Hungarian Puli. Very nice male who impressed me. Of good breed type. Nice relatively small head piece of good proportions. Nicely arched with super dark keen eye. Well set neck which is not too long and leads into a quality shoulder placement. Pleasing front construction. Well sprung deep ribs. Good strong loin. In super condition and typically coated. Correct short stepping gait. Could be just a fraction shorter. I liked this dog very much. Best Veteran. Put on a good show in BVIS. 2 Irisaddition Effie Trinket. Bearded Collie. Quality bitch who pushed the puli very hard. Lovely overall type. Super head and expression. Lovely front assembly. Good bone and feet. So well muscled for a veteran. Won this class over another quality Beardie on her strong topline which is impressive for a dog of length and of her age. Not quite in full topcoat which cost her higher honours. Moved typically and soundly. 3. Saskyadu Your So Magical. Bearded Collie

Puppy. Carolus Camilla. Enchanting Blenheim puppy bitch who won this class with a bit to spare. This young bitch has a quality head and the most appealing gentle expression. Good clean flat skull with correctly high set and well feathered ears. One of the few with the correct shallow stop which is essential. Beautiful large eye. Good neck into clean and well-placed shoulders. Nice front and decent bone. Well ribbed up. Correct topline and tail set. Moved very soundly. BP. 2 Carsan Richie Rich. Quality Tri dog. Another quality Cavalier with many of the attributes of 1. Good for size and overall balance. Pleasing head and expression. Well-constructed throughout and very sound on the move. Mature for his age. I just preferred the slightly shallower stop and overall expression of 1. 3 Oaktreepark Royal Bliss

Junior. 1 Sweetbriar Dancefloor Dust with Cavallibrook. Another Blenheim bitch who is of lovely type and very feminine in expression. She is also out of the top drawer with a correct overall shape and is not exaggerated in any way. Well-constructed front with nice bone and feet. Good spring of rib. Correct topline and tail set. Shown in excellent condition and jacket. Moved well. 2 Granasil Tea Leaf 3. B/T Pleasing head of correct proportions and correct stop. Nice neck and shoulder. Good rib and short coupling. Level topline. Well angulated. Correct markings for a B/T. Moved soundly. Just preferred the overall expression of 1. 3.Carolus Coronation

PG. 1. Carolus Miss Chloe. Nice type with good head and expression. Correct skull shape and well placed ears. Nice to see the desired nicely defined lozenge marking. Correct length of neck into good shoulders. Well ribbed up. Decent topline and good turn of stifle. Moved well. 2 Oaktreepark Royal Ava. Pleasing bitch of good size and shape. Pleasing head although would prefer a fraction less definition to stop. Nicely bodied with good rib and correct topline. Could be a fraction less straight in the hind quarters. Moved ok.

Open 1. Harana Pinball Wizard. Impressive B/T male. He impressed with his overall silhouette. Has a lovely head with well-proportioned skull, correct set of ears with are well feathered and of good length. Good length of neck into a decent laid shoulder. Level topline and correct tail set. Well angulated behind. Has a lovely kind gentle expression which is often harder to perfect in this colouring. Well-marked. Out moved others to win the class and BOB. Saw he won group 2 later in the day under Gavin Robertson. Well done. For preference if I am hypercritical I would like a little less skirt. 2 Oaktreepark Royal Austin. Blenheim dog. Pleasing head and expression. Nice leathers of correct set and length, and well fringed. Good size for a male. Nice neck and shoulder. Good body. Correct topline and lovely tail set. Could have a fraction more turn of stifle. Moved ok. 3 Carolus Miss Elsie

Puppy 1 Kirdanchi Le Ballet Giselle. Nice prospect. Pleasing head with correct well-rounded skull and pleasing large eye. Good large ear correctly angled. Good neck of adequate length and nice shoulder placement. Level topline with good high set tail, and tail carried well on the move. Moved well with brisk sound gait. 2 Macidendas Alum. Another one of good overall proportions and size. Presents a nice outline. Pleasing head and expression. Not quite as positive as 1 in front and would prefer tail not so flat on the back.

