Graduate – 3 entries, 2 absent

1. Borecka & Emerson’s Kagatomisou Ken Manabu – 8month sesame male with clean markings. Good head and neat hooded ears, strong neck leading into correctly angulated shoulders. Ribbing adequate. Well angulated rear. Moved well in profile but slightly narrow behind at the moment but shows promise for the future. BOB & BPIB

1. Adey’s Burwen Pink Cadillac at Echezeaux – Red mature bitch with a good hear and ear. Slightly short in neck, moderate angulation both ends. Moved well in profile but slightly wide in front. RBOB

1. Chesterfield’s Ithera Dulce De Leche Into Burnsett – Gold bitch who was the best mover in this class. Moderate all through with an excellent coat. Good head with almost flat skull with dark oval eyes. Compact body with god ribbing. Good angulation both ends which gave her good reach and drive. BOB

2. Thompson’s Toynbee Sorella Bella – lovely puppy with a super temperament. Good in head, compact body with good angulation. Excellent reach and drive. Must have a bright future. BPIB

3. Taylor & Johnson’s Wrenwrox Royal Gem Avec Sifrason

1. Chesterfield’s Phareal Heartbreaker into Burnsett – 2.5year old male, up to size but lovely type. In excellent coat. Good head with excellent furnishings. Good angulation, well ribbed back. Moved well. RBOB

2. Moran & Holmes’ Aibrean Jenga – Bitch with good angulation front and rear. Moved soundly but didn’t have the reach and drive of 1st.

Tibetan Spaniel

1. Thomson’s Tibbiestars Time Lord JW – Red sable dog of good type. Good head and muzzle, ears ok. Well angulated in front, correct topline. Balanced rear. Moved well. BOB

2. Thomson’s Tibbiestars Storm Lord – 4yr old male who was rather long in body. Very sound on the move with a good front and forechest.

1. Thomson’s Tibbiestars Shady Lady – cheeky red sable bitch with a lovely temperament, would prefer her more compact in body. Good head but would like slightly more muzzle. Well angulated front and rear. Moves well. RBOB

1. Burns’ Chelmbull Freddy The Foreman at Burneze – Balanced brindle of good type with a good head and well placed ears, balanced fore and aft and moved really well. BOB

2. Young’s Clonnysmush My Spartan – Brindle male with a good head and ear. Not as good in front as 1, moved ok.

1. Higginbotham’s Lady Angelique – Beautiful red bitch of a super type, excellent head and small neat ears. Correct muzzle and pigmentation. Well off for bone, moderate angulation both fore and aft, excellent on the move showing the correct breed typical gait. Loved her. BOB and couldn’t resist her for Utility Group 1 in a strong group.

2. Hunt & Oliver’s Songshijia Chief Kwangchow – 11 month old male with a strong head, good pigmentation and in good coat. Would prefer smaller ears. Moved really well, just needs to tighten up in front. BPIB

1. Hunt & Oliver’s Mosspark Blue Spangle – Attractive blue bitch in excellent coat and condition. Good head, slightly long in muzzle. Correct angulation both front and rear which she used so well on the move. RBOB

2. Thorman’s Peter Parker at Namroht – Black impressive male with an immaculate coat. Moved well but would prefer slightly more foreface.

Strong neck, compact body with well rounded ribbing and correct tacked on shoulders. Well let down hocks. In muscular condition which showed in his excellent free movement. Was really taken with him. BOB, BPIB & Utility Puppy Group 2

1. Heslop’s Flamuna Definitely Maybe – brown bitch with a good head but ears slightly too big, Good neck and front, compact body, rear moderately angulated. Coat could do with some attention. BOB

1. Barreto’s Dalmanti Morning Sunshine – B&W 13 month male with a good head, lengthy neck leading into balanced angulation fore and aft. Moved out well. Good even spotting.

2. Wilkin’s Turnbull & Martin’s Salvadorada Je T’Adore – L&W 7 month bitch with good spotting. A little fine all through and is rather proud of her tail. Well angulated rear but could use more angulation in front. Moved ok. BPIB

1. Noble’s Ruebedu Ace of Spades – B&W bitch, moderate all through, attractive head, balanced angulation, good spotting. Moved well with good reach and drive. RBOB

2. Turnbull’s Spotamour Chocolate Éclair at Drengmar – L&W heavily marked dog with a good head, lengthy neck leading into well laid shoulders. Good ribbing. Moved well but slightly high tail.

1. Johnson’s Dvojica Evergreen – Lovely B&W dog of a good type. Lovely head, lengthy neck leading into correctly angulated shoulders, well ribbed back with compact loin and neat rear angulation. Excellent on the move showing superb reach and drive. Won BOB here with some to spare and Gp 3 in good competition.

2. Noble’s Ruebedu Sheik Yerbouti – mature B&W bitch with an attractive head and good spotting. A little fine in bone but good angulation and moved well showing good reach and drive.

1. Robinson, Sutton & Gouldson’s Whitewreath Crystal Lady – Very attractive bitch in excellent coat and condition. Balanced angulation which showed in her sound movement. Good head with correct ears, lengthy neck. Slightly longer in body than I’d like.

