Many thanks for the kind invitation to judge at this well organised Open show. I wish the Club and the hard-working committee well for the future.

Great Danes (2/1)

1. Danemoor Penny Lane

 Good for size and substance. Strong through the body and loin. Well set tail. Moved out freely and soundly. BOB

AV Working NSC

Puppy (2,1)

1. Boreal Routes Conundrum for Ahtohallan (imp Swe)

Alaskan Malamute , well handled without any fuss. Very masculine head and well set ears. Good bone. Clean shoulder with balanced angles back and front. Good feet. Well set and carried tail. Twixt coats. Moving soundly. BOB

Working Group

1. Jodaseen Steel City Blues

Doberman girl of pleasing proportions. Presented in optimum condition, with hard muscling. Feminine head but no sign of coarseness. She scored on the move with her handler setting a correct pace to show reach and drive but not racing. A good honest worker.

2. Simden Bank the Hitman from Jarno

 Leonberger puppy of such great promise. Very well grown on and still in his puppy fluff. Kind head and eye with dense black mask. Lovely proportions and standing square with not a lot of help. Still a little loose on the move but sound and with good angles evident. Happy to give him the Puppy Working group as well.

3. Treju Trojan Goddess Boxer. A very promising young lady. Presented in good order. Good square outline and with a lovely head, not overdone and not without work. Lovely lip line. Enough neck into a well shaped body and firm coupling. Still needs a little more rib but this can come.

4. Anchorbrook Aye Aye Cap’n

 Newfoundland. Of good size and in good coat. Strong head and neck. Would have preferred better movement.

Doberman

Very handy puppy , growing well and already with lovely proportions and a typical head. Well muscled and moving out soundly. Well handled

3. Newfangled Yes You Did

Newfoundland

A real baby girl but most promising. Good for substance but still on the smaller end of the standard. Presents a good profile and moves out soundly.

4. Aloustair’s Circle of Life Siberian Husky

A petite lady, such a sweet head and lovely ears and ear set. Not cooperating today, so it was hard to see movement and her outline. Worth persevering with, I think.

AV Veteran (Working)

1. PS I love you Nelly Bory Cysterskie

 Leonberger

Such a sound lady. Presented at a good weight and in good coat. Lovely to go over with good neck, deep chest, strong coupling and well angulated both ends. Good on the up and down and balanced in side gait.

2. Charmedkeiz All Seein Angel

Siberian Husky

Lovely head and expression with very correct ears and ear set. Good through neck and front with well laid shoulder. I would prefer a tidier outline and rear movement.