Junior 1 Torre Del Pilar Beso Beso for Kirdanchi. Quality sable. I really liked this young bitch who has the most lovely head with correct apple domed skull and the best of large ears set at the right angle. Well sprung rib and decent depth through brisket. Nice front and good for bone. Nice overall proportions with level back and correctly set tail. Collected on the move. 2 Cabillie Madame Barbie. Cream bitch. Quality head. Nice front. Nice proportions. Not quite the topline of 1 or as precise in front.

PG 1 Macidendas Ra. I really liked this dog who is quality through. Super head and expression. Good large well set dark eye. Well set ears of correct size. Lovely for type. Well carried tail of decent length and well furnished. Moved well. BOB. 2 Dorenty’s Chuckleberry Fin. Another very nice dog with the qualities of 1 above. Lovely headed and with nice expression. Good for overall size and shape. Correct topline and tail set. Moved very well. Just not in the fullest of coats which cost him higher honours. 3 Oskola’s White Angel

Open 1 Oozora Queen of Mystery JW. Pleasing bitch. Nice head and expression. Well set ears. Clean front which is correctly assembled. Pleasing topline and tail set. Well angulated rear. Moved very well in all directions. 2 Ch Dorenty Myboyclyde 3 Microschihuas Ice T for Saffrosa. Another quality exhibit. Heavier through however than 1. Very correct skull shape and with well-placed eye and ear. Good neck and shoulder. Well sprung. Correctly angulated rear. Moved well.

Junior 1 Diamonchi Miss Beautiful. I thought this rich fawn bitch quite enchanting. She has a beautiful head which is correctly domed. Nice skull to muzzle ratio. Nice eye. Correct ear size and set. Good neck and shoulder. Correctly made front. Well sprung. Level. Moved very well retaining her topline. 2 Cazants Biggysmallz. Another nice young S/C. Very nice overall. Just not quite the ear carriage of 1. Lovely and compact with good spring of rib which won him this place in a large class. 3 Alderxena Ruler of A Kingdom

Open. 1 Diamonchi Miss Sparkle JW. Beautiful cream. So lovely for type. Excels in head and expression. Beautiful outline. Good for overall size. Nice front. Good level topline. Correct tailset and well carried tail on the move. Sound coming and going and with a lovely side gair. I liked her very much. BOB and group shortlisted. I note that by the time have written this she annexed the CC and BOB at The National. Congratulations. 2. Ch Cazants The Gafer Luvs Dorenty JW. Another S/C of super quality. The attributes of 1 above all apply here. Just preferred the eye of Miss Sparkle. Moved very soundly with correct carriage. In super hard condition. Well deserving of his title. 2. Diamonchi Mr Moonstone

Junior 1 Chestnutcres Night Sky. Hairless. Nice for overall size and shape. Pleasing head with a good clean back skull. Correct dark eye. Nicely crested. Well placed large ears which are well fringed. Good neck and shoulder. Correct bone. Level topline. Correctly plumed tail well set and well carried on the move. 2 Riveralca Affric. Powderpuff. Nice again for overall size. Head of correct proportions but not quite as lean as the first placed dog. Good neck into well placed shoulders. Nice front. Good bone and correct foot shape. Good depth of chest. Well angulated hind quarters just falls off a little more than 1 at the croup. Another that moved well.

Open 1 Chestnutcres Sun Beam. Lovely type. Overall shape is correct. Nice head and eye. Super ear size, set and fringing. Nice topline and tail set. Lovely rump and hindquarters. A fraction wide in front if one is critical but otherwise lots to like. Very elegant on the move with lovely front reach. BOB and group shortlist. 2 Koroleve Balemila With Apailana. PP. Nice type. Pleasing head and expression. Could have a fraction more lay back of shoulder. Lovely bone and feet. Correct topline. Not so sure of herself today.

Soft Coat Wheaten Terriers.

Open 1. Brynhir Born to Boogie at Starzak JW. Quality Wheaten bitch. Alone but not disgraced. Nice overall shape. Correct head of ideal proportions and with correct width to the skull. Feminine but no loss of strength. Nice clear eye. Well set ear of correct size and texure. Good neck and shoulder. Pleasing front. Good topline with enough behind the tail. Well sprung. Correct coat colour and texture and not over trimmed. Could have a little more reach in front on the move.