1. Simpson’s Snowbeach’s Shes All That to Rominjay – red and white with attractive black mask. Good head and ear, well angulated, good length and depth of body. Moved soundly with good reach and drive. BOB

1. Rowell’s Jayneze Miss Winniepeg Among Clovipop – Forward puppy with a good head and ear. Correct angulation, moved well, very together for age. Should do well. RBOB & BP

2. Winrow’s Jayneze Miss Eleanor – Attractive head and good front assembly. Moving a little narrow on the move but should settle with time.

3. Greenwood’s Ivy Jewel Take Me to Miami

1. Garbutt & Hoblin’s Kertellas Written In The Stars – 8 month well grown black dog presented to perfection. Super all male head with that typical glint in the eye. Well angulated both front and rear which he used so well on the move. Really loved him and pushed so hard for BOB, just missing out on maturity. RBOB, BPIB & Puppy Group 1

2. Wilson & Hall’s Dream Shannara Power Of A Unicorn (IMP ESP) – Pretty white bitch with an attractive head and eye, could use a little more underjaw. Stands on excellent feet. Good angulation. Moved well. In good coat and condition.

2. Little Thom – White bitch in pet trim who has a super temperament. Good head, well angled both ends but was a little erratic on the move at times.

1. Heslop’s Tianola Chasing Shadows (IMP) – Black male who commands attention. Super masculine head, lengthy neck, well angled both fore and aft. Stands on good feet. Moves so well and really draws the eye. Really liked this lovely dog. BOB and Group 2

1. Petit’s Rogspa Sunbeam – B/W bitch with a good outline, good head and eye. Good large feet. In excellent coat and condition. Moved with drive but a little narrow going away.

1. Petit’s Kyipo Hold That Thought With Rogspa – mature sable bitch with a good outline. Correct head, coat of good texture. Moved soundly with good reach and drive. BOB

1. Metcalfe’s Pippalata Overtime Magic – B/W bitch with a good outline, in super coat and condition. Very attractive bitch with good angulation, bone and large feet. Moved well in class but not as freely in the challenge unfortunately. RBOB

2. Taylor’s Layoli Sea of Secrets at Billkenstar – Black dog beautifully presented. Good head, square outline. Would like a little more reach and drive on the move.

3. Petit & Chamber’s Kyipo Sun Goddess to Rogspa

Utility Group

1 – Chow Chow – This beautiful bitch pulled out all the stops to head this strong group.

2 – Poodle (Standard) – Pushed hard and a bigger ring would have been to his advantage but he is a lovely dog with lots to like.

3 – Dalmatian – again a bigger ring would have allowed this smart dog to really motor round, but well deserved his place in this strong group

4 – Boston Terrier – Another lovely dog who really impressed me.

Utility Puppy Group

1. Poodle (Standard) – Just loved this puppy and I’m sure he has a bright future

2. Bulldog – Lovely young Bulldog male really showing well, super on the move.

3. Lhasa Apso – Another who with maturity is sure to have a bright future

4. Japanese Shiba Inu – This attractive young male completed a lovely puppy group line up

1. Evie Bryson handling a Scottish Terrier – Smart handler who handled her dog well on the table, clearly showing the teeth correctly and performed her patterns cleanly when moving.

2. Amelia Richardson handling a Standard Poodle – Handled this dog well, carefully showing the mouth and good straight lines, keep practicing to ensure that you are presenting the dog neatly and quickly but a good handler with a lot of promise

3. Robert Stuart handling a Hamiltonstovare – worked hard with his dog moving at a correct pace, just needs to practice presenting the dog to the judge.

12-17 years – 4 entries

1. Ashley Sutton handling a Doberman – Super handler who was smart and tidy in both presenting the dog and in the pattern work where the lines were straight and precise. Clearly has a lot of experience which showed in his calm manner and moving this large dog at the correct speed.

2. Lena Tate handling a Standard Poodle – Experience handler I have admired before, getting lots of experience handling a range of breeds which is great to see, clean precise lines and good presentation of the dog for the judge, just work on stacking the dog a bit quicker to be ready for the judge.

3. Chantelle Stuart handling a Beagle

18-24 years – 2 entries, 1 absent

1. Lauren Huyton handling a Belgian Shepherd Dog (Groenendael) – stood alone but carried out a professional job from the minute she walked in the ring, handling her dog calmly and correctly with clean and precise pattern work and always presenting the dog to best advantage. Well done.

Adult Handling

1. Chantelle Smith handling a Spanish Water Dog – Presented dog well and in a breed typical manner, lines were tidy and dog presented to advantage.

31-50 years – 6 entries

1. Lesley Read handling a German Shorthaired Pointer – Very good handler who presented the dog well at all times and performed clean and precise pattern work

2. Mandy Corbett handling a Lhasa Apso – Good pattern work and presented dog well on the table, just not quite as polished as 1st today on the move.

1. C Simpson handling an Akita – Very competent handler who completed pattern work very well with a large dog, tidy lead at all times and presented dog to best advantage

2. Miss Patricia Dodds handling a Cairn Terrier – Very smart handler who was close up just unfortunately went between judge and dog on a turn.
