Collie (Rough)

P (4) 1st Blake’s Corydon Cristal Vision. 7m girl with correct body length to height, level topline with slight rise over loin, sloping croup and well set and carried tail of correct length. Head is smooth and of parallel planes with slight stop. Very pleasing in eyes, dark, almond, slightly oblique and of correct medium size to give sweetest expression. Used her ears well. Good balanced angles, firm pasterns and excellent feet with arched close held toes. Gait sound and ground covering. BP and PG2. 2nd Blake’s Corydon Christiana. Another very similar 7m girl and similar comments apply. First a little more positive on the move today, 3rd Bartram’s Ambartr’s Dignity and Pride.

SY (6,2) 1st Williams’ Majola Top Gun JW. 17m boy. Correct body proportions, slight rise over loin. Matching angles with firm pasterns and good feet. Well proportioned and shaped masculine head, with sweet expression. Moved well from all views. 2nd Blake’s Corydon The Baronet. 7m boy and clearly a baby but everything present to the right degree. Very promising. 3rd Ambartr’s Dignity and Pride.

L (4,2) 1st Bartram’s Ambartr Winds Of Change. Nicely made bitch with correct body length to height, skull and muzzle of equal length. Nice dark eyes. Balanced angles and good side gait with reach and drive, sound coming and going. Good feet. 2nd Corben’s Wellanga Winter Carols via Caprioana. Body and head proportions good. Gait sound from all views. I preferred the topline and feet of 1.

(6,4) 1st Corben’s Astromelias Ulises via Caprioana (Imp Esp) BOB and G4. 2nd Allsopp’s Aqualita It’s a Miracle. Just the 2 of them, but both very nice males of good proportions, well angulated and balanced, with good feet. Correct toplines and well set and held tails. Masculine heads of correct shape and proportions. Both sound on the move from all views. I preferred the slightly longer neck and excellent length of stride and drive from first.
