Special Awards classes

Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge the following three classes and a special thank you to Yvonne for stewarding.

Puppy (1 0)

1 Bailey’s Bilohka baby Browning, Almost 12 months old fawn bitch, She still needs to mature on but lots of attributes to her, Pretty, good sized head with dark eyes and good pigment, open nares, well set button ears, enough bone for her size, well set single twist, black nails, moved well in all directions, sensitively and well handled.

Post Graduate (6 2)

A lovely class with varying types and much to consider.

1 Walker’s Afterglow Wild west Hero at Sunlea, 17 month old male fawn, I have seen him before but never had the opportunity to study him closely and he was the easy winner of this good class, A quality dog, who was presented in a short correct jacket, he has a very attractive headpiece with good workings, dark eyes, good nares and width of muzzle, he has a straight front with black nails and a compact short body with well sprung ribs and single twist well set, he has a lovely outline, moved well for his handler keeping his topline, showing all the time.

2 Marsh’s Eastonite Black Sara, 18 month old black female, A different type and not quite the front or compactness of 1 this bitch had many attributes to admire, she is well grown and fully mature and not lacking any substance, Presented in the blackest of coats which was gleaming, she has a beautiful relatively round large with a square blunt muzzle and plenty of workings without being over done, set on a good reach of neck to carry it with a slight crest, well off for bone with well sloped shoulders with a good depth of brisket, single twist to her tail and moved purposefully round the ring in all directions.

3 Rutherford’s Afterglow Dreamsicle with Potbelli

Open (7 3)

1 Cowie’s Ch Afterglow Esther La Vista megipugi JW, just over two and a half years old fawn bitch, she is well balanced of good size and presents a lovely outline both standing and on the move. She has a very pretty, possesses a good sized round head with dark eyes and a lovely soft expression, with good workings and well set button ears. Well boned and straight front with well sloped shoulders and level topline, single twist to her tail, moved and showed well for her handler just carrying a touch too much weight.

2 Walker’s Afterglow Able Mable of Sunlea JW, litter sister to the winner and shares many of the same attributes just not in as short a jacket on the day, she also has a lovely head with good pigment, dark eyes and a lovely soft expression, well boned straight front, black nails, compact body, well angulated hindquarters and a single twist, she held a level topline both standing and going.
